I was visiting family and they decided to go here. I got one of their specialty pizzas. It was pepperoni with hot honey. I ended up taking some leftovers with me. My family got a salad and burger and they enjoyed it. Service was good.

Alright, Yelp... brace yourselves. I have arrived with opinions hotter than the wings I irresponsibly ordered at Homegrown Tap & Dough. First of all, let's talk about the main event, the icon, the moment, Katja. No, I'm not being dramatic. Actually, I am, but she deserves it. This woman didn't just serve tables, she orchestrated an experience. Mind reader? Possibly. Angel? Likely. She floated in exactly when needed and vanished when I was mid- feral wing devouring. The smile? Illegal. The vibe? Immaculate. The energy? "I already put in your order because I knew." Big kisses, standing ovation, someone get her a raise yesterday. Now let's set the scene because this place is doing the most (in a good way). You want romance? BOOM! A chandelier booth. You want main character at golden hour? Open-air street vibes with torches flickering like you're in a soft-focus movie montage. You want cozy? Lantern-lit booths whispering "stay a while." You want sports chaos? Giant TVs screaming the latest game. It's hip. It's upscale. It's confused in the best way. It kind of like a stylish bisexual of restaurants. Something for everyone. Now... food. Let's get messy. I ordered the hot wings because I enjoy pain and poor decisions. ‍ And yes, they delivered. Heat level: flirtatious but with malicious intent. Then came the quinoa salad with salmon (Katja's suggestion, because of course she knows me better than I know myself). And listen... I need a moment. The quinoa? Fresh. Crisp. Alive. But the fruit in that salad? Oh, we're crossing lines. That sweetness hit me like a rom com confession in the rain. I almost texted someone I shouldn't have. It was that good. Meanwhile, my bestie (who I am currently reevaluating due to food envy) got: Personal pepperoni pizza--classic, reliable, no notes. Cookie pan--gooey, molten, grandma would approve but also be slightly concerned. Exactly how it should be. So what's the catch? The handicap? The flaw? The scandal? Honestly... I tried to find one. I really did. I squinted. I judged. I sipped my drink like a critic. Nothing. Maybe the fact that you'll fall in love with your waitress and have to emotionally recover later. Final verdict: Go. Run. Skip. Uber. Crawl if you must. Sit anywhere. Eat everything. But pray just PRAY, you get Katja. Because she won't just serve you. She'll understand you. OH! And the IPA's good too. I had the Highline and the Juicy. Juicy was more inline with my taste. Both solid though.

Came here on a Thursday night. It was pretty full but we were still able to get seats for 2. I like the decor with the real wood planks in a modern-sh style and the star lights chandelier and even the deer coat hooks on the bench seating. The food is pretty good. We got the crispy fingerlins to start and they were sooo good. The potatoes had the right amount of crisp and were soft on the inside and they were so flavorful with a hefty amount of garlic which we both loved. We also got some drinks. We tried the spiced pear cocktail which was well crafted and also tried the Madagascar dream beer which was so tasty. It had a smooth froth at the top, went down smooth and left a sweet aftertaste in your mouth. It's also from a local brewery which is nice since I like supporting local businesses. I got the chicken pesto with quinoa and it was tasty and a fairly healthy option. My friend got the sausage mushroom fusilli which had a good thick sauce to it. The mushrooms were nicely cooked and blended well with the pasta and sauce. Service was good and prices were affordable.

The truffle fries had great flavor but they were cold when I got them. The grinder was great. Plenty of meat soft bread very cheesy and the aus ju sauce was fresh and flavorful. The dry creek apricot blonde was a nice cold b beverage for the beautiful spring evening. If you get a chance sit outside it's a nice change from being inside a crowded restaurant.

This is one of our favorite places in the Denver area! Great selection of drinks, reliably, good food, and an overall great atmosphere. Every time we come, we are surprised in a great way. This time my daughter was gifted kid-dough aka pizza dough play doh. Brilliant! She is 10 and very rarely gets this excited about something at a restaurant. Yes, it doesn't work for younger kids (they have a kids menu and crayons too) but it was a nice surprise for a kid who loves slime. Also shout out to the awesome gluten-free crust. It is the best pizza by far. I have had since becoming gluten-free. Has made us regulars here and highly recommend to others!

Wonderful service, great pizza and clean atmosphere- what more can you ask for! This restore t is extremely kid-friendly, they even bring out dough for kids to play with while waiting for their pizza! I love my crush soft but crunchy and man do they have that perfected! They offer a great lunch special of a side salad and personal pizza for $14. I believe that special runs from 11-2 and is a steal! We will be back!

I've only had beers, cocktails, and french fries here so cannot comment on the food, but everything I've had here was delicious! I was especially happy with the cocktail I got. I don't remember what it is called but it had lavender in it. More so than the food though, the service here has always been perfect. Our server during our last visit, I believe his name is Daniel, was very attentive and personable throughout the duration of our visit there. Finally, the atmosphere is really nice! From the walls, chairs, to the tables, it gives off higher scale restaurant vibes but without the price tag.

