I cannot figure out how this place has the reviews it does. It is average at best and that is being generous. To be honest it is one of the worst burgers I've had in a very long time. Service was good, the person who took my order was friendly and the food did come out pretty fast. The positives stop there. I got 2 burgers, the double decker and the Wagyu/Kobe burger with pastrami. Immediately I noticed that the both types of patties (the regular and the Wagyu/Kobe) had no color at all. They were just gray. No grill marks, no texture. Both burger patties were lifeless and flavorless. They were obviously frozen, low quality beef. Calling the "nicer" burger Wagyu or Kobe is a farce. This patty tasted worse than the ones at Burger King, and the standard patties were even worse. When I ordered the burgers I was asked how I wanted them cooked and the person taking my order said they recommend medium to which I said sure. When they came out, none of the patties had a shred of pink in them. It was pointless for them to ask how I'd like my frozen patties done when they all come out gray and flavorless anyway. Didn't try the fries, some people say they're good but I was just here to try the actual burgers themselves and left supremely disappointed. read more

This is a solid burger establishment. My Asada fries were very tasty and plentiful. I am told the meatless burger was pretty good for those who don't like the taste of beyond/impossible. If you do like the meat taste, it will fall a little short. The other day I was in Glendale for work when I was craving some burgers so I yelped up this place and found burger bun LA. The crazy part is this place also has Mexican food. I ordered the boss burger and my friend had the chicken cheese quesadilla and Carne Asada tacos. They were all really good. I tried a couple bites of everything and we loved this place next time. Super fast and friendly. We stopped here on our way to see a show at The Greek and the food is great for to-go. I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was really good, and the mozzarella sticks were seasoned great. The marinara sauce was kind of plain and mine had a huge chunk of tomato so there wasn't really enough sauce in my little cup for the sticks. They also have a great amount of drink options including both fountain and cans/bottles, so you can really get whatever you want. The place is a bit small in size but it doesn't feel like it. They have plenty of tables and space and they also had music playing which gave it a really chill vibe. I will definitely be stopping here again. read more

I've tried this place numerous times and I have to say, it never disappoints!! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted in the most welcoming way. Staff are always friendly and are always ready to answer any questions you may have. Great ambiance and the quality of the food is out of this world: specially the beef, always tastes fresh and delicious. I placed an order for the gyros sandwich and had asked for a deconstructed one that looks more like a plate rather than a wrap, and to be honest I wasn't thinking I'd receive it in the way I imagined, but to my shock it surpassed it. Everything was neatly set up in the container, all the condiments perfectly packed in individual containers, and the pita cut perfectly. I truly love this place. Definitely will be recommending more family and friends to try it out. Oh and if you're a fry connoisseur like myself, IMO nothing comes close to theirs. Came by one day after work for a quick bite before seeing a movie. I had the Egg Burger, and it was really good. It was actually my second burger of the day, but also the best burger of the day! Fairly simple, but done to perfection. It was immediately cooked and took about 7-10 minutes of waiting. I took it to go and was planning on eating it before the movie. However, it smelled so good that I ate it right in the car! I def will return and may even order from the website or the app next time to make it quicker. The location works great since I work in Glendale. Place is really small, but perfect for what I was looking for. I heard that their fries are also delicious, so that may be something that I need to try next. I wish that I took a picture because it looked really good too. When I think of food in Glendale, I don't typically think of burgers, but Burger Bun really blew me away! I was impressed by everything we ate. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, mango habanero wings, spicy bbq wings, the Boss burger, mozzarella sticks, carne asada fries, and a carne asada quesadilla. My personal favorite was the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The hot cheesy meaty goodness between two toasted buns was sooo satisfying! I also really enjoyed the mango habanero wings. I love the contrast of the sweet mango flavor against the spicy habanero. These were pretty addicting! The burger did not taste good at all. It had no taste whatsoever. Burger King tastes better. Now I understand why it's relatively cheap for a burger. The halal burger is my favorite -- I'm gluten intolerant, and while they don't have specifically gluten-free offerings this is literally the best-done lettuce wrap I've been able to get *anywhere*; good thick pieces of lettuce, and not so many that you think you're eating a salad instead of fast food! Stopped by Burger Bun last night after Sunday evening mass because we were on a mission to find some carne asada fries. A quick Yelp search yielded some places nearby and Burger Bun was totally new to us so we decided to try it. It's a small but bright space within a shopping plaza that has Subway and Barrio Fiesta. It's located along Pacific Ave almost to Glenoaks Blvd. We were greeted nicely by the young lady at the counter. We got the carne asada fries supreme which came with the added sour cream, guacamole and grilled jalapeno. We got our order after being freshly made in about 7-10 minutes. We sat at a table near the front of the dining area. I'd say there were about 6-8 tables of 2 in the dining room. Seats were comfortable and the white leather bound tables were a unique design... The carne asada fries were good. It was perfect for sharing and also came with diced tomatoes as well as the requisite shredded cheeses. The carne asada itself was a good amount but came with a little bit of bbq sauce to it. That, I didnt expect but I warmed up to it and it was tasty nonetheless. We asked for the onion/cilantro salsa to be served on the side and it was. Overall, a good dining experience at Burger Bun. We will definitely be back to try their burgers. Burger bun is one of Glendales best fast food restaurants. Family business with a great attitude and quality ingredients you can taste. I love stopping by with my son and his friends after school for lunch and we love picking up food for dinner. Everything tastes amazing and you never feel like the food is heavy.
