This was our first time trying Raising Canes and we must say, we were impressed. The chicken has the perfect amount of juiciness and crunch and is nice and hot while not burning your tongue as soon as you take a bite. I cant complain about the fries and man o man that Texas toast is delicious. The service was normal not anything spectacular, and the atmosphere was definitely better than most other fast food restaurants. And our only complaint would be that you guys need more than two sauces, canes and ketchup sauce. You need to have something like honey mustard because if your like us and you don't like that mayonnaise and ketchup based sauce you don't really have anything else to dip your tenders in. This is my favorite Cane's to go to in the area because the parking lot is easy to manage (if I miss my turn I just go to the church parking lot and walk over). There has always been a decent drive through line. If I am really in a rush I just go in and they get me in and out way faster. Other times I don't mind waiting. Customer service has always been wonderful, every time I've gone. They are always upbeat and friendly. I feel bad that the employees have to say the cheesy lines every time, but if corporate is reading this then they are indeed consistent with it. One time I accidentally got cole slaw with my meal (still got everything I ordered) so decided to try it. I don't know if it was an off day but I could not finish the cole slaw, the taste was too sour. Texas toast all the way, which I do anyway. The lemonade is always a great choice. CONS for people interested: (1) Long wait time for "fast food". Either go in or expect to wait a bit is my suggestion. I am sure the workers are doing their best, people just love Cane's. (2) I feel like my chicken tenders get smaller every time. Sometimes I open my box and I am disappointed to see how small my tenders are, other times they are decent. I've had take out from Raising Cane's for work. Got the kids meal and thought it wasn't enough to leave a review. Was really good that I knew I would have it again. My Mr and I was craving chicken fingers so decided to do take out here. If you've ever had Zaxby's chicken down south, this is very similar except Zaxby's was the first to introduce the Texas toast and sauce. Except on their crinkle fries, they season it. Canes is just salted. This place is as close to Zaxby's so I'll take it for right now until I can get my fix down south. I got the 3 piece combo with toast and fries. My Mr got the 4 piece combo box that includes the coleslaw, fries and Texas toast. When he got home, the fries was still hot and tenders was moist and delish. I like the Texas toast better from Zaxby's. This one is a little too thick but hits the spot. I really like the sauce. Goes well with the tenders and fries. Been wanting to give Raising Cane's another try for a while now. We checked them out when they first started to open in the area a couple years ago because there was a decent amount of hype surrounding them..and especially the sauce. I finally got around to it last week..I placed a to go order at their drive-thru..and unfortunately my opinion is about the same as it was when we tried it before. First off, the guy running the drive-thru window was a bit..much. Not sure if what he was saying was scripted and required or if he was just crazy into his job..but after proclaiming himself my "chicken expert" he started rapid fire spitting out all these chicken puns and jokes. It was a lazy Friday afternoon so his energy was a bit..much. But you know, good for him for having a good time with his job. And I feel absolutely awful for him and the crew if what he was saying was a requirement of the job..jeesh. Anywho, I went with the three piece combo with fries, garlic bread, and a diet coke to drink. The drive-thru service was super fast and I placed my order and was on my way within a couple short minutes. Once I got home the food was a bit..soggy. The garlic bread was particularly soggy..not crisp at all. The chicken was soggy too..the fries weren't bad but they were the crinkle cut variety and I'm not a huge fan of them. The diet coke was perfect. The chicken smelled amazing and had a decent taste to it. Very juicy..just wish the breading would've been more crisp. The famous Cane's sauce is honestly not bad, but not outstanding. It's tasty enough. So yeah, again, don't really get all the hype surrounding this place but it's not bad. PRO TIP: Split the Caniac Combo with six chicken strips ($10) between two people to save a few bucks. A lot of people swear by the Cane's sauce, but I think it's nothing special. I just really love chicken strips and fries! Ordering was fast and servers were friendly enough for fast food. Our food took a while (I want to say about 15-20 minutes) because apparently they lost our ticket. After we had our food and were enjoying our chicken, a manager came by to apologize to us and offer a coupon for our next visit. I've been to this Cane's plenty of times since it's been open and I haven't been disappointed. The person on the PA says something along the lines of "Hot chicken, hot chicken, what combo you pickin'?" It's almost as memorable as their competitor's across the street signature line. I usually order the same thing: a caniac combo, no slaw, extra fries. For my drink either I'll get sweet tea or I'll get nothing (which shaves a dollar over your order and doesn't make you pay tax). So the total is either $8.99 (no drink) or $10.06 (with drink). The food is great and it's in a prime location. Also, I sometimes order for my friends and ask to do two separate orders and they're able to accommodate it. Highly recommend going here. read more

located now in Oakley - I was super pumped when I saw it. For those who dont know the menu consists solely of 4 items essentially: 1) Chicken Tenders 2) Crinkle cut fries (not the normal oreida kind) 3) Texas Toast 4) Coleslaw So if you dont like any of those four items then I would not come here :P. The chicken tenders are super moist and well fried, and crispy. The fries are well seasoned but not never frozen or anything. I'm not a big texas toast guy but my wife loves the toast and coleslaw We generally split the caniac combo which is: 6 tenders, fries, toast and coleslaw plus a giant lemonade which is 10$ So any place that my wife and I can eat for 10$ is solid in my mind Plus the service at this particular one is fantastic! read more
