So glad I stopped here today for lunch. I have been looking for a spot like this since I moved to the Oregon Coast 10 years ago. Best Sammy I've had in a very long time. If you're looking for a tasty sandwich in Coos Bay that is made fresh as you wait go here. It's a little market/convenience store that has a deli sandwich option from 10 o'clock until 3 o'clock in the afternoon. When you go in the middle of the market there are a couple of barrels with menus on (and pens) you check want and then put it in the metal tray upside down on the nearby counter They call you when your sandwich is ready. The sandwiches I think are reasonably priced and rather tasty. Attached is a picture of one of the menus. It should be noted. There are three separate menus one for the sandwiches that are posted up on the wall, one for salads, and one for a build your own sandwich. I had a couple of sandwiches and a salad when I was there, and I was very satisfied with both. For Coos Bay, this is really a good place. read more

Bungalow always has drinks/chips that other places don't. The sandwiches are always amazing but don't expect the ladies working to be kind to you. When they're busy, their attitudes are nasty. It's usually real busy during lunch time so be prepared to hang out for a bit! read more

I've lived in Coos Bay for 15 months and every sandwich shop we've tried wasn't as good as our old favorite, Jersey Mike's. Then my friend Jayce told me about Bungalow Market so we gave it a try and were very impressed. I had pastrami on a French roll and the meat was delicious and piled high. The vegetables were fresh and crispy and the roll was soft. The sandwich was so good, I went outside, gobbled it up, then ordered a second sandwich to take home. I also got a large fountain drink for $0.99, which is a great price. I didn't get the guys name but he was moving. He made the sandwiches and cashiered for anyone buying from the market. This place has had a bad rap in the past years. On one of my last visits down I noticed they really fixed this place up. They completely repainted and remodeled, and it looks good. It's a smaller market that's off the beaten path, yet convenient to all those who live in that Sherman Ave area. They have an OK selection of beverages and snacks, perhaps a bit more variety would bump them up to 4 stars, but we need that day to come first. I still pass them up to stop at Ashworth's, but all in all, it's not a terrible mom and pop stop. read more
