Prices increase while the service decreases with every treatment. Always a new tech coming to my home and barely treating and providing me the service I pay a lot of money for. Had a pre-emergent weed service today and the tech was at my house for 5 minutes tops if anything less than that. I have a huge front yard and backyard. So it should be taking them a lot longer to spray my yards. Having weeds that show no treatment on them nor anywhere around my yard could I see sprayed. read more

I've now had Bulwark out to our home three times - once for an initial treatment of an ant infestation, a second time for a free retreatment (the ants are relentless, man), and a third time for our regularly scheduled treatment. [I had Bulwark out for my regular service. Eduardo noticed the roden box,that had been left behind from past service. He opened it up and there was a live rat. The box had no bait in it for quite some time. Eduardo was able to kill the rat with a shovel and placed bate in the box again. he contained with spraying. I was trying to disconnect and reconnect a new garden hose with difficulty. Eduardo noticed I was having a hard time. He offered to help me. I am a senior citizen so his offer to help was very appreciated. He went the extra mile! Bulwark schedules appointments every two months, and has an app that let's you schedule any in-between visits you may need as well as over the phone. They also give you sticky cardboard traps that seem to be working better than just spraying the baseboards. We have German cockroaches and they are hard to get rid of. We're seeing less, and the extra visits seem to be helping. read more

These people are clueless. I've had their service post regular pest and termite for years. I got a text in April about setting up payments for my termite warranty (which isn't due until August , when I pulled up my account online ). When I asked how much it was and when it was due, I was told they couldn't tell me by text and to call...really? So I told them don't text or call I'll pay in full when I get the bill in August. By this time I had looked it up. Ps. 3 phone calls about setting up monthly payments? Finally cancelled service entirely except for termite warranty. I got a call and email about picking up bait stations. They came out on a Saturday and picked them up. Got another call after they had been out to arrange pickup. I called and told them it had been done. They said yes they see that but didn't close out a ticket. No apology for yet another call. Just a snotty attitude. When there are multiple companies in the valley, why deal with people trying to get you to pay months before your service is due, repeatedly call after you tell them no, and then can't even keep track of the work they've done? read more

Well, this review pains me to write. A little background.. I signed up with Bulwark in 2006 and for the most part have been very satisfied with them... until now. I agreed to change to auto-payments to be drawn every month instead of the bi-monthly payments. When I did this, I was specifically told that my current balance would have to be paid manually as the auto-payment wouldn't take effect until the next payment. During this time, my wife was furloughed from her job for 2 months. I went to call Bulwark to see if my service could be placed on hold until we got her paycheck again. Before I could do this, Bulwark charged me for 3 months of service. I was shocked that they did this, no email to advise or phone call??? When I called in to complain, I spoke to a supervisor named Jessica. She offered no help at all.. she did offer to refund the $73.50 that was taken without permission but that payment would still be due right away. After 17 years as a customer, I told her that I would have to cancel my account if this can not be resolved... her response? "I can cancel your account right away". Really? No attempt what so ever to retain a long time customer? After that, I emailed the owner of the company "Tom" explaining the situation. No response... after a week, I went back on their website and filled out the contact request hoping to get someone to contact me to discuss my situation... still nothing...I didn't want to cancel my account but I feel that if they have no interest in retaining a customer, I'm not gonna beg to be their customer. After a very basic search, I found that there are tons of other pest control companies that would love to have me as a customer... as a basic business thought, it appears that customer acquisition and retention only appears to be $75 for Bulwark. Called bulwark after requesting a quote through Yelp; they immediately got back to me, as they say, the early bird gets the worm. After speaking with Steven on their sales line, I got started with their month to month roach extermination services. Was able to save some money through the Yelp deal they have on their page, so overall I was just a happy customer. As they told me over the phone, the service technician was on time and very professional. Talked me through the process, and was in and out of my house within 20 minutes. They are coming back every 2 months to spray, and the price I'm getting is extremely reasonable. Let this be a note to other business owners that utilize the Request A Quote button on Yelp: Respond back as soon as possible! We had some family move back to Arizona who purchased a ranch. They had some rattle snakes and mice they wanted to protect the animals from. Since we used them before, and the price was decent I referred them. I recommender they ask another family member who they used as well since the lived on an acre lot and had dealt with mice in the past too. That way they had something to compare. Horrible Termite Service- Cory came out to inspect my obvious active termite infestation w confirmed by technician on 04.29.19. The entire threshold of one of my doors was completely eaten away by termites. Inspection showed termites active. No notes were put on my account only for another home of mine that I had an estimate done on was notated. More time wasted on the phone trying to get things straightened out. I am a very disappointed customer and I recommend having your termite needs handled by a different company who guarantees their service when it fails to protect your home from getting eaten away by termites. read more

I have had bulwark for about a year. I haven't been happy with them. Office doesn't know what exterminator use and don't relay properly to exterminator what I required. We have fruit trees ( there when we bought house but hate them.) we started getting rats when my neighbors but in fruit trees too. First exterminator was great. Went around told me what I needed checked exterior for any way the could get in attic said all was good. Second gentleman was good too. He texted me when he was coming and when he what he did and I was very happy. 2nd time same thing. After that it was only when I called because no one had been out to fill boxes and treat pest control around the house. Office didn't know what had been done and never relayed the message I asked of them. One time I was text he is on his way never showed up. We asked for snap traps a guy came out never told us what he did. I waited three weeks not a word I was ready to find another company but then Josean L was sent out and explained what he was doing snap traps were in place and someone should have been checking if rat in trap. They no showed for the first appointment. When I called to ask what's up, they have pretended like my appointment was the next day despite my email confirmation. Guys came out and were done within 20 minutes, promised there would be a 2 week follow up and they would call me to schedule. Didn't hear anything so I called. Lady who answered said she didn't have anything for a week. I said I needed two weeks out and she said call back in a week. That was a month ago. No customer service, no follow up like they said and I find it hard to believe they couldn't schedule me for two weeks out if that was what I promised. read more

They made multiple mistakes when scheduling our appointments and never took responsibility for their mistake. I canceled our service and will be looking for a new exterminator. I was not impressed with the chemical used by Bulwark. I believe the natural product even though it's top of the line as I was told is simply not as effective. I had them treat ants, black widows and scorpions at my residence and they had to come back to retreat 3+ times. The first spray was light. The call for a second retreat was very heavy as I could see where the spray was and had wished the attention was placed on the first spray. A third spray was needed as black widows were still building webs and tons of babies had been made and it was in process. Then I get billed for the next installment without seeing a decrease in creepy crawlies. The only way I got rid of 7 black widows on my back porch was walking around and lighting them on fire with a torch. The very next day I found another scorpion in the house.I had to find a new provider because our local guy stopped servicing our area and charged only $60 a spray. One of his heavy thorough sprays knocked everything out, every time. I cancelled bulwark and conveniently moved too. read more
