Kim Van Wieren came out to do my in-home estimate, and he brought a massive amount of samples to look through. After coordinating with my sister who lives overseas, we settled on a colour and amount of transparency. Once the shades were ready, Kim came back out and did the installation. I could not be happier with the quality and the overall look. Switching from the old dated plastic miniblinds to modern shades made the room really come alive. This was the BEST decision I could have made and Kim was so patient and kind throughout the whole process.

Happy with the finished result, but not with the customer service or communication…read more Even though I was told I would receive updates as they happened (such as being notified when they were ready to be installed), I had to reach out several times to find out where we were in the process, only to find out they hadn't sent me the updates like they said they would. When it was finally time to make an appointment, Sarah scheduled me for Wednesday, but told me Tuesday. I took a day off work to be there since the installation was supposed to be 3-4 hours long. I called Sarah when the installation guy didn't show and she realized her mistake, but all she did was push back the next day's installation to 4 PM. This still required me to get into work several hours early so I could leave in time to be home by 4, and it also meant the guy was in my house until about 8:30 that night-- not ideal. They could barely muster up the strength to act like they cared, and made no attempt to rectify the fact that I wasted a full day's vacation time because of their error. When the guy finally showed up to install the shades the next day, he had not been informed about the height of one of the windows and did not bring the right ladder to install the shade on the high window, despite the height being something I pointed out several times during the measurement process. Luckily the two of us got creative and were able to find a way to install it nonetheless, but suffice to say this company has a major communication problem and definitely won't be winning any customer satisfaction awards anytime soon. Shades look nice, though. Only reason I'm not giving them a 1-star.

Found another company that had the patience to actually show me the blinds, let me see what they would look in the windows and a comparison of prices so that I could make the best decision.
