Cute Italian cafe in south of fifth neighborhood, we stopped in for a quick espresso after lunch and there was a line (must be good!). We quickly placed our order and checked out all the wines and goodies for sale on the side. I would come back to try their sandwiches and salads. Also there is a special on Wednesday's for $35 bottle of wine and antipasti!

Yummy and cute! Amazing food and service. Very authentic Italian. Nice market inside. Great for any meal. Local joint in SoFi. Super awesome. Cute outside. You must come here!

Everything is tasty, great atmosphere and the service is nice, BUT: They use unfair, sneaky and illegal billing practices. Today I discovered some pretty sucky billing practices that made me changed my mind about coming back here: 1. They bill their built-in 20% Tip on a GROCERY ITEM (olive oil in my case). That's just illegal. 2. They charged 50% more the cost of a little toast ($12 instead of $8) when asked to substitute the Ham with hard boiled egg. The waitress did not mention the extra $4 charge when she took the order with my request to Substitute. 3. They charged $1.5 extra when asked to put a splash of oat milk in my double espresso, taking the cost from $4.25 to $5.75. Again, no mention to that when taking the order. All in - feeling of sneaky shady practices. Not trustworthy when it comes to the bill or food.

We passed this café a couple of times before deciding to go in. Parking was a bit scarce especially on a busy Sunday morning. Breakfast was well underway and the brunch crowd was beginning to stir. We found a good parking spot around the corner that wasn't too far away. There are a few tables lining the street mixed in with a couple high-tops to choose from. My first choice was the high-top at the very end in front of the door but my husband wanted to dine inside. We seated ourselves and were greeted right away. The inside of the café has a few tables. The tables are set very close together so be prepared to dine with others who are not in your party. It's intimate, cozy, and family-friendly. They sell wine by the bottle and offer a decent size alcohol menu. They also sell grocery items such as pastas, coffee, jarred truffles. I ordered a croissant with butter and was I was given a side of jam to try. It was tasty. Not too sweet and not overbearing with artificial flavoring. The croissant was buttery and crispy, just the way I like it. And, my mimosa was delicious!!!

I hate to write a review for this place because I don't want anyone to find out about it. They only have like 10 tables and half are outside. The best lasagna in SoBe! At a affordable price which is hard to find in this town. Wine Happy Hour is the best! The one waiter is pleasant and efficient. Don't tell anyone.

I love Lincoln Road and all of its art deco architecture so it was fun to take a little road trip to check out the market in one of my favorite Miami locales. Lincoln Road is a historic road in South Beach with restaurants and shops. It is closed to cars so you have to find parking on one of the side streets or at one of the city lots nearby. We lucked out with parking but Waze sent me off to the market in the wrong direction. If it wasn't so hot out I would have really enjoyed the extra exploration of Lincoln Road. Eventually we got turned around in the right direction and found the market next to a vintage market that was also being held. That is the thing you can really love about Lincoln Road, there is always something going on. Once we finally found the market it was a greatest hits of some of the best local prepared food vendors in the area. These are the folks who don't have a brick and mortar location so you follow them on Facebook or Instagram to see where they will pop up. We ran into our friends from Sinabuns who we last saw at Dessert Wars at the airport convention center. Also on hand was Better Than Your Mother's who makes cookies so decadent that they are laced with edible gold. She kindly gave us a sample of the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten. I Knead More was selling outrageously delicious guava and cheese babka but I was most excited to find a booth selling four medium stone crab claws for $17. Stone crab claws are God's Christmas present to Floridians. Yes they are expensive but they are so succulent and sweet and only here for a short time. I bought a box and dug in with my friend. An extravagance befitting the holidays. The market even had a booth where you could scan a QR code and enter online to try and win tickets to the SOBE Food and Wine festival. Tickets run from the $100 and up price range per event so wish me luck. This market was a nice way to support local businesses and get everyone excited about the upcoming festival. I am so glad I had a chance to check it out.

The line to order inside was incredibly long, so our group downloaded the app and ordered there instead, although creating an account required quite a bit of information. In fact, myself and my girlfriend were eating from there at least 2 times a week. No other restaurant has ever remotely rivaled my patronage on such a level. With that said, my "go too" had been the Kale Caesar Salad. Suddenly, as restaurants do, they changed it to a kale and romaine salad and completely changed the dressing. What a huge disappointment and after giving it a few try's, I'm done with the new Caesar. My frequency has dropped down to maybe once every couple of weeks.
