First time my friend and I tried this place and we really enjoyed it!! On Postmates they offer a buy one get one free gyro which is a great value! My friend and I each got one, and it had really good tazitki sauce and fries, and it was really tasty! We liked it so much we ordered another one haha. The cook seemed really appreciative and hooked up some free drinks and sauces! Very nice guy too, they have a good variation of Greek items to choose from. Check this place out!!

    Chicken gyros

My wife and I order from this place at least twice a week. We love the chicken gyros and the parfaits. Food is well made and customer service is excellent. Love the consistency of the food. We get a couple of chicken gyros and it just never disappoints. Customer service is excellent. Owner always hands it off with care and respect. You can just tell that he takes great pride in his food and his business. Highly recommend this place!

Made with quality flour and baked fresh hourly, they are usually served hot from the oven, and I can't resist eating 1/4 of it before I get home. The fresh cut flowers and plants welcome you into this Armenian market, with tall, vibrant roses unlike those found at most florists. Big Square also offers a solid selection of produce, meats, pastres, alcohol, and other goods. Specialty items like Armenian coffee, unique condiments, and hard to find deli products are always available. For meat products, they have frozen quail, which is usually difficult to find... however, I have never been a fan of their other meat items. The one time I purchased shank and liver, it wasn't as fresh and of quality I anticipated. Parking can at times be difficult and drivers are a bit aggressive. I suggest shopping here during slow hours vs. peak times.

Greens were not fully dried either prior to cooking so that resulted in just water pouring out with spicy seasoning. What was supposed to be a treat went in to trash in 2 seconds. Bloody hell -- Cajun Craving is the spot. I walked in expecting solid seafood. I walked out…read morewondering how the hell they haven't been handed a Michelin star already. Let's start with the Cajun shrimp: perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely drenched in a sauce so flavorful it should come with a warning label. Not salty, not greasy -- just balanced, bold, and outrageously addictive. You taste it once and immediately know someone in that kitchen actually gives a damn. And the crab legs... my god. HUGE, sweet, and steamed to perfection. You crack into them and it's like opening a treasure chest -- except instead of gold, it's pure, buttery, Cajun-kissed heaven. Now the sausage -- whoever seasons that deserves a raise. It doesn't just sit in the bag like an afterthought. It has its own flavor, completely over the top in the best possible way. Smoky, spicy, rich... it punches through the boil like it's auditioning for its own dish. But the real sleeper hit? THE GREEN SAUCE. Off. The. Chain. A straight-up flavor knockout -- bright, herby, tangy, and absolutely lethal in the way good sauces should be. It elevates everything you dip it in. I could drink it. I won't -- but I could. The whole experience? Different -- but in that rare, memorable, "I need to come back tomorrow" kind of way. Cajun Craving is easily one of the best seafood boils in LA. No nonsense, no shortcuts, just pure, serious, crafted flavor. Five stars. Easy. Gordon Ramsay approved.

The people here are super friendly and helpful. I ordered the real deal brisket pastrami sandwich. Such a delicious sandwich and the size is pretty large. I think it could have lasted me two different meals. Especially if I got a side or two with it. Definitely would love to come back to try some of the other sandwiches. The prices is here are pretty reasonable especially with lots of expensive sandwich shops out there these days.

I saw an Instagram post about a thick-cut wagyu pastrami hoagie. Well, the thick-cut pastrami isn't…read morea thing anymore. The pastrami is cut thin -- thin, but it's still good. What we ordered: 1) a create-your-own pastrami sandwich with mustard, pickles, and Swiss cheese, 2) their new pastrami cheesesteak. 3) a banana pudding (which I haven't tried yet) The standard pastrami hoagie good, but those kinds of pastrami sandwiches are pretty ubiquitous in SoCal-- pastrami, thinly sliced; maybe there's pickles, maybe there's mustard, maybe there's jus for a dip (their's is dry), on a French roll. I can get that kind of pastrami sandwich closer to me. On the other hand, a pastrami cheesesteak is NOT something you'd see around these parts. According to the menu, their cheesesteak has their signature pastrami, Cooper sharp cheddar, and onions on a hoagie roll. We preferred the pastrami cheesesteak over the standard, simply because of the novelty but also for the taste. The cheddar gave the cheesesteak a richness that a regular pastrami sandwich wouldn't have. Also, the melted cheddar had a binding effect on the pastrami; the meat stayed in the sandwich. You didn't end up with a third to half the pastrami ending up escaping the confines of the roll halves. The pastrami cheesesteak also included a 2oz serving cup of chipotle aioli which we really didn't need. The flavor on its own was enough for us. If I had a minor gripe on this cheesesteak, maybe a hit of acid would've been nice, but cheesesteaks usually lean toward rich and gooey so this sandwich's flavors and textures are par for the course. About the place itself: 1) the sandwich shop is on the corner of a major intersection, Lexington and Pacific 2) other than a driveway with a single space, it is ALL street parking. 3) there is NO parking on Pacific 4) the only dine-in option is a small porch with a couple of tables 5) be stage are all canned or bottled; there is no fountain The sandwiches are made to order. My order was given a wait time of 15 minutes but I'm pretty sure it was faster than that. I don't think I would drive all the way from the Rosemead area, but it's clearly a local's favorite. If we were in the area, we'd totally order the pastrami cheesesteak again, maybe with pepperonis. Their pastrami is no Langer's, but it's definitely a cut (no pun intended) over the standard Jim's 1/4 Lb or Rick's type joints. You can taste the care in its preparation. Overall, a really good sandwich place.

We ordered a bunch of food, so here's the review of each dish: -Fiery feta dip: 5/5 -- maybe could be an eeeeeensy spicier, but so well balanced! Not heavy at ALL with the acidity cutting through so nicely. -Grilled Spanish octopus: 4/5 -- not as soft as I thought it would be tbh! Squeeze a lot of lemon; it pairs very well with the spiced oil. -Filet mignon plate: 4.75/5 -- beef cooked perfectly medium rare and seasoned well, tzatziki bright, veggies grilled well, rice could use a bitttttt more flavor but everything still ate really deliciously! - Hummus side: 5/5 -- SOOOO GOOD! super smooth, not too bean-y, spiced well. Super delicious with fries and the pita. - Seasoned fries side: 5/5 -- honestly no complaints! Seasoned with zaatar seasoning blend, it was perfectly salty and a hint of spice with crispy yet fluffy fries. Went well with the side of ketchup, in the hummus, with the feta dip, etc -Server Art is the son of the family who owns Greek Bistro. He was personable, had recommendations for us, and told us the story of how the fiery feta dip landed on the menu (Art I hope your pillow is always cold).
