I went in to get an estimate after someone scratched my car and we wanted to do it without insurance. I got back an estimate with explanation that did not go over a scratch and described as a different estimate. I called to figure out what was happened they said they'll call me back but never did. My car was complete a day earlier, and it looks good as new. They even detailed my car. Their office and waiting area is clean. Overpriced Absolutely do not use this company! These guys are low life nickle and dimers. I brought my vehicle for not one, but TWO repairs since my vehicle was hit twice in one week. I was being nice and letting them do both repairs even though one insurance company wanted me to go to their preferred vendor. As a deal, the guy offered to replace my driver mirror, which I already bought and was painted. Needless to say, they took over 3 weeks to repair both claims. They painted the whole car as part of the claim, and still charged me 84 dollars to paint a mirror that was already painted white and was a match. Additionally, because one of the drivers who hit my vehicle didn't have insurance we had to go through my insurance, which had a $1,000 deductible. The lady who hit me was going to get me the money next week and they said if I didn't pay in full they would keep my car as long as possible as collateral. I offered to pay 500 upfront and 500 next week because who has an extra 1k sitting around. They wouldn't budge and they were extremely rude. I gave them over $7,000 in repairs which they marked "up" because insurance was paying for it and still charged me 84 dollars to paint a mirror that was already painted. The manager is by far the worst business person I have ever met. Don't ever bring your car here and expect them to take care of you, when you are bringing them business. 1/10. read more

I took my car here as a Geico claim. The repair was evaluated and a time frame was given. I was called and informed that more time was needed. When I got the vehicle back it was missing two plastic pieces that covered the bolts connecting the bumper to the car. They could not find them so they were going to order some from Toyota. Two weeks passed I called and asked about the parts, I was told they would check with parts and would get a return call. No one ever called. Two days later I called back, the excuses continued for months. It has been almost a year and still no parts. I would avoid this place because of the lies. read more

I took my car to Mission Bay Collision center via my insurance after getting into a car accident in PB. It was very easy to get an appointment to drop off my car through my insurance. The team was so nice and communicative. I was able to leave my car there for the repair while I was on vacation for two weeks. I just picked up my car today and it looks great! Time for an updated review. This shop is my go to for my Lexus rx350. Not only is the staff super helpful And professional, but they go above and beyond to help their customers. Jason and Greg helped me this time. They were fantastic so at this point it's safe to say anyone here is exceptional. My car insurance company booked me with a rental company more than 3 miles away so they wouldn't pick me up. Mission bay collision center was nice enough to give me a ride to go pick up my rental. This is the third time my car has needed repairs and I always bring it to them because they do great work and guarantee it. Could not be more happy. Getting your car fixed can be stressful, but these guys make it so much easier on the customer and for that I am very appreciative. read more

I brought my car here years ago to fix a side mirror and door that has been crushed. Writing a review now because I forgot to back then, and wanted to share how pleasant the experience was. The estimate for fixing my vehicle was more than half of the shop I went to prior, and they finished the job in a very timely manner. The mirror and door were exact fits and the vehicle looked brand new, as if nothing had ever happened! Even the paint job was perfect. Aside from the quality work and great price, the mechanics were incredibly friendly and thorough, and made sure I knew exactly what they would be doing every step of the way. I'll get right to it: MBCC treated me right and took care of me after a pretty bad automobile accident. I'm a GEICO member, and MBCC operates within the GEICO system seamlessly such that all I did was get my car to the shop, and everything else was pretty much set - appraisal, drop off at Enterprise for the rental, then return to shop once the repairs were completed and they dropped off the rental to Enterprise for me. Being in an accident sucks, and MBCC (and GEICO) lessened the overall suck factor by being professional and "on it." I filed my claim online and things went smoothly from there. We have Geico and this shop is close to where we live. I wouldn't recommend. It took them 4 days to just look at our car once we dropped it off for repairs. Poor communication, lots of delays, took 3 weeks to get the car back when originally they said 1 week. Had to take the car back twice for them to fix their repair because it wasn't done right. The worst service I ever had. The owner did not wear face mask while I did and provided confusing and incorrect information.

Aftet having my car over a week just to replace a bumper I noticed the grill and fog lights were not aligned right. Only one side of all was clipped in. Not both sides. And the wires from the dog lights were literally hanging out the bottom of the front bumper. So if I didn't change my oil I wouldn't have noticed til it caught fire or went out. And the clips for the bumper was only held on 4 of about 10 clips it's supposed to have. And to top it off I had to ask before leaving what the scuff mark on my new painted fender was before a worker had to buff it out so I could leave....oh yeah and my subwoofer in the trunk was all dirty and had been whiped with a dirty towel so it dried with dirt swirls all over it. No need to go in the trunk either....not happy at all. And I gave them all the time they asked for so it would be perfect but looks like they tried to put it together last minute read more

If there was a way i could put negative stars on this company i would. I took my classic car there to have a new suspension put in and frame work done and paint last August. They sat on it for a whole year and barely did any work on it. They never contacted me ever with any updates on the car, i was always the one calling them to ask where they were at with my car. At some point, when i called, they didn't even know my car was at their shop. When i would stop by their shop, i saw that my car was tucked in a corner collecting dust and rust. They let the car sit so long that my brand new suspension accumulated rust. Another thing that i noticed was they cracked my windshield and would not acknowledge that it was their fault. They seem to have too many projects going on that they can't keep track of customers cars. I will never be taking any of my vehicles there again. Lastly, i noticed when i brought the car home, that they only painted 1/4th of the frame, when they were supposed to repaint the entire frame. i will say that they did give me a discount only to try to make up for the long "delay" of working on the car. Someone hit our camping van and the insurance told us to take the van to this location. We took the van there and got a quote. The quote was low and the van wouldn't fit in their booth. However we were told they'd have Geico come out to get a new quote and find a solution. After weeks of calling and waiting a different person told us that's not how it works. So after lots of calls and time we didn't even get our van fixed. They had no idea what they were doing. Total waste of time. read more

I dropped off my vehicle to get painted here over two months ago. A month in I had not received ANY update on my vehicle. I went back and saw that they had yet to start. I talked to the guy there (Tim) and he said that their painter had gotten sick. He said that it should be done the following week. A week goes by and nothing. Another week...nothing. Tim goes to tell me that they finally hired a painter and that it would possibly be done by the weekend. I wait and hear nothing. I go back and Tim gives me an excuse on how the painter left after two days but now they have two painters and that it may be done the following week. I asked for my keys to my vehicle and left. They never even touched my car after two months. They never reached out and cared to explain the situation. They waited for me to come in each time and proceeded to lie to me. They have like 10 employees, but yet never touched my vehicle and Tim said it was due to the owner worried about being behind with the insurance companies that they work for. Absolutely don't recommend. Wasted over two months of my time with them and they were aware that I buy and sell cars and that time was of the essence. STAY AWAY read more

My beautiful F350 was sideswiped by a brand new F250 or F350 and they were a hit and run. My greatest fear when the repaint and repair on just one door is being about to see the color difference especially on a specialty color.
