Two bungee jumps in a row for $140? I'm SO in. We all have that friend (or are that friend) that's constantly looking for the next adrenaline rush. Extreme amusement park rides, skydiving, motorcycling standing on the seat (okay, I made the standing part up) -- I'm always down. Camping somewhat nearby, we head down to Amboy, WA to bungee over the scenic river. Details: Have cash on-hand, and call or make reservations online (if you have phone reception); keep in mind that this area is a dead zone so you'll want to know what you're doing before you get there. I would recommend screenshots of how to get there in case your phone loses reception or your NAV is spotty. NOTE: if you have spectators, there's a $10 spectatin' fee. Once you've made your reservation, head to their location and park your car. You'll be hoofing it about a 1/2 mile from there. Close by, there's a tall Game of Thrones-esque wood gate that you'll walk through. We squeezed in past the loosely chained door. BONUS: They're building ziplines if you're into that too! There was an enormous line when we arrived. Depending on how busy their time slots get, they'll stay open later than their posted hours. We watched excited and nervous people anxiously await their turn plummeting over the bridge rail. The staff here are TOP-NOTCH. I had brought my large dog with me and shade wasn't readily available so they let me stand with her on the side of the truck that powers the cinch for the bungee. Everybody was so awesome. After you've signed your life away and are outfitted with the harness, it's your turn. I chose front-facing my first jump and backwards-facing for my second. Stepping out on the small platform is my favorite part of bungee. There's nothing between you and the ground below but for the teeny plate you stand on. That wonderful split-second when you leap off is amazing (bouncing around on the line after is fun too.) For your bravery, you get a t-shirt and a frequent jumper card which can be used at their other bungee locations. Check them out!

I wanted the highest, longest zip line I could find nestled among the forest and this did not disappoint. Andy and Bryson did a great job of keeping us safe while also making the trip really fun for everyone. The ziplines themselves were great, especially the last 2 which take you over a gorge with rapids below. Amazing ride with a great view! We passed by a few of the other zip line places that I considered during our trip and I'm glad we chose this one; the others looked pretty lame in comparison (based on what I saw from the road). If you take the trip, note that there is no outpost. You enter the forest at the edge of a small, gravel parking lot with a couple containers at the end (which contain the gear). I thought I was in the wrong place at first! But it makes for an even better experience, in my opinion, because you spend the whole time in the forest. I highly recommend this experience.
