Really great experience! Went bungee jumping here for the first time and had a blast. It was definitely a little bit of a drive but through their online portal it was a smooth process signing up. We had a little difficulty getting here, apparently their Google Maps location is incorrect but I believe it's been since fixed because that's how we got there. Their reservation system isn't has rigid as it seems and you can come basically any time. Once you arrive in the lot, a few signs direct you to a path to the bridge. There's never really an official building or welcome center like you would expect with other adrenaline sports (skydiving) so as long as you're following the signs and the employees then you're fine. The walk to the bridge is about a quarter mile walk, where the view opens up to a small bridge. This is basically the operation itself. I'll be honest I was a little unsure at first but the crew and staff are very professional and fun. The waiver was honestly pretty hilarious, it asks you about how your post-mortem would be and if you want an open/closed casket funeral. After all that, they will do a quick safety briefing and order you based on weight class. Because different cords are needed for each weight class, the order you jump is based on your class. Unfortunately somehow I got roped into the first weight class, which I was definitely unprepared for. However, the crew eased me into the ordeal, and I had a pretty decent experience. The first jump is going forward, however once they reel you back up you can opt in for a backwards jump at an additional cost. I didn't, but my girlfriend did and she loved it. I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience with Bungee Masters. I came to Seattle for a work event and wanted to do something adventurous with the extra time I had (flew in a day early). The online booking was seamless and they include very detailed driving instructions to the facility. Once I got there I was pleasantly greeted by a group of dudes who really seem to love their job. I was nervous being a solo female but the staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. I ended up doing two jumps and it was quite literally one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done. One of the employees graciously took photos and video for me. Definitely a memorable event. Please call before you make a deposit and book your reservation. Long story short, I had made my deposit and booked my reservation to jump. Unfortunately The day before my jump, I received a phone call from Joanne letting me know they will not open and had to cancel. I was told it was because I was the only person on that day to reserve a jump. I had let Joanne know that this was something that was really important to me. It was my birthday. I live 3 hours away. I had Scheduled a whole day trip with me and my friends purely surrounded around me jumping. And I had used my vacation time at work for this. I had asked if there is any thing that they could do so that I would be able to jump on the day I reserved. But was told no. Joanne did offer to schedule for another day. But sadly I work 12 hour shifts almost everyday. I am a young working single mother and I don't get to have time to myself often and when I do it is rare. So, sadly I would not have been able to do that. I was so happy and thrilled to celebrate my birthday with this jump, even told a lot of people about it and the business. Only to be disappointed the day before. Joanne did do a refund. But I wish they would make the customers more aware on their website and booking page that this could happen. So please, do not make the same mistake as me. before you get your hopes up, and book on the website. Make the call to confirm other people had booked for that same day as well. Lovely staff! And great experience! My friend and I decided to go for a bungee experience on our Washington state road-trip. This was the place we found. The staff who walked us through the quick-training were very friendly and receptive. They did a great job in explaining what needs to be done to get reeled back up again and how to jump off- all in a timely and precise manner. No extra bs. They are the people you would trust to assist you in (safely) jumping off of a bridge. The experience in itself was very intense! I mean you are quiet literally free falling in the first of it but beautiful sights to enjoy and a peaceful environment to be in regardless. And on a personal level, it was an experience that really was remarkable and much needed to step out of my fears. And then there's the second jump! Which you get a free t-shirt or tank top for completing! There is also a zip lining course at this sight, which I was told is unlike most zip lining courses! The course was initially designed for war vets that wished for a more adventurous activity after coming back from deployment. (One of the zip lines takes you close to the bungee-jumping bridge, so you know you'd be getting a lovely view). This was definitely high on my interest list but sadly the zip lining was booked for the day. Overall amazing experience, and truly great staff that took good care. The bridges made it different from other zip lining courses I've completed, they made for an extra level of scary and fun haha. First impression...bummed....I had a hard time getting ahold of them via phone since their voicemail box was full. Finally when I got around to e-mailing them (which I should have done first) I got a response. YAY!!! Now the actual location where we jumped from was at the base of the Tum Tum Mountain in Washington. It was AMAZINGLY beautiful lush and green out in the forested mountains. But you had to pass MANY creepy, rotten shacks on your way in. We showed up early so I made sure to capitalize on all the photo opportunities in that little town. The most interesting of which, was a little Tum Tum club house that had a purposeful sprinkling of all colors of glass as decoration on the front porch, roof tops, and all down a little creek trickling alongside the building....weird...is that what they do for fun out there??? Then there's the moment...where you walk onto that old rusty bridge and realize the water below is no where NEAR deep enough if the bungee snaps... ...(deep breath) then you sign the release form...on which they ask and I quote "OPEN CASKET OR CREAMATION. CHECK ONE""" AAAAHHHHHH!!!! But really funny. They weigh you three times by three different people. Just in case. If you're off by even a few pounds, you'll either be smacking the bottomside of the bridge, or dipping your head in and counting the fishies ;) Voulinteers??? My sister and I did the zip line Saturday and had so much fun. I hope to go again and again!

