Coming on my lunch break I didn't want a double burger. I wish they had an option for a jr (1 patty) burger at a smaller rate. Other than that, my burger tasted great! The interior was generally clean and decorated for the holidays. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is ample casual seating available and refills on drinks. The burger was slightly above average and the fries were pretty good too. My only concern was near the beverage station there was an unpleasant odor and the garbage there was full despite being shortly after opening. I walked in a few minutes past opening, with only one couple there. It was a well cleaned and dressed place of business. It took time to read the menu and the cashier was not pushy. I ordered a cheeseburger and was told there would be about an 8 minute wait. The burger came out on a cake pan like plate. Metal with a wax like paper between it and the burger. Ketchup and napkins on the table. Nice. For the burger, it was easy to hold, the grease from the burger was not in the bun. It came out hot as well. For the flavor, Meh, it was a burger. Now let me say there was nothing wrong and I would never turn away a free burger, but for me, it tasted like a very much better version of a Wendy's burger. All our burgers were on point , not over cooked , soft bread, toppings abundant. I'm pleased we now have a WB nearby. The food is good, way better than fast food (and the greasy Five Guys across the street that seems to be getting so much love for some reason). The burgers here have a crispy edge to them (think Steak n Shake if you have been to one), and I love that they also offer veggie and turkey burgers too. The veggie burger is great, and being Catholic it provides some variety for what to eat on a Friday during Lent. I haven't tried the turkey burger yet but it is on my to-do list. The veggie burger was good. Didn't have any grill type flavor which would have been nice. But it tasted good and had great texture possibly fried. They had a bunch of flavored mayos/sauces, that I didn't get, but my fiancé did and enjoyed. The cheese fries were ok. But just kind of bland! Do yourself a solid and get these! Ranch dip also great flavor. Cheeeeeesy Burger - Burger cooked well, but was rather greasy. I got pickles on mine, but what's crazy is the pickles of all things had zero flavor. If I didn't see them, I'd never know they were on it. They need a different brand. The upside bun was a nice touch. Kinda gave the burger a grilled cheese feel. Fries - It you like Wendy's fries, this is their cousin. Good but nothing to write home about. Chicken Sandwich (According to my wife) - Speaking of Wendy's, she said this heavily reminded her of the Wendy's chicken sandwich. She enjoyed but not raving. There is a LOT of variety in the sandwiches and sides, so something for everyone. I do plan to go back and try a few other items to see if there are any more winners besides the Mac bites. Wanted to try a new local burger spot. Was greeted when walked in. Very clean and spacious location. Restrooms were very clean. Plenty of parking as this is located in a strip mall. Ordered the double bacon burger and fries for carry out. Took about 10 mins but very happy overall with price and customer service. There was a rush for dine in as soon as I left. Got to the car and the fries were cold. However they were quality fries that I just reheated when I got home. When I arrived home I noticed how great the presentation of the burger was. Made nicely, wrapped perfectly like a present- this made me excited to devour this burger. Very good bun and beef, toppings were perfect and bacon wasn't too over powering. I went in since it was on my way home. The one employee told the guy on the grill to make my burger. I waited 10 more minutes and the burgers were not cooking. How can you be a burger place and not be cooking burgers?? So unless you are using Uber Eats I wouldn't bother with this place and just visit the other burger guys across the street. Our first visit last week was great. Tonight was a different story. I order my kids and myself dinner and it took 20 minutes to get our food. The issue is they were constantly getting Uber eats orders on top of their counter orders. I also ordered a burger to go. After 20 minutes of waiting they were "making my burger" (i had been told the same thing at the 15 minute mark with no burgers to be seen on the flat top). I left without my to go burger. If they don't have the staff to handle the online/Uber eats orders they need to reconsider their business model. I still gave 3 stars since the food is good and the staff was polite. read more
