None of the therapists gave the type of deep tissue massage that I require to keep me out of pain from my type of work, until I was finally able to get a massage scheduled with Hunter. He was able to give a proper deep tissue focusing mostly on my areas that get the most strained and pinched. I appreciate the relaxing environment, the quaint location with private rooms, and the ease of scheduling appointments online. They also take insurance which is a great find and will bill insurance for you so all you have to worry about is your copay if your insurance covers massage for medical purposes. Anytime I've needed to reschedule it's been very easy and I also appreciate their appointment reminders. Overall it's a pretty solid place with lots of choices for massage therapists, you just have to keep trying new ones until you find the perfect fit.

Due to our careers, we already have chronic back and neck pain and a brilliant masseuse is a critical part of our health maintenance. We found Bill through Yelp and were excited to find someone conveniently located here in North Bend. The business is in a yoga studio that he owns with his wife and it has a nice tranquil atmosphere. The massage room is private and comfortable with low lighting and music. Bill will sit here with you first and review your condition prior to your first massage and he also likes to review a bit at the end as well to discuss how specific stretching and ergonomics may improve how you feel, very helpful! While his massage isn't what we're used to from our conventional masseuse experience, we've found his method to be highly effective! We each see him twice a month and we definitely notice if we skip a session. He doesn't follow the normal massage pattern of doing one side, have you flip, do the other. Bill really gets involved into what is hurting his clients and utilizes massage technique along with active stretching to improve movement and relieve pain. Often he won't have me turn on my stomach at all but has me lay on my side while moving my arms and shoulders to massage and stretch simultaneously. It feels like you're getting the best of both worlds, massage to relieve pain and a physical therapy session to pinpoint limitations! We definitely recommend Bill for massage and if you're looking for yoga, his wife does one on one sessions for people with injuries or needing help with flexibility and there are also a few group classes as well. I went here after getting into a car accident. Drs. It was a very eye-opening experience to see just how traumatic my collision was on my body. From there they took the time to explain how I should deal with my injuries at home (icing times, other exercises and things I could do along the way). They were very careful at first with adjusting me since my body was so sore/damaged. As time went on they increased treatment they would do and gave me advice along the way. They later let me know when I was ready to start physical therapy and gladly provided recommendations to me as well. I was very happy I chose to go here.
