Stopped in the drive threw, the workers pretended not to see me, when I spoke into the mic saying hello they scream out at me "I'll be with you in a minute, wait!" I went inside to see who didn't have home training, I wasn't surprised when I saw. The skinny long face one greets me with extra attitude. I ask to speak with the manager, she takes her time, doing everything else besides getting the manager. I went to sit down after waiting 10 minutes to make it clear I wouldn't be leaving until I spoke with them. She finally gets the manager, a large portly woman. I ask her why did no one greet me when I pulled up and why did you yell out at me in the speaker? She denies everything and starts giving a million excuses about working in fast food, and how it's soooooo hard. Like she's working at NASA or something. I quickly grow tired of her excuses and manipulative reframing of my valid complaints and ask for the regional or district manager's contact information.They start to print a receipt, mumbling something about it should be on here. I say that's not good enough I want the office number. The skinny long face one panics and realizes that they could actually get in trouble and be held accountable for their poor service. Guess what she does? CALLS THE POLICE. Saying I threatened them as she dials the numbers. I watch her and say "Call them, I haven't done anything illegal, and we can verify all of that with the lobby cameras. I'll wait right here for them." She hangs up the phone realizing that I hadn't done anything illegal and everything I had done was on camera and she was in the middle of committing a crime herself, making a false alarm / false reporting. But it was too late, the police called back and this time the portly manager woman answers. Understanding the position they were in she decided to double down, but in a very calculated way. She tells the operator "he's being aggressive and we don't know if he's under the influence, and he may have a weapon on him I'm not sure." All the things we typically hear at the beginning of any of the tragic police shootings of unarmed persons. Her intention was to tell police things on the phone that cause them to approach on high alert, but all statements so vague that she could plausibly say she just wasn't sure (which she did when officers arrived) and all very difficult to assess for officers coming into the situation. I stood in shock listening to this obese black woman sounding like Ann Coulter over the phone. That's the moment I decided I'm not going to let this go. It was totally unacceptable and dangerous. I left the lobby and went to my car to grab my phone for documentation purposes and to speak with the 911 operative myself to file a counter report. As I was walking out the skinny long face one says "now he leaves" but she was too dumb to realize I was not leaving but actually preparing to document any interactions with the incoming officers. Unsurprisingly, when the police officers arrived they were in fact on high alert, they had been told there was an aggressive, possibly armed, possibly altered state of mind person on the scene. Officer Akers's first words to me were "Keep your hands out of your pocket where I can see them." Of course as both sides got into explaining what happened the officers quickly realized the information relayed to the 911 operative was not accurate and a over dramatization of what really happened and that were actually in the middle of a huge waste of time. I agreed with that assessment. Calling the police saying I'm aggressive because I asked for the management contact information is a false report. The two workers in an desperate attempt to save face had me trespassed from the property. I got the contact information of the officers and left without incident. Needless to say I will be following up on this situation in both civil and criminal court to fight the trespass order but to also seek damages and possibly press charges against them and their company for their actions.
