I noticed scratches on my Lexus while washing the car. I immediately requested quotes on Yelp. This place was one of the shops that responded. Larry said he would have to see it to give an accurate quote. I went there the following day to have him check out the car. He said it could be mostly buffed out without a respray! He did mention it won't be 100% since some scratches were too deep. I was surprised by the outcome! I thought for sure it needed to be re-sprayed! I was even quoted up to $2400+ for the respray. I made the mistake of parking in the street near Balboa Park over the weekend. I came back to find the drivers side creased on both front and back doors as someone backed in next to me and hit and run. I went to see Larry at Dent and Scratch Pro and he assessed the damages, told me the repair plan and time, and worked the vehicle into the queue. They did a great job repairing the damage and it is barely ascertainable that any work was done. They touched up the deep scratches and buffed out to match the surrounding paint. I went to this establishment on July 10 to get a quote and received it the same day from someone named Victor. I immediately emailed him back approving the quote and was happy the price was within my budget. Unfortunately, he never responded. I followed up five days later and still no reply. Today, August 18, I called to find out what happened. I was told Victor was just a temporary, one-day worker, and that I would need to come back again to have my car reevaluated. To make matters worse, the guy I spoke with on the phone sounded indifferent and unconcerned about the inconvenience. What an utter waste of time and a clear example of poor management! 4.875 stars. Excellent experience all around. We have had two cars repaired here, a 2019 BMW X3 and, most recently a Tesla Model Y that were both scratched up from a parking lot accident. Larry's prices were fair and he had availability within a couple of days for both of our repairs. Note, we did not have any frame damage or any major damage -- I am unsure if he could fix that, but we were able to get our Tesla's bumper repainted and repaired for about $600 -- good as new! All of the other Tesla approved body shops were booked out for months and months! (What do people do while they wait?!?!) So happy they are honest and do great work. Larry and his workers are literal angels. I had a small fender bender on my bumper and I contacted Larry around 11 AM today. And he was able to quote me within 20 mins and on top of that his quote was about 75% less than other body shops. One company even tried to cut me $1200. But back to Larry.... I got to the shop at 3:12 this afternoon. And I was out by 4 o'clock. What he quoted me over the phone was the same quote that he quoted me in person. My car did not even need paint. My C7 had an unfortunate encounter with a pillar in my parking garage. Read: I scraped the pillar in my garage swapping the cars. Larry was very friendly when I showed up on a Friday afternoon. He offered me two options to repair my Vette: sanding down the scrape, repainting & glossing the area vs. removing the entire front bumper and repainting it. Larry actually recommended the cheaper option as I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I appreciated the recommendation, and I have to say he was correct, you cannot tell where the scrape was in the after photo. I got an estimate on Friday afternoon, and I was able to drop my car off very early on Monday morning and pick it up Tuesday morning. In addition to doing an amazing job on the scrape, Larry was kind enough to dab a spot that was missing paint due to a rock chip.
