Typical Burger King. Typical fast food. Recently the chain has changed their look and menu. Remodeled stores and added the Impossible Whopper to their menu. Walking a dog nearby and wanted to get the new veggie whopper mentioned above. Used the drive through and ordered my burger. Requested they cook it in the microwave and not the broiler like all the other burgers. They went above and beyond to make my order special which is pretty sweet. Drive through took a long time though. Car behind me also took some time to get their order. Inside the store some signage was remodeled but a wet rag could have been used on the tables. Seating outside but the old tables from the 1990's Burger King remodels. This parking lot had a ton of potholes and surfaces were not level. No problems grabbing a parking spot to dine in though. Average store but I appreciate taking care on an order with a special request. read more

I would leave 0 stars if possible. This is the slowest and least competent Burger King I have ever been too. Last order I ordered 4 ham crossianwiches and received 4 sausage resulting in having to go back. Today I went and waited 10 minutes while an employee tried to enter my order. First... Young man taking orders was working his butt off. He was polite, professional, but harried. It seemed like he was new and not getting the help he needed. I praised him to the corporation. Second...I was second in line. Placed my order. Number 50. Guy in front number 49. Then it got busy. It was the lunch rush. There was the one guy up front, the manager, and two people cooking etc. That's it. The manager was speaking Spanish to the people in back and rapidly switching to English with the cashier and customers. You try that. I admire her for two languages. I speak two and it would be tough. Three...she could not keep up with the orders coming in. Suddenly, they're calling out 51, 52, etc. up to 60. Skipped me, 50. They actually gave my $18 order to another woman who skipped out with it and they tried to give me her $4 order. I pointed that out. They went back to the drawing board. Finally...50. It was only partial. Also, they tried to give it to another woman who actually reached in, rummaged around in my food, and said it was wrong. She handed it to me and I looked inside and she'd unwrapped a couple items. I told the manager I was not taking this as it had been touched by at least one other customer and I needed my whole correct order now. She took it from me and made a dirty look and a great show of tossing it out. Within two minutes I got my order. By this time, people were angry, laughing derisively, or just walking out. That young man deserves a medal and a better job. That manager needs to be retrained. The franchise owner needs to be sanctioned by the Corp. Probably won't be back to this location. Waited 15 mins in the drive thru- little ridiculous when there are only 3 cars ahead of you. Came by to pick up a quick dinner for the kids and the husband. Got an angry whopper, a jr. whopper with cheese, 10 spicy nuggets, two large fries and a side of onion rings. Got halfway home, noticed the nuggets weren't in the bag. Yeah, Jordyn should have checked at the window, but she didn't. Naturally, I turn around, get to BK and head inside. I notice a gentleman standing off to the side (he'd already ordered). Woman, petite blonde, behind the counter (I'm assuming she's the manager) looked over at me and noticed I was holding my bag and receipt. "I'll be right with you." and she went back to filling up another orders bag. About 3 minutes later, she comes to the counter, "can I help you?" I laid the receipt on the counter and explained I'd just been through the drive thru and ordered 10 spicy nuggets and they weren't in the bag. I think I was pretty polite and straightforward. She says, "They aren't in the bag??" like she's shocked as if she did it herself. (Trust me y'all, this bag was filled so much already I couldn't even close the bag, and I'm not one who is going to scarf down 10 nuggets in 5 minutes then claim I didn't get $1.50 worth of chicken nuggets). I proceed to start shifting items in the bag, giving myself the benefit of the doubt that MAYBE the nuggets were somehow magically buried in there under everything. They weren't. She turns around and says to the cook through the window, "I need 10 spicy nuggets! Apparently she didn't get them!" Uh, 'apparently'? Oookay, sis. So they hand her the bag of nuggets, and she holds them out, I'm assuming to hand them TO ME, and she tries going around my hand (a couple times in a few seconds) to which I finally grasped the bag and set it in the bag. She kind of shrugs and goes "I was going to put them in the bag for you". I told her, "oh no, it's okay, thank you!" (Still trying to be polite). She turns on her heels and says "have a nice day" and goes back to her business. Think it was a bit more than necessary with all she said. If a customer comes in claiming they don't have something from their order AND starts pulling things out, you'd think there is some validity behind their claim. PLUS, it's $1.50 in nuggets. I wasn't trying to get an [extra] angry whopper for FREE. Not sure why she had the attitude that I was being dishonest or whatever. Either way, not too thrilled. Visit was less than stellar. Second time reviewing this horrific establishment. Not sure why I decided it was a good idea to come here again. But, like last time, it was a huge mistake. It's 9:00 in the morning. I pull up to the drive thru to order. I wait and wait and wait. I really want breakfast, but I only see their lunch menu up, so I have to guess what they have. Finally someone comes to take my order. I place my order, pull around, give them my credit card to pay, and get charged. A few minutes go by and then the cashier comes back to the window and tells me, "sorry, we don't have any food for breakfast or lunch." Um, excuse me?! You mean to tell me that you've been open since 6am, you took my order, you charged my card, and you are just now figuring this out?! Have you not been paying attention to what's happening in the kitchen? Are you not communicating with the kitchen? Don't tell me after being open for 3 hours you haven't figured this out. Then, the girl tells me that she cannot refund my card because there is no manager there? Again, WHAT?! Why isn't there a manager on duty? Why would you change my card if you knew there was no food? Have had many issues here in the past. Today I was given the wrong order. Order the bbq bacon chicken sandwich. Got a regular chicken sandwich instead. That wasn't the worst part however. When I realized it was the wrong sandwich after I got home, I decide to eat it anyway as I didn't have time to go back to the store. Took one bite and had to spit it out. The chicken was barely over room temp and hard. Like that sandwich was made a few hours ago and just left out. The internal temp of the chicken was 91 degrees. read more

