Cute little mountain town cafe ambiance. Good food and great service. I recommend if it want a relaxing atmosphere.

Great casual eatery & bar providing Southwestern dishes in a cozy space with a seasonal patio right in the heart of Vail!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent, I highly recommend this spot!!

We had a great meal at Billy Ranch and they got us in without a reservation and on the patio! Our serve was super friendly and attentive. Overall a great meal! I had the salmon, which was light, fresh, and well prepared! My husband had the shrimp with mango salsa. Kids had a burger and mac n cheese. All were great! Love the location and the patio is cute at night with the string lights.

Highly recommend! This is a cute restaurant with an old school mountain feel. I was looking for something different in Vail and came across this restaurant on Yelp! So happy we decided to eat here. We started with the nachos which were INCREDIBLE!! Highly recommend. I then had the burger, which was so good with the tots (which were not overly truffle). I thought the quality of the food was absolutely incredible for the price. 4 of us walked out for a decent price for Vail Village. Big shoutout to our server Chad who was AWESOME! He was attentive and friendly and didn't miss a beat. Lastly - there's a huge TV at the bar if you're looking for somewhere to catch a game.

Oh, burger, you're more than just a meal, You're happiness wrapped, a love I feel. A feast for the senses, a joy I crave, Forever your flavor, my heart's willing slave. Wow this place was busy! And WORTH IT. Make a reservation. Because if you don't, you may never get to experience the burger and truffle tots. And then what reason would have to get out of bed ever again? There were other things on the menu.... But why? Get the burger! Any burger! Good mocktail selection too! Parking tip is to park in front of the bank after hours. That saves you some coinage to also get the brussel sprouts.

Really awesome place to grab some dinner after a day in the slopes! The chickpea burger was the only thing I was craving and it did not disappoint! They were also able to accommodate our very large party effortlessly!

Had a great dinner here. It's attached to the Sonnenalp hotel. I ordered a shrimp pesto pizza which was absolutely phenomenal, and my buddy had a fried chicken sandwich- it was huge and made lovingly with quality ingredients. Comfort food but made really well, so much better than a couple of other recent places we tried in Vail.

We came here during the off season, on a Sunday. Not a places were open so we decided to try it out. We ordered the fried chicken burger, tomato cheddar soup and a shrimp pesto pizza. They were all delicious. I think this place is totally worth it.

Located in the Sonnelap Hotel, this restaurant is right of the main road, but worth the extra walk! We were seated right away without a reservation. Vibe was relaxed and family friendly. I had cesar salad and then pizza. My daughter had a chicken sandwich with tater tots . We both loved our food. Server was very nice and service was fast. With so many restaurants in vail being so expensive, this was a welcome relief , good food , reasonable prices, and great atmosphere!!

After a tiring excursion in the mountains we were ready to eat and very happy we chose Bully Ranch for lunch. Drinks were great from the dirty martini to the cosmos to their specialty drinks. We started with their tater tots which were the perfect crisp & the brussel sprouts 10/10. I decided on the bourbon burger with a side of chili, and it did not disappoint! Chili had a nice spice to it and the burger was so tasteful. The rest of my party also really enjoyed their dishes from the soup & salads to their burgers and sandwich. Our server Alyssa was so attentive and provided a great experience. Would definitely be coming back when in Vail.

It was pretty quiet (still off-season), and my husband and I were the only ones there when we walked in around 10. We sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with Jeremy; I ordered the Gingerbread Man (take on an old fashioned with brown butter washed bourbon, and my husband got the "50 Shades of Green" - definitely one of the most unique cocktails we've ever tried! Price: Expect standard Vail pricing for high-end cocktails, with most drinks ranging between $16-$20. Customer Service: The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient; even though we stayed for quite a while to catch up, we felt welcomed and well-attended to the entire night. Atmosphere This spot has a cool, welcoming vibe that feels very safe. It's the kind of environment where you can really settle in and enjoy the company you're with. The Drinks I ordered the Sangre del Sol. The flavor was amazing, though be warned it is very strong! It's an excellent choice if you enjoy a cocktail with a serious kick, but I ended up letting my friend finish mine after a few sips. Overall Experience I highly recommend Root & Flower for a beautiful setting and top-tier service. Pro Tip: A huge bonus for this location is the parking! You can park for free after 3 PM at the S. Frontage Rd. East garage right nearby. I'll definitely be back!

Dinner: - Butternut baba ganoush: all the flavors of baba ganoush but with butternut squash, and the warm pita was great - Fire roasted tomato and chorizo soup: a bit on the thinner side, smoky, interesting - Buttermilk sea salt biscuit: rich, flaky, with extra butter, country ham, and red pepper jelly - Warm pimento cheese: I don't usually care for pimento, but their's is great with grilled bread. The restaurant is definitely number one at customer service and I loved how everyone worked together. Even though the restaurant was busy, we did not feel lost in the shuffle. It was clean and inviting. They offered an array of choices, so there would be something for everyone if you decide to dine here. The food was good, preparation and display were done carefully, but the taste was overall just ok. The appetizers we chose were Warm Pimento Cheese, which was mildly flavorful, but good, and Prime Beef Carne Apache, which had no flavor at all. The main courses we chose included a pork dish and a chicken dish. The chicken had great flavor, but was placed on a bed of potato wedges which were not all completely cooked through. We felt this took away from the overall dish. The accompanied sauce made with yogurt and poppyseed did not add any flavor to the dish. The pork dish had great flavor. The drinks accompanying the food were made well and tasty. The kids menu has an array of choices as well, and our choice of macaroni and cheese was a hit! We ended with a frozen snicker bar dessert that tasted exactly like a frozen snickers bar. Overall, we had a very nice evening and would definitely visit again.

He was by himself and she gave the table with six chairs to him. His full party was clearly not there but she sat him anyway. Why is that allowed? Clearly favoritism. And to be clear, two of his friends showed up and the other three never arrived. So, at that point we told the hostess we were now a table of four and she said we could sit at a table that had 3 chairs. Well okay....we took it. As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides.
