I went with my family and we ate outside. Aside from that everything went well. The food was excellent! The taste was better than many other places that I have tried. I am happy to say that The burger and fries did not disappoint. I find myself craving them often. I will definitely head over there again in the near future. I really enjoy the zucchini from here, but today the lady taking the order was so preoccupied it took four (4) tries to tell her all I wanted was a large order of zucchini. I had a similar experience based on other recent reviews, I wish I would have checked yelp before going. The drive thru menu board prices are NOT the prices they are charging. You can't put new prices in place without making updates to the pricing on the menu board. My 4.99 onion rings were 7.89 on the receipt, 8.99 burger now 10.79 and the California chicken melt combo was 22.40!!! How is a chicken sandwich combo over $22?!? Everything on the menu is apparently 22-52% higher than what is shown on the menu board when ordering. Did the food taste good, yes mostly, the onion rings were terrible. Was it worth $44.67 for 2 sandwiches, 2 sides and 1 drink? Absolutely not. It should have been $25 to $30 tops. Very shady business practice and blaming it on rising cost of produce, yeah right. Met a friend that was staying in Big Bear here since it was a good halfway point for us both. Despite the neighborhood looking a little sketchy, this place was really good. We went through the drive thru and ordered our food after checking their menu online, as well as checking the physical menu in the drive thru. I ordered a $9 burrito, my fiancé ordered a $12 omelette. It wasn't until the kid at the drive thru window told us our total and saw our shocked faces that he decided to share with us that they are "in the middle of changing their menu prices". My burrito went from $9 to $14 and the omelette went from $12 to $17! VERY shady. The RIDICULOUS price increase aside, if you haven't POSTED your new prices, you shouldn't be CHARGING the new prices yet. It looked like a bunch of 16 year olds running the place inside and I feel like we were scammed into paying an extra $5 per item for them to pocket themselves.
