This company built a shoddy horrible looking fence on my property. Left lots of remnants of my old fence that were meant to be removed. One side won't close now(concete/wood settled?) the cheap wire that they use on the fence is so flimsy and thin my dog chews through it. Cheap wood is warped in spots. Overall just a horrible way to spend a thousand bucks. I do not recommend. Upon further investigation I have found other people with similar experiences and even a guy who Claims the owner "Robert Estes burch" (Google that name)ripped him off $1300. We bought a home in the summer of 2015. We wanted to get a fence up asap and had Burcor out for a quote in June. We were impressed with the salesman, but that's where it ends. When the fence was finally built in late September we were completely unimpressed. The vinyl wire they used is tore in several spots from being pulled too tight when installed. There were lots of nails coming out of the posts the day it was built and never corrected, along with multiple posts set in the concrete crooked. The installers were unprofessional. We called after inspecting it and guess what? No return call after multiple attempts. We even tried reaching the man who sold it to us initially. 2,100 wasted. read more

Well it started out great anyway...... VERY nice people own this company. Communication was good, even personal texting about our/their dogs, including pix. Very personal & enjoyed that very much. Pricing comparable to others; all ok there. Scheduling "began" in April - we were not in a rush yet as we were waiting on dirt to fill in some back yard areas but by May it went downhill fast. I could never get a firm answer on even a tentative date. I was understanding about weather putting them behind.... but a MONTH??? The the last time I asked for an update & to be penciled in - NO reply. It's like the vanished. So we went with another company who felt bad for us, jumped through hoops & had us on the schedule & done in less than two weeks. read more

Is Burcor Fencing and Burcor1 Fencing one and the same both from Florence Ky, I think they are the same especially when I read the comments. It is a shame because they sounded so nice and got here so fast to get it done. All good con men and women have a way of making you believe. The fence looked nice but after several days it you start to notice things. They even asked me to check the fence posts and put tape around the one that needed fixed, they missed concrete in 3 of them and they are starting to lean. The tape is still there 7 months later and 2 of my gates will not close properly. Just don't do it...I am guessing they ripped off so many people they had to shut done Burcor1 and started Burcor Their warranty means nothing, their promise means nothing. August 9th 2019. Filled out the Burcor free estimate form. Never heard back from anyone. Called a month or so later to schedule an appt. The guy who answer took down all my information after having to repeat it to him a few times as he sounded like he was very disorganized and uninterested in taking the info. Told me he would be out on said date to give me the estimate. Day of appt, no show. Called and the receptionist said they were sorry but they didn't have a call back number to let me know the appt was cancelled as he had a family emergency. I told them i know he took down all my info and that they were definitely not the company I wanted doing the job. Avoid this company they can't even take down your info right or call you back!!!! read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone!! They came out to give me an estimate on 6/3/19 and have yet to get my estimate emailed to me as of 6/13/19 when I was told I'd get it within 2 days. I have called and spoke with the office person at least 4 times and there is always an excuse as to why they haven't sent the estimate to me. (I misplaced the guys business card that came out to meet me.) The receptionist won't give me his number?? I finally got her to at least give me the cost yesterday and it was twice the amount that R&M Fence gave me!! Even if they came in lower than R & M - I certainly would not give them the business at this point! read more

I'd like to spare my friends/family the frustration of dealing with Burcor fencing. It started two years ago when two of our neighbors had the vinyl/pvc fencing put up. Very nice but also very pricey. My husband and I talked it over, saved and finally decided to reach out for an estimate. The sales man was friendly and we got our estimate a few days later. My husband and I needed to then figure out if we wanted to pay $5k for the entire yard (minus one completed/shared side with neighbor) or close to $3k for a single side row and a gate. $3k was enough and it was coming right from our bank account so we decided on the latter. I submitted my signed contract on May 7th. I was told 3wks from install by the sales rep. I waited 4 days for a response and didn't get one. On the 11th the President, Jeff Burch responded with no apology for the delay and said he would try to get my fence scheduled for the next week. I appreciated the quick turn around from the original 3wk timeframe but went with his response. No show that next week. No email. No phone call. Three weeks later, when I'd actually already have the fence installed, I reached out. May 31st I said I would like to cancel and had read the terms. There is absolutely no excuse for not sending any type of communication. The response I received? We ordered the wrong material, but I will schedule you for next week. Wrong material?! I mean, it was in the contract but cool...people make mistakes. But ZERO form of communication?! Not cool. And when you finally reply, again...no apology?! I mean, $3k might not seem like much to them...but it's a lot to me. So I respond and give them one last shot. Now FOUR weeks after signing. I give them the next week that they promised (this past week- wk of June 3rd). Would you believe they were a no show?! Again, no call...no email...no anything. I sent an email this past Friday (I gave them the whole week to show) and said cancel our plans. It's now Tuesday and they still don't have the decency to apologize for all the time I've wasted on their TERRIBLE company. Do not use Burcor! read more

When Burcor replaced our existing fence, they left a gap at the bottom large enough for our 82-lb golden retriever to slither under without doing any kind of digging. Repeated calls and emails asking them to fix the problem got no results. I contacted the Better Business Bureau, and they also got no response. I finally had to hire another fence company to fix the problem Burcor caused. If you expect any customer service, look elsewhere. read more

Recently built on a new property and needed the existing front fence replace and a new deer deterring fence in the back yard to protect fruit trees. We went to 3 different contractors in the area for bids and were disappointed with the ability to customize, originality, and personal time taken to talk and listen to the customer. Sasha was the saleswoman for Burcor and was a pleasure to work with. Jeff, the manager was also excellent and accommodating. We had a special request for the back yard fence that was a bit out of the ordinary and they were the oly company to work with us. They were also the best price! The only issue we had with Burcor was delays in responses to detailed questions we had but we were asking them to go outside the norm on our design and it may have been a busy time. The onsite team was personable an very neat and non-destructive to the yard which was a real bonus! Materials and work were very good. Overall we are very happy with Burcor! read more

Nothing but issues and poor customer service! The timeframes given were always off by days/weeks. The first time the fence was put in the posts were put in the wrong place, despite multiple conversations on where they go beforehand. Once the fence was fixed, it did not last long before an entire side started to come down. The posts on this side had very little concrete placed on each posts and were done poorly. After trying to get someone to come out multiple times, we finally had someone come and admit the posts did not look correct and they would redo that side. After being told different dates that it would be complete, it was finally taken done and redone. At this point they left all of the old wood and trash in our front yard. I was told multiple times that it would be picked up in the next day or so and it wasn't. Finally I called today and was once again told this Monday they would come. I was upset and said it needed to be today like they had said and was told by customer service that she didn't understand why I was so difficult, they gave us a free fence, and that I had not talked to her previously. I didn't know that I could only speak to certain people, apparently, why do others answer the phone if they cannot assist. Calling me difficult after everything they have put us through has just been the icing on the cake. We will never go through them again and will make sure to let everyone know how horrible they are. read more

If you are looking for a fencing company KEEP LOOKING!!! This company was nothing but a complete hassle. The easiest part was signing the contract that bound me to this incompetent company. They originally told me my fence would be installed within 2 weeks and in the end my fence was installed 1 and 1/2 months after the contract was signed. There was delay after delay and excuses that didn't add up. Came to find out that the reason my fence installation was taking so long was because the workers had begun installation at the wrong address!!! At no time did the company honestly tell me what was going on and the only time they were quick and reliable was when it was time for payment. Very unsatisfied with this company and the finished product. Trust me spend a little extra and go with someone else it will be well worth it. I wish I had.
