Absolutely amazing burgers at this spot. My boyfriend and I went because we were looking for a good sandwich in Glendale. The restaurant is small but inviting and has plenty of outdoor seating. All the food is cooked to order by the friendly owner, and pretty quickly too. He told us that his burgers were homemade and "not like your normal burger", so we were excited to try. He gave us some samples of falafel with his signature sauce while we waited, which I loved, and next time I'll try a falafel sandwich. But after a period of time that was appropriate for cooking two burgers, we had our food. Upon opening the wrappers to the burgers (which were a mushroom cheeseburger and cheeseburger), we noticed that they were massive. The buns were sturdy yet soft, substantial enough to hold up to the generous fillings yet somehow light. And oh my god the burger meat itself. Typically, burger meat is unseasoned and the main flavor you get is meat. But this burger, the meat itself was deliciously seasoned, almost like the meat you would get on a kebab. And the cheese, too, was not flabby and unremarkable but rather a thick, stretchy, flavorful melt that complemented the fresh toppings perfectly. Refreshing pickles and tomatoes, perfectly tender sautéed mushrooms, and plenty of the signature sauce. I will be back for this burger, and to try his other sandwiches. Wonderful little shop where the sandwiches are clearly made with love. It's very small but quaint in its own way. Feels very old school. The owner has been in business for years and appears to really love what he does. The bread is great and the toppings are fresh. Excellent middle Eastern food cooked by a single chef in a small venue. We had the kebab and the schnitzel. Both were delicious and had excellent portions. It was a quiet night and the proprietor cooked everything while we waited, including freshly-preparing french fries to accompany the schnitzel. **March 2022 Visit - Saturday Evening** My friend and I had just visited another fast casual restaurant for dinner, but the portions were so small that we were still hungry. I pulled up my yelp app and noticed this restaurant with a perfect rating and super late hours. So we decided to hope on over and give it a try. So glad we did because it was our best meal that night! The cafe is located on the side of a large laundromat and be careful when you drive by because we missed it the first time around. Parking is super limited; however, we lucked out and found street parking right next to the shop. There's a small patio where we saw a family enjoy their burgers and fries. Inside there's a counter for at least two to sit and dinin. We briefly chatted with the owners and apparently this restaurant was here for 10 years and they've operated for the past five. Regardless, they had a pretty steady flow of customers al night. Most of the clientele looked middle-eastern and middle-aged, which tells me that this probably is a local spot within the community. My friend and I order a Chicken Burger Combo ($8.99) and a Roast Beef Sandwich ($10.99), which came out pretty quickly. Wow the chicken sandwich was huge both in size and flavor. The chicken was juicy and all the veggies inside had a distinct but complementary flavors. The bun also tasted different. It's lighter than a traditional bun. Fries were standard, but leaned on the crispy (versus soggy/soft) side. The Roast Beef Sandwich was very moist, and tender; however, a tad heavy for me. Needless to say, we were NOT disappointed. We ordered a bunch of things to try -- Roast Beef Sandwich, Beef Tongue Sandwich, Chicken and Beef Burgers (with Mushroom/Cheese + Fries), and the German Sausage Sandwich (with Mushroom/Cheese). Keep in mind, these are fresh, homemade burgers & sandwiches with a Persian twist. Don't come here expecting a Big Mac or Whopper. Although... size-wise, these burgers are HUGE.