I used to go to the 64th location in Arvada almost twice a week. The food is amazing for a chain burger place. But recently getting service is a joke. Last night I stopped by at 5:15pm. The drive through was blocked off with cones. No big deal. I left bummed but, I get sometimes it happens. So still craving a whopper, I called the next day about 11am. The staff member that answered informed me there was no reason they'd be closed. I told him they were at 5 last night so.... I wanted to be sure before I headed up there again. He assured me they'd be open. About 1pm I pulled in. This time there were no cones or signs and there were two staff members standing out front talking/smoking. I pulled through and up to the order box. Guy said" I'm so sorry to tell you but we are not open." What??!!!!! I said I just called and was told you were open! He just said "I'm sorry." There were two guys STANDING out front!!! This was at 1pm on 2/16/22 for anyone reading this. What the heck is going on with this place!!!! Yeah, I visit here from time to time. It's not that I don't like it enough to not visit here, but I'd most definitely be better off not eating here. Then the driver went back and when she returned, the order was still missing the french toast. Let me just start by saying that I don't eat at Burger King type places very often. As in, I think the last time I visited any Burger King was over a year ago. It's not that I'm snooty, I just like certain things from different fast food restaurants, and rarely do we have the time for me to do what I REALLY want to do, which is to get one thing off each menu and eat it en route to the next fast food restaurant to get THEIR one good thing. Like, you can't beat the french fries from McDonalds, no one else even comes close. But do they have Jamocha shakes? No. Do they have Wild Dipping Sauce for their fries? No. And none of those other places have strawberry limeade, at least not strawberry limeade as good as Sonic's. Jalepeno poppers vary widely, and I don't like all fast food versions of them. I think McNuggets taste like dog meat, but the chicken fingers from Good Times? Oh heavenly days. Smash Burger's burgers are totally worth every luscious calorie, but truffle fries at Lark Burger go with those burgers way better. Few fast food places have onion rings, and NO ONE has very good ones, at least none that I've found. And I don't give up on these things lightly. So admittedly, when I go for fast food, it isn't fast, and I have to limit my indulgence to "rare" or "very rare" and set aside a big block of time. (But imagine my glee when I met the man I would eventually marry and he shared my same love of fast food roadtrips. Our early dates were just hours of utter gluttony). So you can see why most of the time, I grudgingly try to behave. I was absolutely ravenous at lunchtime today, up in that weird conglomerate of retail stuff in West Arvada, and I remembered that Burger King carries a garden burger. Perfect. Obviously I am no vegetarian and will argue TO THE DEATH my right to eat whatever the hell I want, when I want. But like my daughter used to say defensively years ago I AM BEING HAVE. (Like behave, see... being hay-ve). I drove through the drive through, ordered my garden burger and asked for no cheese or mayo, a giant Diet Coke, and after some monetary exchange and my conversation with the clerk about how happy I am that there's a garden burger option and their version is pretty good (sort of dull dialogue, admittedly), the transaction was complete. Off I went, yay Beatles' White Album. Merging into traffic, I opened my bag, took out my sammich.... and just had to laugh out loud. I had been given a complete blow-out classic Whopper, dripping with mayo, a giant leaf of snow-white iceberg lettuce, cheese... but no doubt about it, the patty within was absolutely from a bovine source. Thank goodness I don't have any religious or strong moral positions that could have really been compromised, but I was truly surprised that after the conversation I had with the clerk, and the fact it was 2:30 in the afternoon and I was the only person at the drive through, that no one had the slightest qualms about just handing me a very obviously NON-garden burger (and ahem, charging me accordingly). It was too late to turn around, and I of course didn't really care about it that much, and ate some of it anyway. But I thought the carelessness was worth noting, particularly for those persons far more virtuous than am I. So, I conclude by saying, if you're a fellow fast food road tripper, don't make The Whopper your burger destination, at least not from this Burger King. read more

Inside cashier acted like taking orders in a timely manner wasn't apart of her job. She wasn't very friendly and acted somewhat rude. After I finally placed my order she failed to hand me my cup. I had to ask one of the other employees for it. After I asked the other employee the initial cashier knew right away what size cup I needed for my order.... shocking! If the wait time and customer service wasn't enough, I watched the original cashier use her hands to pick up few fries for my order. I politely asked her to remake my fries and she did. The BK at 12580 West 64th Ave, Arvada, CO 80004, has not been making fresh brewed iced tea any more. I've been going there regularly for several years and getting the iced tea, which was a good strong tea. The last few months, when I stop in, they do not have real iced tea, I'm told they only have tea from the Freestyle machine. The iced tea from the fountain machine is disgusting. If they are not brewing iced tea anymore, I will not be patronizing the restaurant. read more

I have gone in here and had my order messed up on more than one occasion the last one my cinaminis has no icing and I was headed out of town so I couldn't get it fixed, my biggest complaint however is they ALWAYS take a long time and have attitudes, today I walked in and someone saw me but didn't take my order just walked to the back and started doing something else and the young man in drive through who did take my order had an attitude the whole time and even rolled his eyes when I asked him if I could have a coke from the drive through drink machine rather than the new one out front, there was also only one car in line and no one else in the lobby and my boyfriend was able to go to Taco Bell and get back then had to wait on me because they took so long.
