I'm not sure how this location earned over one star for a rating. We just went through the drive thru for a kids meal on a Thursday night. There were zero other cars and the associate working was aggressively, purposely rude. He was unhelpful, short, and condescending for no reason at all. I recognize that everyone has bad days, but I was friendly and polite and had no special/difficult requests, and I feel like he actively tried to give poor customer service by not replying to me, rolling his eyes, and speaking in a curt, annoyed tone. as we pulled away, my middle school daughter said, "That's the worst customer experience I've ever seen." My son recently stopped to grab a burger and he said it was actually fresh and hot. We thought we would try them one more time and the food WAS fresh and hot. This place is awful. Management does not give a crap about how this place operates. The last two times I tried to go through i used an open space in their split lane system. Only capable of the brain power to operate one side as well as incapable of putting up a cone on the side they weren't using. One night I went through and the food then wasn't good, the chicken was old and dried out. The other time I was on the opposite side of it and was ignored at the speaker while the other side was being serviced. Once a week, I treat the grandkids to Burger King. Why Burger King? Location, location, location. I've enjoyed using their app while getting a good amount of food for my money (selecting the offers available for larger orders). All fast food places make mistakes, from time to time. However, an unforgivable "mistake" is handing our large order (3bags full) to the car in front of us, at the drive thru. That patron rummaged through the bags and returned them to the BK attendant. They remedied his order and he drove off. We drove up, only to the receive the rejected/returned bags of food. This is not FDA protocol! I asked for new food and was refused. I, reluctantly, accepted the food and told BK that it's not okay, but the kids were hungry. When I got home, I did the online customer survey. Generally, you get a reply when you are not satisfied. So, I did a second survey. An automated response was sent, "they will look into it." I received an email asking how I'd rate their customer service. Loop, repeat, loop, repeat. Finally, I was told (in an email) that the franchise owner would be looking into this. A week later, I let Customer Service Rep know that I was still waiting, for the owner to contact me. Horribly disappointed! I tried to go in Burger King, the door was locked but I could see an employee laying on the counter and he just stared at me and my friend! My friend then tried to go through the drive thru and they wouldn't answer through the talk-box thing. A few seconds later, a lady came through drive-thru and they took her order immediately ! Been going to this location specifically for easily 5 years with friends, poured hundreds of dollars into them and recently they told us we couldn't be in their store without a parental figure. It seems they are especially hateful to children, even though they are the main source of income. I drove 13 minutes to pick up some food for the family and when I got home order was wrong and I got this when I ordered a Texas whopper this looks nothing like it and it had no bacon . It feels odd to be writing a review for Burger King - we all know Burger King's food is pretty good and definitely not very healthy. But since moving to Erie and being really close to this particular BK, I've been here 3 times now - once for breakfast, one for lunch, and most recently for dinner, each time in the drive thru. This is, bar none, the SLOWEST drive thru I have ever experienced. Every time I've gone I've waited at least 5 minutes at the speaker to order. Between pulling into the drive thru and getting my food, it's been at least 20 minutes. Ain't nothing "fast" about that. The folks working here are friendly-ish, but the food has always been bad, even by fast food standards. TLDR: Poor food and an absurdly long wait to go through the drive thru. We had a spur of the moment decision to take our kids here for a special treat as a school reward and what a mistake! Upon entry the restaurant had almost all of the chairs were on the tables (this was 6 at night). The restaurant itself was dirty. There was leftover sauces on the tables, food and crumbs by the place where you get napkins and drinks. The entire staff except for the poor high school student looked like they were strung out on drugs. The manager looked like a sloppy mess and to top it off the Manager came out of the back with an unlit cigarette in her mouth and was walking around. They had rap music blaring in the back from their phones also. Try explaining this behavior to two five year olds!? I would never come back here with kids and would suggest people to avoid it at all cost! They need to do a better job at managing this location. read more

BK is our go to place when we want a quick snack and my special needs little girl loves french fries! So we come here because we NEVER have to wait for our fries to cool down because their always COLD! I've only had hot fries once but waited 15' for them! My 7 year old boy likes the chicken tenders which they now don't have. Now let me talk about the staff... BK must do a 15' training and let these employees run the place! In the drive through I've learned that you MUST ask for napkins or you won't get them as I've had food here several times hoping each time will be better. Today I had a last minute order at the window and I've been accustomed to waiting for my cold ass food from here so I said sorry to the person at the window (who must have been the manager) and he acted like I was really putting him out so I let him know, SORRY FOR PUTTING YOU OUT! I could continue on with more negativity but I think we all get the point. I had eaten from this BK over 20 times. Every time I order a chicken sandwich. Within minutes of leaving I took my first bite. The bun was soft and warm, but the chicken was over cooked and not warm. As I was on the freeway already, I did not go back to the store. I continued my attempt to eat it but could only manage a few more bites. It was not good. In fact it was quite awful. Worst service I've ever encountered at a fast food place. Been here 3 times, and all 3 times it has been slow, they forgot items I had paid for, and the things I did receive were incorrect. On one occasion I waited so long for someone to take my order that I wound up leaving before they even spoke to me. And this last time: they forgot an item I'd ordered, got another item wrong, the fries and drink tasted terrible (how do you screw that up?!)... All this, after waiting 3 minutes to order (with no line) and another 10 minutes to receive my order at the drive thru. I had to wait an extra 2 minutes after receiving my order just to ask for my receipt (that hadn't been offered), and the guy at the window couldn't find it: he hadn't given the last 10+ customers their receipts either (and probably hadn't asked them if they wanted theirs, either). Beyond sitting in their drive thru for 10 minutes at 5:30pm I really appreciate getting cold fries and stale chicken fries (that literally snapped in half they were so old)that were also jalapeño flavored (which I didn't order). Service was lousy. Guess I should be grateful they got the tomatoes added to my chicken sandwich. Side salad was worthless- really enjoyed the soggy tomatoes and little bit of cheese. Today was the worst experience here. First I placed my order using the app. I get there and all the lights outside are off. ( classic let's make it look closed) inpulled up the the drive thru and nothing. The staff inside see me pull up and ignore me. I knocked on the window and still ignored. At this point I just wanted my money back because I was checked in and my cc was being charged. Finally the night manager I believe, a much older guy walks up and signs what's up. I show him my order and he walks away. Cones back 5 minutes later and said we are waiting on fries. The burger was a tx double, it was dry no sauce whatsoever, and cold. The cheese did t even melt. They are extremely slow in the drive-thru, they don't listen to what you are ordering and then still screw up the order. Ordered a BK Whopper, said NO to cheese..got cheese on my COLD Burger anyway. Ordered Large onion rings...product wasn't even warm and was soggy ! I frequent BK but this store has ZERO management or supervision of the Kids they employ. 22 minutes wait to order and get to the window and be giver food that isn't even warm, Numerous cards and trucks behind me drove away rather that wait any longer.
