So I've been looking forward to this brewery for awhile. My husband and I finally had the opportunity this evening to venture out here. It was ok. I'll preface this by saying just prior we went Io a beer bar that had amazing brews from all over the country and it might not be fair to compare a local place to that. The Hefeweizen was nice. I also liked the kolsch. Both sours were ehh. The IPA's were okay to me. My husband was a no go on both dipas but thought the single was fine. A little green. We both really liked the cherry vanilla seltzer which wasn't something we originally even planned to try. It tasted like real cherries with vanilla vs the sugared stuff we'd expected. I'd say this is good for a local hang, but not a destination brewery. That said they are still pretty young, so who knows what is to come. read more

Burke/Fairfax needs more places like this!! Such a cool vibe, love the self pour system which is awesome to try lots of different beers without committing to an entire pour. All the beers were fantastic! We especially enjoyed the #11 hazy IPA. They have hard seltzer's which are awesome as well. The owner and all staff were friendly and attentive. If I had one complaint it would be the set up is a little cramped with the register being right next to the tap area. Also some background music would be a nice touch. 4/5, multiple visits, 2021 - present. We had this brewery recommended by some friends and finally got a chance to check it out. They have done a great job of optimizing their indoor and outdoor space. The beer is self-serve through the commonly used card system. The beer feels like it's a bit of a work in progress but still better than many more established breweries. I particularly liked some of their stouts. They are doing a good job of rotating taps while keeping a selection of good beers available. I can't wait to see this place progress and we will definitely be back. At long last, a local brewery opens up. The location is great-- in a light industry area off of Guinea road. Parking was ample on a crowded night. Bunny man uses a unique tap system that sells by volume. Customers put a card on file and are handed a card that is their digital tab. Put the tab card in the reader and the tap system adds how much you actually poured on your tab cards. There is no wait staff. You can pour a sampler, a small glass, a pint, even a bucket, and as long as you pay for it when you return your card. I tried everything on the beer menu and really like the barley wine, vanilla stout and ginger Kampucha. Highly recommended this is just what this neighborhood needs. read more

Fantastic new brewery and dog friendly in the outdoor seating area. The English ale was solid and the rose kombucha was fantastic! You pour your own beer with a card system. It's a nice way to sample a little of everything because they charge you by the ounce so can do a very small pour. We came on Saturday evening and missed the food truck, however we noticed others had brought their own food with no issues. This area really needed a brewery and we will be back soon! read more

Great atmosphere. This was our first time here so we didn't really know what to expect. There were many options to choose from and it was great to be able to pour the exact amount we wanted. There were only 2 sours on draft which I was a little disappointed in but other than that it was great! They had a very large outdoor area that would be great for when it cools down outside. read more

Came here Friday around four for a quick couple of drinks and to check it out! First-I imagine parking will be a problem as we went towards the building and found none (ended up snagging one towards the front of the parking lot as you enter-next to a big karate bus). We walked down to the entrance and the outdoor seating was popping already (despite the relatively high humidity). We went inside and we're surprised how big the inside was (there's even an upstairs); this place was popping! We waited in line (which moved quickly with one employee helping at the computers and one with a handheld). The employee who helped us was incredibly kind/friendly; she explained everything (just like wine bars-only pay per ounce what you pour yourself). I interrupted her to ask about the COVID policy of reusing your glass (this is disgusting in general; but during a pandemic is just rude). She knew immediately who I was discussing (yes you-man in the red shirt). She immediately excused herself and wiped all the pour stations down and then came back to tell us that the man had been wanted multiple times (not sure why you can't just kick them out after repeated breaking of these rules). We quickly grabbed a taster flight and taster glasses and went to work to grab a few to try. We found some seats near the door and sat down to try our brews. My wife found the peanut butter stout surprisingly delicious and I found one of the fruity seltzer's (can't remember the exact makeup) delicious. We went back to grab glasses of each and even got some food from the tater tots truck. This was a fun midday getaway for us; there isn't tons of space and not sure how kid friendly it is; unless your kids manage to stay at your table and self-entertain. (Only mention this as some other places have a "kid area") Would love to see this continue to grow, have ample parking, and keep up the fun merchandise! read more

