I came into the ER around 1 a.m. in an extreme amount of pain from my neck and shoulder, and from the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, empathetic and reassuring. I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the nurse who cared for me, but she was wonderful and immediately made me feel at ease. Dr. Hamilton was exceptional. She could see how much pain I was in, and rather than rushing through the visit, she genuinely listened while I explained what I had been experiencing and talked through my symptoms with me. But what really blew me away was what she did next. Dr. Hamilton personally referred me to the orthopedic surgeon who had treated both her and her son--and then went the extra mile to help make sure I could actually be seen later THAT SAME DAY. I went into the ER at 1 a.m., and by 2:30 that afternoon, I was sitting in the orthopedic surgeon's office receiving the specialized care I needed. That level of compassion and follow-through is incredibly rare, especially in an emergency room setting. She didn't just treat my immediate pain and send me on my way; she made sure there was a path forward for me. I have been to this Baptist Neighborhood Hospital location a few times over the years and have consistently had great experiences with the physicians and staff, but Dr. Hamilton was truly exceptional. I am incredibly grateful that she happened to be the physician caring for me that night. Thank you, Dr. Hamilton, and thank you to the entire team at the Overlook Parkway location for treating me with so much kindness and compassion when I was hurting and scared. I have been having serious health issues for the past couple of weeks and since my primary care couldn't get in to see me, I chose to go to urgent care, even though y'all's your is closer and more convenient and prior to the certain doctor was always amazing. But the past three times I've been there have made me never want to see a doctor again in my life. The urgent care to go to the ER because my problems were too serious for them to treat. She even sent an email over to the Baptist ER to let them know that I was coming and I needed to be treated Now. I drove straight there I checked in. I was taken back right away. The nurse was super nice. I gave her all of my medication list all of my symptoms and as soon as she walked out the door, Dr. Freeman walked in. And I felt my heart race and I suffer from panic disorder. I started to have a panic attack. She is an absolutely awful doctor and I can never go to this Baptist ER again cause I can't trust that she'll be there or not. I'm a chronic pain patient. I'm established with the pain management doctor. I have an outstanding record with them. I don't drink or do drugs. I take my medicine as prescribed. Dr. Freeman walked in the room and didn't say hi. We're introduced herself or look at all the paperwork with all of my symptoms right behind her, she walked up to the bed and said what do you want? What can we do for you today. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The symptoms that I am still having are very scary and I'll be going to a different ER tomorrow, but I also made a post on the next-door app about Dr. Freeman and it's trending because there's so many people who have been treated by her and never wanna go there again. My sister and her husband have gone there and dealt with her and been treated the same way from now on I'll be going to Stone Oak Hospital. That way I won't be shamed for the health issues that I have. And also before I could even explain to Dr. Freeman, what was happening and what was going on She had written down how many pain meds that I had been prescribed this year and picked up and I said it's a good thing. I don't want pain medication from you then. And I asked for the paper to leave against doctors orders. And I will never be back to this hospital. She's a terrible doctor. She's prejudice. She's unapproachable. She's completely unprofessional. And she doesn't listen. She's just not a nice person to be a doctor and there for someone looking for help and as I can see on the rest of the reviews it seems Dr. Freeman has mentioned a lot in a negative light. Don't see anything positive about her. But I will be calling to get her information to report her to the medical board. This is gone on too long.

My original MRI was scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026. I arrived for my appointment only to be…read moretold that the MRI could not be performed because the insurance authorization had not been verified. As a result, the MRI was canceled, and I subsequently had to cancel and reschedule my specialist appointment because the specialist needed the MRI results before seeing me. My MRI was then rescheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026. Because of what happened with the first appointment, I took it upon myself to contact my insurance company on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before the appointment to make sure the authorization had been completed. Each time, my insurance company advised me that they had not received an authorization request from Baptist M&S Imaging. Beginning Thursday, I also contacted Baptist M&S Imaging regarding the authorization and was told that someone would get back to me. I did not receive a response until approximately 3:00 p.m. Friday, the day before my scheduled MRI. At that time, I was told that I would not be able to have my MRI the following morning because my insurance company had not responded to the authorization request. I explained that I had personally spoken with my insurance company numerous times that week and had repeatedly been told that they had received nothing from Baptist M&S Imaging. It was then finally acknowledged that the authorization paperwork had only been submitted that day, Friday, and had been marked urgent. Consequently, my MRI was canceled for a second time on August 22, and I have now had to reschedule my specialist appointment for a second time because the MRI has not been completed. What is particularly concerning is that the first appointment was already canceled because of an authorization issue. Despite having two additional weeks before the rescheduled appointment, the authorization apparently was still not submitted until the day before the second MRI. I was also told that a supervisor would contact me regarding this matter. As of today, August 24, 2026, I have received no call or follow-up from a supervisor. This is more than an inconvenience. These repeated administrative failures have resulted in a delay in my medical evaluation and treatment. I made repeated efforts to prevent the second cancellation by contacting both my insurance company and Baptist M&S Imaging, yet the same problem occurred again. As of today still no supervisor has returned my call....

I loved my MRI experience, not cold and sterile like the several others I have had within the past 6 months at various other places. I was kept warm and cozy and even got my choice of what I wanted to listen to during my test, through headphones. I chose 70's music (I mean there is nothing better than that decade of tunes, am I right ? ). My tech Terri was amazing and updated me several times throughout the procedure. I'm not gonna lie (I don't anyway ) it was so comfortable I did catch me some zzz's haha , yes! It was that comfortable. Oh, also some brand drinks and snacks for you as you leave. I plan to make this my place for all my imaging needs. Thanks a bunch guys :)

I even called facilities within 100 miles to see if I could have the MRI done somewhere else so I could cancel this appointment. Unfortunately, I had no luck, so I decided to keep my appointment--and I am very glad I did. I want to give credit to the entire Stone Oak office staff for turning what I expected to be a stressful experience into a very positive one. The waiting room was very comfortable, and I received a friendly greeting when I checked in. Shortly afterward, the nurse introduced herself and explained that she would be placing an IV. I told her that I am claustrophobic, had a Valium available if needed, and also have an Inspire implant. She could tell that I was very nervous and immediately reached out to Ed, the MRI technologist. Ed took the time to speak with me and explain exactly what would happen during the scan. While we were discussing the procedure, I showed him the area of concern, which was primarily my pelvis. He noticed that the MRI order was for the abdomen, which would not have properly covered the area that needed to be scanned. He recognized that the order needed to be changed from an abdominal MRI to a pelvic MRI to ensure the correct area was evaluated. Ed personally walked me to the front desk, where the receptionist contacted the ordering physician's office. I also called Dr. Rivera myself, and he was able to provide a verbal order so we could proceed with the correct MRI. The MRI itself went much better than I expected. Ed played music during the scan, and a calming voice explained when I needed to hold my breath and what to expect throughout the procedure. That made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable. Kudos to the entire Stone Oak staff! The nurse was incredibly sweet and attentive to how apprehensive I was, and Ed was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure I received the correct scan. I truly appreciate everyone who took the extra time to make sure everything was done correctly. Thank you to the Stone Oak team for turning what started as a frustrating experience into one that I can honestly give five stars.

April 29 I was in severe pain again and had shortness of breath . When I called him he told me to come in for an xray. When I said I had one already he got quiet and said " I don't know how I missed this but you have a mass the size of a golf ball on your lung" I was devastated to hear this over the phone. Again my March complaint wasn't documented. I called back immediately and asked for the radiology report. He never read It! He probably didnt even look at the xray. I have advanced lung cancer.
