Our week would be incomplete without a visit or two to Burger Boulevard. A friend suggested it to my wife and me. Now, we recommend it to our friends. Not only that, we TAKE them to Burger Boulevard! The food is mouthwateringly delicious. It is because the quality of the ingredients is absolutely the best, and in everything they create, each ingredient complements the others. This is more of taco Stand/burger joint. Service is quick, as you can see then prepare the food in front of you. Plenty of benches outside, no indoor seating. Super laid back and fills up for lunch. Came across this place while looking for other eateries near Saverino's , where I stopped for an Italian spicy beef sandwich to dig into for later. I wanted to see what else Redlands has to offer, and this place did not disappoint. I looked for other types of food that could stick out from this area. Szechuan, Caribbean, Mexican, deep dish pizza. This burger place kept popping up with every search adjustment. Pictures looked above average, but burgers? Really??? I stopped in thinking that with a full stomach, I could make a more informed choice for a second spot for takeout. Instead, I took another burger to go. From In-N-Out to Shake Shack, Five Guys, and countless restaurant burgers in between, I may have just stumbled on my new standard for burgers. The burger patties were smashed, but thick. They were the perfect balance of browned (not blackened/burnt) crust on the outside with a juicy medium texture in the middle. Combined with good cheese, the right balance of condiments, and a brioche bun, and this turned out to be exactly what I think of when someone mentions a smashburger. The fries brought the fifth star. Perfect texture, crispy yet tender in the middle and not too salty. Reminded me of the best fries I've tried from other places in the past. Just misses a great dipping sauce, but good enough to eat without sauce. Haven't tried the Mexican food here, and I doubt that I will anytime soon. The burgers and fries are just too good. This unassuming burger place, tucked in a small quiet shopping place right next to a small gas station was a truly pleasant surprise when I randomly picked it to give their burger a try. The place was big enough, neat, and very airy. My wife, our son and myself settled in on our orders: mine was a double cheeseburger; my son ordered a burger/pastrami combination with sides of fried zucchini and soda; my wife had beef nachos. The burgers are huge! The taste is awsome! This burger can proudly stand alongside the best burgers out there. In fact, I reckon, this burger is better than 95% of all the burgers out there. Really amazing. The nachos my wife ordered came as a huge mountain of chips, beef and cheese. I was able to finish just half of my burger. I was already full. My wife consumed half of her nachos too. I only recently discovered the "smashburger" trend and I can't go back to regular burgers because I love the caramelized crispy edges of the smashburger so much. Burger Blvd just opened at this location not too long ago. Surprised there are not many reviews. The place is very clean in the dining/eating area during lunch time. The BB's Double Cheeseburger was prepped very well. The caramelized onions is a very nice touch of sweetness. Patties were surprisingly unexpectedly massive. The addition of pickles, lettuce and tomatoes provided a nice balance to the burger. With the size portion, one could possible share one burger. The seasoned French fries were decent and seasoned well. Nothing too elaborate with the thin cut fries. The staff appeared to be a family owned couple running the food establishment.
