Been coming to Burger Bros for years and I am 100% loyal for the best reasons...flavor, flavor, favor! They put great stuff into every meal and I get cravings for it all the time. It's so good I'll occasionally bring work clients from the Towson area to impress them with the best home-made style burger n fries (or onion rings) in Baltimore, in Maryland! Their burgers blow five guys and the nearby chains and others away! I even prefer them to the more formal restaurants' burgers. This place uses just the right amount of grease and salt. If the salt's too much for anyone, it's best to remember most folks don't eat like this every day, even though I would like to. It's what we all wish we could pull off at the backyard grill...the best flavors and the right amount of chargrill! On day 3 of the power outage, when the downtown Towson area had power back but the South Towson residential areas did not, hubbie and I went over to Burger Bros. We ordered the same burgers we always ordered and got sick. I can only speculate they used meat that was on the cusp of turning and that it caused us to get sick. Guys, you have a great reputation. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were well seasoned and were very crispy. I was actually more impressed with the fries than the burger. I'm thinking where the burger fell short was the toppings. They were of my choosing. Grilled onions, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and A1. The burger actually had really good flame broiled marks and it was juicy. The toppings just didn't seem fresh or impressive. I almost didn't even notice the bacon. I'm guessing it was there since I ordered it. The service was just ok there. I arrived about 1:20, well after the lunch crowd had gone. I would eat at Burger Bros again if I was in the area because I checked the reviews before I went and they were favorable. Maybe it was me or maybe I should try something different. If I'm jonesing for a burger though I'm gonna hit up Kelsey's in Ellicott City for the Corned Beef Burger. It's a little pricey at $13.99 but it's great. Gourmet hamburgers, what else can I say ? I would put Burger bros in the same category as 5 guys, except head to head I would say burgers bros is slightly better. Where five guys has two smaller patties, Burger bros gives you one larger beef pattie. You can tell they source quality ground beef as their burgers are simply great. The best burgers in Baltimore! Fresh hamburgers made to order on a brioche bun with your choice of toppings. Perfect! The only thing they are missing is provolone cheese, but the burgers are so good it doesn't matter. Awesome burgers and fries. Really tasty meat patties and the buns are buttered and crisped on the grill. Nice guys behind the counter. Only drawback is the dining area which is kind of drab and crowded during peak hours. Big plus is the Fanta Birch Beer from the fountain is a treat that you don't see very often. There's enough variety on the menu that there's plenty choices for those who are not in the mood for a burger. Their beef burger is amazingly delicious, and their vegetarian portobello burger is my favorite vegetarian burger I've had, which is saying a lot. Nice grill flavor to the portobello. I have elderly family in Towson and we discovered this place about two years ago. I go every time I'm in town. They have the best burgers in town in my opinion; big, juicy, lots of toppings.
