VISA regulations state that both credit and cash prices be visible to customers and that signage be at the entrances and at registers to alert customers of the 4% surcharge. Great crispy waffle fries, fried chicken and good burgers. Service inside can be a little iffy but never horrible. Everything is always good and fresh and the milkshakes are good also. Poor phone etiquette/customer service. I understand there are high volume hours, but the phone etiquette/customer service should never be poor and unprofessional. I attempted to place phone orders on two different occasions, and both days I changed my mind due to the attitude of the employee who answered the phone. "Yeah" and "Go ahead" is not the way to greet a customer over the phone, or in person, in any circumstance or at any business. read more

I have been here several times and the food is pretty good. Other than the burgers, most everything is fried. Don't let the name fool you, they are way more than burgers. Their fried chicken is really good, the fried okra is great and the french fries are good. I finally tried one of their burgers the last time I went and it was good. The bun was fresh, the burger cooked perfectly and it was nice and hot. I know others have mentioned that it wasn't clean or that the service is poor. I have not had this experience. All of the times i have been, the restaurant has been clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The food comes out pretty quick, even during the lunch rush. I will be back. read more

I've eaten here three times and this place sucks... big time. I've tried the burgers twice and a BLT once. This place leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe the other menu items are good, I don't know. The burgers are tasteless and the meat is burnt on the edges. With a little effort they could produce a decent burger but they don't seem interested. The fries scored a 4 out of 10 but the waffle fries scored a 6. They could do better and maybe they will. read more

Ok so we visited this place during lunch time. Yes it was crazy busy and there was also a private party going on. Anyway fast forward to the actual food, I ordered the 2pc chicken dinner. The chicken was at best average. The dirty rice was dry and lacking taste. The rolls that were put on my plate tasted sour. My dog wouldn't even touch them, that's when you know it's bad smh. Burgers here are so-so. Their shrimp po'boys are really good... more shrimp than Ive ever seen in one sandwich. The fries taste really fresh. They get rave reviews for the fried chicken, but honestly I don't get the hype. It's fried chicken, and honestly the recipe is nothing exciting. The chicken basket was ok... it comes with gravy, buttered toast, and fries. The shrimp basket is HUGELY generous for the sheer quantity of shrimp. I had the onion rings at one point and they seemed no better than what I could thaw myself from frozen. They have quite a bit to choose from on the menu, and what I did like when getting fried chicken was that the sides were more vast and varied than any other fried chicken place I've been. It's Oakdale, so you don't have a lot of choices, but I wouldn't bother on seeking burgers at this place despite it being called "burger inn". Go for the fried chicken or po'boy or maybe just a grilled cheese sandwich. I noticed they even had salads. As far as the ambiance, it's moved to a brand new location at a major intersection, so it's bright and shiny new, with lots of seating. read more

Just keep driving PAST Burger Inn. Sonic is right down the highway and I guarantee you has better food. Burger Inn burgers has ZERO flavor and they do not even have ketchup packets for to-go orders. Also only off brand soda options - and Pepsi. Ick. I will NOT be back. Blah And we paid $15 for two burgers, two small fries and fountain drinks. Burger Inn is OUT in my book. read more

Although Popeye's is right across the street, the chicken size is doubled at Burger Inn compared to theirs and you must try the nuggets, they're huge and delicious! You are not going to leave full for the price you will pay at any other chicken establishment - highly recommend eating here! read more

Very reasonable to cheap prices for GREAT burgers. I drive 30 minutes to eat here fairly often. I have always been greeted and served by very friendly and kind staff. But if you want to use the drive through make sure you order ahead by phone, the drive through is only for called in orders. read more

Called in 3 burgers waited 15 minutes in line after waiting 15 minutes before getting there, expecting great burgers hence the name Burger Inn but was greatly disappointed. They were cold the patty was super thin seemed to be the frozen and reheat patty. Did not like the flavor and fed most to my black lab that rode with us. Will not be getting burgers there again. It did look really nice inside though, maybe the chicken is better. Ate there for a second time and ordered the Oyster po boy and it was really good. Priced at $5.99 and had 14 oysters on it. It was crazy loaded and surprisingly really good. Still haven't tried the chicken read more
