I got lunch takeout from Burgatory the other day for myself and hubby. I ordered on the website and when i arrived lunch was ready. Hubby ordered a 'Meat Your Maker' with wagu, onion crisps, swiss, greens, tomato and truffle aoili. True decadence in every bite. I ordered 'Phat Patti's Veggie'. Burgatory made their own veggie patty.Per their description, they used ancient grains, mushrooms, cashews and other secret ingredients... i think they added lentils and black beans. Absolutely beautifully done. The avocado, gouda cheese and tomato was creamy and savory. The side salad of spring mix was light and crunchy. All very well balanced for a delightful lunch.

So full disclosure, I've never eaten at a Burgatory. I typically don't get a burger out but have had a gift card for forever and decided to use it. My youngest son and I ventured off to Burgatory. We arrived around 5:00 on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy and we were seated quickly. He had a Cookie Monster milkshake and I had an IC Light draft. He opted for the basic burger and I had a bacon burger. We split an order of fries and our burgers came with chips. I had asked for bbq sauce on my burger (which I think they forgot). Burger was very tasty and cooked as requested. Chips were good. I didn't care for the fries. Not the flavor I was expecting. My son enjoyed his milkshake and burger. Our server was attentive and friendly. Restaurant appeared clean. Two burgers, fries, and a milkshake was $42.00. I don't typically go out for burgers but I would return to Burgatory. It was a quality experience.

Customizable burgers is always preferred for me when going to a burger joint, so I dig this place a lot. You have the option of ordering straight from the menu and have their specialty burgers or you can customize to your liking and they have plenty of options to choose from. Even American Wagyu! Also their in-house potato chips are pretty solid. I haven't had anything like that in a long time, so it was nice to get that along with my burger vs fries. Staff was very accommodating with our large group. Got one of the orders wrong unfortunately, but that happens with big parties. Stellar job still other than that one mistake. Food tasted great to be honest. A bit messy, but that's what you get for a custom burger. Plenty of TV's in the restaurant if you're looking to watch a sports game since it has that American sports bar kind of vibe. Superbowl was just about to start when we went in, so we got to watch that a bit. Go sports! I think the restaurant and food were pretty good. No real complaints for this place, so go check it out!

Don't pass up this place!!! Ordered that piggy peanut butter burger which was so juicy and just simply amazing. The burger's jelly wasn't overly sweet and neither was the candied bacon. It had the perfect flavors that complimented each other. If you're a fan of the runny ranch, you'll want a side of that for the fries. I'm normally partial to thicker homemade ranch, but it had great flavor and I'm soo glad I ordered it!

I stopped by Burgatory with a friend on a hot summer day to grab a milkshake. We went straight to the bar, and after looking over all the tempting options, I decided on the Nutella Crunch shake. It was rich and sweet, with distinct Nutella and Crunch bar flavors. I liked that they left small bits of chocolate in the shake, which added a nice texture. A pleasant surprise was the extra tin they gave us with the leftover shake that didn't fit in the glass. The amount in the tin was about half the size of the milkshake glass! Overall I definitely got more than I was expecting and will definitely go back to try the other milkshake flavors.

I've now gone here twice, and all I can say is... this place is awesome. Surprise! The kids meals come with a free ice cream float - it is now my kids #1 request for places to go for dinner. They also come with carrots & ranch. There are endless options for adult burgers... elk, bison, vegan cashew, wagyu, etc. with any topping you can imagine. You won't be disappointed. Go!

I've only ever had burgatory togo so I was excited to try it fresh. Location was busy but we luckily didn't have to wait. Our server was nice and efficient. I ordered the coffee spiked milkshake. So good but fair warning it's THICK! For my entree I'm a weirdo and got the nachos instead of a burger. They were delicious, I loved the sauce. It was super loud and the table set up is a little odd but we had a great time!

Service very fast, good music. Good. Just good. Creamy delectable shakes My burger had the Cajun rub, and the dry aged wagyu. Juicy meat. Cheesy and very good bacon.

Visited the Burgatory location in Pittsburgh near Robinson Mall. It's located in strip mall by Walmart and few other food spots. Plenty free parking. Easy to find in the plaza. Let me say I really wanted a salad but when in Burgatory...a burger is a must. Our waiter was cool. She explained the whole menu and offered suggestions. We tried the Wicked Wings. So if you like slightly spicy wings with a dry rub with drizzle of honey then this is the wing for you. The heat sneaks up on you. They were really good wings. Cooked just right with right amount of crispness. So good that we got a 2nd order of the wings. Very good. I ordered the Rye Do Not Both. It's their take on an Old Fashioned but with Bulliet Rye and Bulliet Straight Bourbon. I must admit the drink was just okay. I was expecting it to be a bit stronger. I love my Whiskeys and even more my Bourbons being a KY girl born and raised. I would try something else. The sangria was a popular drink but I wanted something more. I completed the custom burger form. I could have went with a classic on the menu but opted not. I did the brioche bun, hormone free beef, white American cheese, dill pickles, romaine, and tomatoes with salt and herb fries and think naughty sauce on the side. He said the naughty sauce was like big Mac sauce. It was not. Tasted nothing like it. The burger was a little dry. They make the patty so thick I think that impacts how moist the burger turns out. The fries were really good. I would give them 3.5 if I could. Service was good. Decent price. Good wings. I think I would get my salad next go round. And let me say the fries were good cold later. Lol. I was too lazy to go downstairs to warm them up.

This is a typical chain/franchise restaurant. It's reliably pretty good. The prices aren't bad. The kids who wait on you are very nice.

Always packed, always impressive array of beer (one of the best breweries in region, IMO), and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The site is so vast, there's never a shortage of seating, you just need to do a little bit of exploration to find a spot, but there's fun in that. Still trying to get to the upper command level - might need to head there during non-peak hours. Oh, I forgot to mention that each day/week there are a handful of beers and drinks that are super reasonably discounted - incredibly appreciated in the economic hellscape that is 2025.

The Millvale location is amazing, so I had to go check out the newish Grist House Command. First off, awesome spot. Absolutely massive. Great views, plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. I liked the double bar set up, made grabbing a beer decently speedy. Beers were tasty as always, huge selection to choose from. One of the few Pittsburgh breweries that have a solid sour selection. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible (details below): - Fresh Tortilla Chips: looks like a 10 year old sprinkled cheddar cheese over a pile of chips and microwaved it for a minute. This entire dish was a massive greasy congealed mess. The fact that they even serve this makes no sense. - Big Pretzel: the pretzel itself was actually really tasty, but the beer cheese was nasty. Terrible texture and extremely grainy. Tastes like someone dumped saw dust into this. Please find a new beer cheese recipe. - Command Style Dog: honestly not bad.... was it worth $7.50? Absolutely not. - Millvale Style Dog: has potential, but the chili is odd. The bun was mush before I even took my first bite. Overall, I'd give this place a 5/5 if it weren't for the food. I absolutely love Grist House, but someone needs to come in and fix the food menu asap.

They also have a big menu for drinks at a pretty reasonable price. I was surprised about how many people were there for an early dinner on a Thursday, must be a popular local spot! We had the smashed fingerling potatoes, it was pretty delicious and I liked the ranch that came with it. There was a lot of toppings on top too! For my main, I got the seafood risotto. It had shrimps and bay scallops. It had a generous amount of seafood in it. By then I was full but they had good sounding desert, including a GF Bundt cake! I wish I had saved some space for it. For my drinks, I had one of their speciality mules: Maggie's mule. It was kind of too sweet for me.
