This is a classic smash-style burger cooked on a flat top, so if you're expecting a charbroiled flavor, that's not what you'll find here. That said, I really enjoyed it. It was a little stringy, so when I took a bite, an entire strip tended to pull out with it. That meant I basically got all the bacon in a couple of bites and then it was gone. Also, be prepared: this is a messy burger. The bun was fine, but it really couldn't stand up to the size and weight of two patties and all the toppings. By the end, you're probably going to need both hands and plenty of napkins. The onion rings were good and made a great side. I'll definitely be back. Next time I'll probably skip the bacon and try some of their less traditional burger toppings.