Bunny man Brewing is new and is located at the shopping center at the bottom of Zion Street. You need to work you was around, but it pretty easy to find. Parting is little bit difficult because of shape of the mall. But once you are in, you will find that it is an automatic bar. First, you give your credit card to the server, they apply to a magnetic card and you are good for the night. They have a wide array beers for you to choose from, lots of TVs, and bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor seating and multiple levels. It is very busy, but they are less busy on Saturday. read more

Tucked in the back of an industrial park lies Bunnyman brewing the latest addition to Fairfax breweries. They sport an outside patio and double decker indoor tasting room. Taps line a wall on the lower floor and you pour your own, paying by the ounce. It's a convenient approach but doesn't lend to asking questions about the beers. Food is provided by a food truck near the entrance. The place was pretty lively on the day we were there as the upstairs was full and the bottom was near full, with football playing on all the TV's. It was too cold for anyone to be out on the patio, and there's not much to look at from said patio other than the desperate parking situation. read more

Just came back from my visit there. Very friendly and helpful staff! The beer is certainly satisfactory and I trust they have more creativity coming up in the near future. The location is a bit tricky at first, but once you find it, you won't forget it. Only reason I'm not doing the full on 5/5, the self pour system. Some people really seem to like it, I'm not one of them. I prefer to have some quick small talk with a friendly bartender and tell them what I'd like have poured by them. However, it wouldn't prevent me from coming back. The silver lining with the self pour system though is, the beer is better than "Oh No" Brewing. read more

Been here 3 times now. Honestly it gets 4 stars for being a place that you can pour your own beer. I don't have to wait on a server (which are usually terrible let's be honest) and it has a pretty nice outdoor/indoor area. The beer is pretty good, it's nothing special but again I love being able to pour a single beer or flights myself. They don't really serve food (there is a rotating food truck) which I think is a mistake by them. The food trucks are really hit or miss. read more

Great selection of beer with pour your own taps so you can get creative with some mixes (ie. Radler) if that is your thing. Always a large selection of stouts, IPAs, seltzers and other selections to choose from. Big open area to sit with lots of outdoor seating to hangout on a nice day. A random food truck is almost always there (just check their fb page for schedule) though they also permit bringing in food from outside.. my favorite nearby is Taco Bamba! read more

Its two levels (never been upstairs but looks like more seating and they hold private events there). The beer is self service (you get a card and put it in the slot which is how they calculate at the end how much). There is a food truck outside. And there are picnic tables and corn hole outside. Kid friendly and dog friendly. There is a decent amount of parking, but it is a small walk because you don't park directly outside. read more

The IPAs are OK , the ESB is subpar and the Stout that I tried was just OK. The reason for the 2 stars rather than 3 is that this place is expensive! The beer is self service and you pay by the ounce from a computerized tap system which is great for sampling but if you decide on a beer and you get a 16oz pour it will cost you around $8. read more

Got to come here for their opening and I was really happy with the selection. We got two flights and it was only around $20. They have a great system where when you open a tab, they give you a card which you put over the tap and you pour it yourself. you know exactly how much each pour is and there's no way of overcharging or under-pouring because you were the one who did it. They don't sell food but they have plans for food trucks to frequent. When I went, people had brought their own food and no one was complaining. I love IPAs and they had like four of them. All of the beers I tried were delicious, and if you don't like beer they had hard seltzer and kombucha that were also good (we tried everything). Overall I'm very happy this place opened, I have followed their journey on Facebook for a year now and the Burke/Fairfax area was in desperate need of a place like this, as evidenced by the large (and I mean LARGE) crowd on their first day. read more

This place is awesome! The set up with the purchase cards makes it so easy. The bathrooms are immaculate! We went to watch CFB and they let us stay just a few minutes after closing (we did NOT buy any additional alcohol after closing)so we could get to halftime of our game. Good old fashioned customer service goes a long way and these guys have nailed it! I even bought a shirt because they were so great. read more
