Five stars all the way! ... On my way down the 5 one evening my sweet little 03 audi a4 hit a very hard, heavy object. After driving around with some damage to my front bumper over a couple months, the warped plastic pieces became just plain hazardous for daily driving so I was forced to repair. Dreading the price of foreign car parts and fixing, I gave Bumper Rescue a call. SO EASY! I was actually smiling when I hung up the phone. Mike said I could swing by in the morning before work and he'd have a look. I had two options: have them rig it up as a temporary remedy for $25 or...check audi part prices. Turns out, brand new it cost me $95 for the bumper panel, $35 for a plastic grill piece that had fallen out, and $25 labor charge! The next day I came in, walked over to In-N-Out for a milkshake and drove away with a car put back together again in half an hour. Couldn't have had better service or a better price. And I'll even say I'm just a simple gal, that to be honest, could've been taken advantage of. But they were the honest ones, and super friendly to deal with. So needless to say I'm very pleased with my experience at Bumper Rescue and I can't imagine any different for you. They even told thanked ME for coming in! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Disregard the bad reviews??? DISREGARD THE POSITIVE REVIEWS! I called to ask for them to paint my car following having somebody else replace the bumper and fender. He talked me into letting him do both so I agreed. At first, so happy to have my car, "repaired," I was very excited but when I looked more closely, the lines didn't match up, where the parts should have been flush they were uneven, and..... when I opened my passenger door it rubbed against one of the parts he had put on, because it wasn't lined up correctly, causing the door to chip. So, I took it to my mechanic and he offered to fix it feeling sorry for me and my horrible experience! Immediately, he commented on how poor of a paint job they had done because the obvious mismatched paint. When he took it off he called me to the shop and pointed out how the bumper was, "jimmy rigged," on to satisfy his promise to have everything quickly assembled. There were holes drilled into the body where holes didn't exist to poorly hang it on the frame! THEN, three months later, the mismatching paint started to peel off!!!! AVOID THIS SCAM OF A BUSINESS!!!!! When I called to complain, in the most classless, incoherently out-of - trailer English, Mike started yelling at me, who yells at a customer?! read more

Shay's the man. Bumper Rescue is located by In/Out Burger off Mission Bay Dr north where it leads onto the 5 North. Have Toyota Matrix & pulled panel ajar which is located ahead of door - not exactly the bumper but they wrap together. Shay fixed everything for an extremely low price & even mixed paint to match the scratch as well as another unrelated scratch - & just kind of threw that all in with price quoted to repair panel(?)/bumper . That was a nice surprise. I can't guarantee that will always happen; but he definitely aims to please; does good work; and does it quickly. Something else I really appreciated - the first thing he said to me when I drove in was "don't worry, we can fix it". That was so nice. One time I went to Toyota auto body and their price was so high, I couldn't afford it at all, so I was worried about the price. Anyway, I'm very happy and I think you will be too. Car bumpers or related pieces seem to have a tendency to literally fall apart if you look at them sideways, so good to know where to go. read more

I got a quote for almost $2500 to fix a bumper and a keying scratch across two doors. Whether insurance paid or not, that was unbelievalbe to me. I went to bumper rescue and they did it for a quarter or less of the prices. The bumper looks brand new, so does the door with the deepest scratch. I can tell where the other door had a small scratch but it is not very obvious. They did what the said they wouuld do, were honest. My van is ten years old, I like it looking good but would never have paid what the auto shops bid. Get a bid from a regular shop and then check this out. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised. They also gave me the small bottle that was left of the touch up paint. Good customer service, very pleasant dealings. I am self employed so I pay a lot of attention to how people treat you. I checked the web site and wouuld not have gone if I read the two bad reviews. This place is great. They quoted me a price of $400 bucks even of a dent that I had previously had quoted for $1500 somewhere else. I showed up on a Thursday morning out of the blue was helped right as i walks theough the door. I told mike what i needed done he came out looked iver the dent and he gave me the quote and we made the date to have it done the following week on Tuesday. He was really understanding that I didn't know right than and there if I could do it because of money but he said that's fine just call to tell me if you can't or can. So I Showed up at 8 o'clock on tuesday dropped my truck off and had the dent out and finished by 2:30 that same day. The dent wasnt even noticeable. They did an amazing job. And it was the same price I was quoted. These guys are great and really a blast to talk to. I was recommended by a friend to go there now ill recommended everyone to go there. read more

I had the best experience with Bumper Rescue. I had a scrape on my front bumper that was bugging me and i had to get it fixed. I called and went in for an estimate, MIke was the nicest person ever, right away he gave me a very reasonable estimate, and even gave me an offer i couldnt refuse to get my whole bumper redone (it was much needed). I took my car the next morning and was ready by that afternoon. The guys at bumper rescue are very professional and go above and beyond, taking care of every minor detail. These guys touched up my hood for free which had quite a few rock chips. Seriously, i couldnt have gone to a better shop. The nicest owner and the best workers. I own a full sized Tundra 4x4 crew cab. It is a big truck and everyone quotes me huge prices to fix it. I have used this place twice in the last year and both times they have been amazing. Not only has the work been 100% perfect, but they have gotten it done in a day, and charged me just over $100 for the service. Keep in mind they repainted my tail gate, buffed scratches from my door, and worked out a dent in my bumper . . . . on a FULL sized truck for just over a hundred bucks. I have refered all of my friends, and would trust no-one else to work on the exterior of my truck. Yuo owe it to yourself and your car to at least check them out the next time you need work. I first brought my car to Shay in August 2015 for numerous repairs to my car - I had backed into a pole and scraped the side of my car and, in addition, a trash truck had scraped my front bumper. He made my car look like new, as if these accidents had never occurred! The paint matching was perfect and the body work meticulous. Based on my good experience with Shay, I brought my car into Shay again this weekend, this time because I needed my passenger side mirror and windshield wipers replaced. Again, Shay met every one of my expectations. My mirror and wipers were replaced within 2 hours and he even washed my car. I requested a quote for my car from a few different shops, but Shay responded to my messages quick and they were very detailed. Their work is outstanding and the price was great as well. A few weeks ago, someone scratched the side of my car while I was out shopping. Knowing that a new paint job was not in my budget, I decided to try Bumper Rescue even though it was not on my bumper. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Mike. After he examined my damage, he gave me an estimate for the cost and time---both good --not too expensive and only 30 minutes to repair. He then suggested that I go to the nearby fast food place while they did the work. After the 30 minutes I returned to find my car ready to go and all repaired. I was very happy. This was the worst experience I have ever had to endure from a business!!! After just three months, my poorly matched paint started bubbling and coming off! When I confronted Mike, he started yelling at me in his own defense, who yells at customers? Then, the body work he talked me into allowing him to do, was poorly mounted and where it should have been flush with the rest of the parts, it was uneven causing my door to chip by rubbing against the careless body work. Got in a small fender bender and was recommended Shay and bumper rescue. SO fast and easy to get a quote, you can even upload photos online and he gets back to you very quickly.
