Then I called Gulf Coast and they were awesome. I sent them photos and they immediately said they could do the job and arranged a perfect day and time for us. They sent a crew over this morning, managed by a very knowledgeable and capable young man named, I think, Boris (I might have the name wrong). He looked it over, explained their plan, and they did the job perfectly in about an hour. The awning is now very securely reattached. And for an excellent price. Every so often you find on Yelp a company with extremely high competence, easy to communicate with, and with very reasonable pricing. Gulf Coast is a perfect example of this. They were also able to point out areas that seemed to be improperly repaired and repainted but not disclosed to us (despite requesting this information from the sellers). Our technician Colton was very personable and spent time walking us through the various areas of the house and explaining what the issues were and how they could be improved if we went forward. Ultimately, we walked away from the deal due to the high potential for this to be an extremely expensive and time-consuming repair (in addition to other issues found during the regular inspection).
