Where's the beef? Every time I come over to Vancouver Island, Burger Crush is a 'must stop at' for me! Located on Fort St, there's several shops, restaurants & bakeries on this street. BC knows how to do Smash Burgers right! Taste, presentation, flavour ALL on point! One of the bestest burgers ever indeed. While we don't have In-N-Out Burger up here in Canada - this is probably the next best thing. The thin cut fries are excellent. Get an order of regular fries. OMG the Chocolate Shake here is absolutely sensational! It looks small & unassuming, but don't be fooled - it's the real deal when it comes to quality shakes! Be sure to tell the cashier you want your shake after you finish your burger. I do not recommend you get it to go - have it right away once you've finished your meal. Also if you are one to carry around your own metal or plastic straw, bring it here! This shake should not be associated with paper straws = sadness! Hands down to the best vegan burger in Victoria! We had the vegan cheeseburger and some vegan tofu nuggets. They were all so incredible. It's fantastic, with every flavour, texture, and taste possible. They had some delicious sauces as well. The host was friendly and provided excellent service. Great atmosphere. Price wise, it was quite expensive for some burger, fries and nuggets. However, the quality was exceptional. If you're craving for some high quality vegan/vegetarian burgers and vegan nuggets, this is the spot! Additionally, I feel they should reinstate their outdoor patio because it was enjoyable, especially in the summer time. Highly recommend! read more

We went to Burger Crush as it was opened and in the area when we were getting a little hungry. The place was inviting it it's open seating and colourful wall art. The menu extremely simple, with few choices, which made ordering very simple and straightforward. The counter service was likewise easy. The burger was decent, nothing overly fancy or particularly taste bud blowing away. The price a little more than I was expecting, but quality is evident, but still a little on the pricey side for what it is. read more

We ordered takeout from the Colwood location the other night. Two single cheeseburgers and a side of crush fries.... all of it utterly forgettable. The burgers were average, nothing special about them compared to anywhere else, and the crush fries were a sludgy, gooey mess that we only ate about half of. Considering that two uninteresting burgers and a side of fries came to over $40 with a tip, I think there are MUCH better options for that price. Nothing particularly bad to say, but ultimately nowhere close to being worth the cost. read more

This is a wonderful little hole in the wall for burger lovers in Victoria with great Vegan options! My husband and I aren't huge bread eaters - our go to for a cheap date is to split a burger with a double patty.... We each get a full patty that way, save a bit of cash, and aren't feeling like we ODed on bread. Don't skip the shakes! There are also several vegan options for these and they are yummy! While visiting Victoria last weekend my family and I tried Burger Crush, as it was near our hotel. They have a bit of a limited menu, just basic burgers , but they do also have Vegan options which my daughter and her husband really appreciated. They even had vegan nuggets and sauces. Tasty burger, and they were happy to accommodate my husband and I with a "lettuce wrap" instead of a bun. Service was friendly and the food tasted great. Would definitely come again. read more

Tasty burgers, quick service, and vegan options. We walked by and the smell convinced us to order takeout for dinner during our visit to Victoria. I'm glad we did cause it was a satisfying meal. I had the vegan cheeseburger and it was delicious. It tasted just like a regular burger, but not as greasy. The fries were crisp and salty. The vegan shake was super thick. I had the rootbeer one, but the coconut ice cream overpowered the rootbeer flavour. But it was still delicious. Overall, I was very happy with the vegan options. We arrived at Berger Crush on August 1, 2024 at 9:32pm and they were closing at 10PM. It took about five minutes to place our order and the cashier ( tall brunette with glasses) who took the order after we spent the time making the order told us that she could only place the order to go because they close at 10 PM. I looked at my Watch and said how long is it going to take to make the order and she said about 10 minutes and then I said well we should have 10 minutes to sit down and eat we did not come here to eat in our car. By the time the order came she handed it to us and said we close in seven minutes. She was extremely rude. We just spent $75 on burgers and then we sat down to eat them quickly and diligently. , She stared at us the entire time with her arms folded. The burgers were pretty good, but the 2 orders of fries were cold. We felt uncomfortable and her attitude was horrible standing there staring at us. We were actually going to go to Fatburger, but we thought let's give this place a try because it had a 92% rating and we know what Fat Burger is like. We left at 10:00pm after she came over and said we're closing now, halfway through our food and went and sat in our car out in front of the store and ate the rest of our food. If the owner of the store would have witnessed this poor employee behavior they would have died. She should have waited 5 more minutes with a polite attitude and all would have been ok. We were five perspective good future customers that will never go back to Burger Crush again. read more

For the first time ever I went to Burger Crush. I visited their place out in Colwood. I had never had one of their cheeseburgers. I usually go to Big Wheel but decided to try a new spot. Super friendly service, single party cheese burger was made to order and was pretty darn tasty. Piping hot, good crunch to the veggies on board. So why only 4*? Bun didn't stand up to the stuff on the inside. Even though the time frame between receiving the burger to eating it was maybe a minute the bun became a bit mushy unfortunately.I see they toasted the bun prior to assembly, and I'm sure that helps, but a more burger friendly bun would put this burger into 5* territory. read more

I've been there twice and a shake shouldn't take 20 minutes to make. I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I am actively seeking out doing this because tonight we waited 20 minutes for two milkshakes. It was 5PM on a Thursday and no food on the order. It wasn't busy, and the counter girl was stamping bags rather than anything else but the staff in the kitchen weren't doing her any favours either. They didn't ask her to help with shakes until about 7 minutes after we put in the order and they moved like they were in slow motion. Half way through waiting a person came in to pick up an online/phone order and he was still waiting for his milkshake after we finally left. If this was the first time, I'd probably just write it off as new staff or maybe overworked staff (which isn't any better) but I've been there once before and it took just about as long. So if you're on a time constraint, it's not worth it. (I also don't know why it says I'm from Toronto I'm local to Victoria.) read more