Was greeted by the owner, and just the fact she was there told me all I needed to know. Small but cozy space in a strip mall setting, I will probably do a kid free date night here once they get the alcohol going. I rarely find restaurants that exceed expectations on food, service and ambiance. This is one. I ordered the chicken piccata, works pizza, penne bolognese and salad. All were top notch, my kids actually cleaned their plates, and the pizza may be the best in town. When I reheated it, the crust was optimally crispy. I will eat here again, soon

They were pretty busy at around 5:30 on a Saturday evening and we were lucky enough to snag a table since they also take reservations and some were being held. The service was great, she gave us her recommendations and was very very patient while we all decided what plates to share. They give you some small plain bread knots when you sit down and had no problem, giving us a refill, even a side of marinara sauce for dipping when we asked. We started with the Caprese appetizer, which was fresh and delicious lightly, garnished with the balsamic glaze that sets the flavor off, not too overpowering. We shared three different pastas - the penne rustica, the shrimp and artichoke, and the pesto tortellini. The rustica was definitely the best, it had such a depth of flavor, and the sauce was a perfect rosé of creamy tomato, with the vegetables helping set off the textures and flavors even more. The other two pastas were good, but I wouldn't prioritize ordering them again, the pesto tortellini was so rich and creamy, but lacked any pesto flavor, which was surprising since it was vivid and green, and so visually appealing. The shrimp and artichoke was good, but didn't allow me, I felt like the artichoke needed more seasoning or something to bring it out a little in the sauce and pasta mix. The owner Nancy was such a sweetheart. She was so attentive and came over to us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Next time I'll be trying the Bolognese :)

Everything is always delicious It can be a little loud, a little crowded, long line, but it's worth the wait and you don't have to wait long. I was sorry to hear that they recently had a fire. I hope they can remodel and open soon. It is a little suspicious that so many great local restaurants are experiencing fire and damage lately, I hope it's just random bad luck and nothing more nefarious.

The "Restaurant Kid" Litmus Test: Parisi Passes with Flying Colors…read more On my first day in Denver, a childhood friend took me to lunch at Parisi, though he was admittedly a bit apprehensive. Having grown up with Italian heritage on both sides and parents who owned an Italian restaurant, I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to authentic cuisine. He was worried I'd be overcritical; instead, I was completely charmed. Located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, Parisi offers the kind of authenticity that is rare to find. Here is why it earned a perfect score from a tough critic: The Main Course: The Tagliatelle Ragu was balanced and traditional--exactly what you want from a high-caliber kitchen. The "Woodfire" Factor: The aroma of the woodfire pizza oven hits you the moment you walk in. While we opted to eat inside rather than on the lovely patio, those scents alone convinced me that I have to return specifically for the pizza next time. The Grand Finale: I had to finish the meal with my favorite, Stracciatella gelato. It was the perfect creamy, artisanal end to a fantastic lunch. The service was seamless, the ambiance was inviting, and the food spoke for itself. If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true slice of Italy in the middle of Denver, this is it. I'll definitely be back to tackle that pizza menu!

My son chose ranch with his salad and ordered the fettuccini alfredo adding parmesan chicken on top. I chose the fettuccini and meatballs with marinara. I selected Italian dressing for my salad. The salads came on cold plates which made the veggies seem even crisper than they were. It was more than just the usual side salad with the addition of garbanzo beans. We all enjoyed the freshness. My husband and I went here to celebrate his birthday and Father's Day this afternoon. We were promptly seated without a reservation at one of the table on the patio to enjoy the fresh air. We started off with an order of garlic knots and Italian /chicken lettuce wraps. We asked about the honey dipping sauce and were told it was on a spicy side, so we skipped paying the extra $2 for it. However, our waitress wanted us to try it, so the honey was on the house. And, boy, that honey dip sauce was indeed very spicy! And the wraps? It was delicious! Fresh cherry tomatoes with diced chicken breast and bean plus seasonings. We loved the dish and finished everything on the plate except for the 3 sauces. We ordered our main entrees after finishing our appetizers. I had the Linguini & Clams, while my husband ordered the Rigatoni & Sausage. What a disappointment my Linguini & Clams dish was to me. The lack of flavor from one of my favorite dishes made me sad. I was looking forward to it. Adding hot pepper flakes, then black pepper, and the worst was adding salt. If this dish were to be prepared correctly, I would have been happy to eat it all. However, I gave up after adding my own spices. The Rigatoni & Sausage dish? OMG, out of this world! The red sauce with the meat sauce smothering the pasta was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. I'd wished I ordered that dish, but at least I was able to try a couple of bites. After entering the building, the hostess approached with a tepid "what's up." Our server acted like taking our order was a favor, and she was so eager to walk away I had to get her attention TWICE to finish ordering what I wanted (hey, can we also get an order of pepperoni rolls, HEY, can I also get an IPA). Zero attention paid to water and drinks that needed replenishing. The manager needs to pay more attention to the level of service and professionalism of the staff, a lot more. This may be why they tack on a mandatory 20% surcharge with a little lecture on the receipt about how it provides a living wage, because I doubt they'd ever get tips at that level with this style of service. Or maybe the service is that way because they don't feel any need to work for a gratuity. Under the circumstances, calling this a "hospitality" charge was just plain tacky. I didn't feel like there was any hospitality, certainly not enough to warrant a 20% fee.
