Oh my goodness! I just had the best massage I've had in decades at a hidden gem in my neighborhood called Bunya Tree Spa. I was skeptical because it's located in a house, but once you get in you'll understand that it's a whole place of business. I got the 90 min Thai Massage. It was amazing! She kneeded the kinks out of me, and stretched my limbs out so well I cried. I made another appt. for two weeks from now. You also get a short foot scrub when you enter with oranges and lemons and a hot tea. Definitely recommend. June was my masseuse and she's so pleasant and understanding. read more

I've now had two fantastic massages at this little oasis by June. Both times I came in with tightness and knots so bad that I was having trouble even just turning my head, but June was able to work wonders and got me back to normal! She is great at finding the exact trigger points and working them out. My fiancé surprised me with a deep tissue massage at Bunya Tree Spa and it was a surprise driving up to what looked like a home, but don't let that fool you. I had what I would describe as one of the best massages I have ever had! The experience started with a relaxing foot soak while sipping some DELICIOUS tea. Followed by a really spectacular deep tissue massage. Somehow the masseuse was able to balance deep tissue with slow precise movements that left me relaxed. I hold lots of tension in my neck and they were able to massage and release tension that I had never experienced before. I highly recommend a deep tissue massage here. I just did the 2 hour Thai Signature Massage and it was amazing! Everything June did was focused and with intention. There were nice touches throughout, including a foot soak and heating pads. I recently went back to Bunya after a great first experience there. This time I opted for a deep tissue massage due to some hip pain. Once again I had June as my massage therapist. The whole experience was just delightful! Throughout the massage, June would place heated pads that were filled with what I believe was buckwheat on the areas she wasn't currently working on, and the massage itself was excellent! I found Bunya Tree Spa online and was impressed by the number of excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment during a weekday and June was able to fit me in right away. I let her know I was experiencing pain in my right leg at my lower back, glute, hip, IT band and knee due to running. She recommended a Thai massage which proved to be exactly what my body needed. I was super tight in the areas mentioned and she took her time applying very firm yet gentle pressure for 90 minutes. June was so welcoming, the massage was relaxing and just what I needed. She started with a foot bath and scrub. I got the custom massage, I believe that was the title; part deep tissue part Thai. Pressure was firm, temperature in the room was cozy despite the cold weather today. I love the stretching and Thai techniques, the oil she used smelled amazing, there were hot stones and a heating pad that was weighted on my shoulders at one point. I got a wonderful 90 minute prenatal massage from June yesterday. My body has been so exhausted and sensitive through the early pregnancy transition, but June was able to put my body in a super supportive position that avoided any nausea, etc. I actually fell asleep at one point! I just had an absolutely wonderful massage here. The spa is in a home that is beautiful and clean. It started with a nice foot soak in the lovely foyer and I then had an hour deep tissue massage and a half hour scalp massage. Heavenly! The deep tissue massage got really deep into some knots and felt fantastic. The scalp massage involved warm oil that just melted tension away.
