I'm surprise this business doesn't get many Yelp reviews and was concerned at first but if you look at their Instagram as well as other online reviews, you can actually see a lot of media outlet praising these guys. Let me start off that this experience is for the bungee jump. If you google their address it will take you there directly. My girlfriend and I arrived early for our 12:30pm slot. We parked our car at the lot on the right and entered the black gate on the left. With a 1/4 mile walk, we got to the bridge and we're greeted and started off immediately. The crew were very tedious in checking their equipment even saying out loud to confirm each of their checklist. You have the option of doing a running jump or just the basic jump. For this trip, we opted of 2 jumps each(one forward one backward). They take a slow motion video of you jumping backwards for no charge! They allow your partner to record you on the corner as well. Overall these guys are serious about your safety and are also fun from beginning to end. Also there are perks for doing 2 jumps - it's cheaper, more fun, get a free T-shirt and half off on your future bungee jumps!

Fun time with amazing views. I would highly suggest it if you like zip lining. 8 Zip lines with a few longer ones. Ends with you zipping across a canyons which is spectacular. At the end, you stop at a spot where they do bungee jumping. Fun to at least stop and watch!

There is a pre-party before the race where you can throw some powder around, get some food, but in the daylight it did not seem like much fun. There is a long line for the start of the race but they let waves through every few minutes. It is an untimed race, basically just for fun. There are only a couple of blacklight stations where they throw the powder(cornstarch) on you. This is a huge bottleneck and runners get backed up. Some people just go around because it might not be worth it. When you run through the stations make sure to close your eyes because it may get into your eyes. I was right next to the person throwing the powder and got it all in my face and eyes. The 5K run wasn't too challenging and it was fun only because of my friends. After you finish you can get some more packets of the powder to throw on yourself and there is an after party with a concert and people dancing. Make sure to park in the back because it will be tough to get out. Overall, it was a fun experience but not something I would do again.

They were sprinkling it on each person, causing a huge bottleneck. The pre-party was kind of lame. There was only one food cart and one beverage (non-alcoholic) plus the cheesy beer garden. The Electric Run and Color Me Rad are by far better events. I suppose if you had never done an event like this, you wouldn't have anything to compare it to, so you may think it was okay. But I won't be doing another one of these!

He thought it might be the site of an old antique train trestle that might have been on his parents' property years ago. Sadly it was not, but it was still worth the trip to see the camp. The property is owned by the Salvation Army and used to bring urban children out into forest and get a feeling for camping for a week or so. Being a former camp counselor (Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp) in Rhododendron, I really enjoyed talking with the camp director. So many similar experiences. The TriMet bus stop was right at the camp entrance. The camp had a good sturdy road, but I think it descended at least 1/2 mile, but as we walked down. the magic happened with the sounds of nature taking over. Butter flies and birds flickered, the river ran, and all the small forest critters were busy on their errands; almost in a Disneyesque manner. I'm not sure of statistics, but I feel pretty sure they can fit in a large number of campers in during summer sessions. The buildings are very handsome and look brand new which is very much to the camp directors and their staff's credit. After a very pleasant time, we did have to leave. The camp director and her husband (co-camp director) were kind enough to drive us back up to the bus stop. The Salvation Army is doing some outstanding work here along with their directors and staff. We felt the easy warmth of all we interacted with and walked away with happy thoughts of the time spent with these fine people.