The aforementioned bungee location was in Amboy Washington near TumTum (pyramid shaped) mountain. Discussing pricing and setting up a date/time for the jump was the easy part. My boyfriend and I were completely intimidated once we got to the bridge. The rep wasn't joking when he said it was "The highest bungee location in the USA". Its 200 ft off of the ground, and directly above a river. The thrill seeker in you is preparing to dial the number and schedule a jump, I know it. I was 5th in line, and my boyfriend was 6th. I felt so bad for him, until 3 other jumpers showed up and I realized they would have to watch us first. Which was unfortunate for them, because I scream like a girl. Yes, I'm a girl. But that's not the point. My boyfriend and I were comforting each other with cuddles and kisses while we waited to go. They really set this up to be as intimidating as possible. You get your harnesses on, and they go through a safety check. After that, you have to CLIMB OVER THE LEDGE onto a platform which only your feet can fit on. You have to put 10toes over the edge, and extend your arms before the "THREE, TWO, ONE, GO!", and you better believe there's no turning around and climbing back. I did the flying---or falling squirrel. Its 60mph down, and once the cord tugs, its 75mph back up..then you're bouncing around in every direction. I'd post my video, but its totally embarrassing and I won't put you through that. My boyfriend's turn was immediately after. His jump was significantly more awesome, as he yelled "F*** YEAH" when his cord propelled him back into the air. We're so proud of each other. You should just experience it for yourself. This was an incredible experience! I highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in going. Here's my breakdown: Pros: awesome staff! The people there were so nice and patient with all our group. They were professional yet cracking jokes to help us relax and enjoy our experience. There were so many different safety checks and rechecks that you felt very secure and it helped put your fears at ease. The actual experience of jumping off a 200ft bridge was unbelievable and a full on dream come true. We got some photos and videos taken by one of the staff which turned out awesome! It was such a fun experience- I can't say enough good things. Cons: It is a bit of a drive! The road gets windier the closer you get too so if anyone in your group gets motion or car sick, definitely bring some stuff with you. Also- there's no atm on site and they only take cash so you do have to plan a bit beforehand of who is all jumping and how many jumps you'll do. We decided to bungee on 02/11/12. The jump site is actually located in Amboy, Washington.(in the middle of nowhere) We were staying in Portland. Our GPS didnt seem to locate us well up there. Once we reached the site ( we were actually early - this is a first for me) , we where greeted by 2 of the nicest crew members!!!! They were still setting up the lines and equipment (which was a bit scary to watch). About 20 others showed up to jump which was fun! The staff weighed everyone and you jump in groups according to weight as the cords are different per weigh. Therefore all the big guys jumped first... It was totally fun watching everyone jump. The staff made sure that you are harnessed in well and talked you thru each step in the jump, they made sure you were able to re-hook yourself once down hanging 200 feet below. Our wait for the jump was long. We were there at 1pm and didn't jump until almost 4 but other than that it was a great experience. The staff were all friendly and welcomed our group. I wasn't as scared as I thought I would be, the bridge didn't look as high in person but still intimidating. The venue where the bridge is located at is amazing and makes the jump even more of a great experience. I would recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a good thrill. I would have a video of our jumps to show like I do every review I write but my friend drop the Gopro. Memories capture only left at the bottom of a bridge. I would say that was the only bad part of our jump, losing the gopro. Waiting for our jump wasn't bad, it just gave us time to decide if we should jump or not and I'm glad we all did. read more

I'm on a trip to Oregon for a week for my birthday and at the hotel I saw one of the cards for this place. I've been waiting to go bungee jumping till I had some great scenery, and after looking at that card, and their website, I decided this was it. I made my reservation online yesterday and drove 2 hours to Amboy Washington today so I could go jump off a perfectly good bridge (smart right?). We got down to the bridge and there were a few other people getting on their gear and jumping. After watching for a couple minutes I was greeted by Matt, who gave me a form to fill out, weighed me and proceeded to get my gear on. He started off with taking me to the edge of the bridge to watch someone jump and told me to just get that part out of the way. He explained this jump is 200ft off the ground, the biggest bungee jump in the U.S, and I'd be going down at 60mph, and back up at about 75mph. As he said, I was going to be doing the biggest jump I could, Go big or go home right? He spent a few minutes explaining the gear, how to jump, and how to get back onto the bridge. He also explained how to do the backwards jump, if I decided to jump twice (that came in handy). After going through that, it was my turn. They checked my gear twice and sent me to climb over the bridge rail. I turn around, put my arms out and they gave me a quick 1 2 3 and I was flying. Best. Feeling. Ever. So of course, when they're pulling me back up and they ask me if I was feeling a second jump, my answer is going to be 'Hell Yes'. Set me up, leaned back and jumped again. Welcome to the Dangerous Sports Club kid. Complete with a shirt and everything. The whole staff was great, very nice, welcoming, and they give off a great vibe. Loved the humor and jokes being thrown around during the instruction to make you loosen up. Next time I'm even so much as 1 state away again, you bet I will be taking a drive to go jump again. This was a great experience for me! The reason for the 3 star is do to the way my fiancé was treated. To be honest she is a wuss and it took some coaxing to get her to go, she was very nervous but she sucked it up and crawled out on the platform. It was obvious that she was shaken, then a guy that I hadn't seen before came form nowhere and started talking down to her telling her to get back in, obviously your not going to jump and they don't have time for this(at this point we were the only people there, others did show up a little later), take off the harness, etc. When she told him that he was being forceful and making it worse he chuckled at her. He Was very discouraging, rude, forceful and negative. I assume he was the owner or the boss because no one spoke up when you could see that everyone was kinda unhappy with his attitude. The rest of the crew was amazing and full of support and encouragement. The crew told her to keep the harness on and would give her a second chance, with out him around she was able to make the jump! So in my opinion if you nervous or scared I would use a different service only do to him. read more
