I went to this location on Sunday and got food poisoning. I spent Monday on the toilet. Would not recommend at all.

This location sucks especially if you come here later in the night. The employees don't care about their job or your food. They will severed a rock hard chicken sandwich that you cannot take a bite out. Staff was extremely rude. Staff member, Bria, had hair down to her knees & was touching it and waving it around in circles. When my partner and I walked in she looked at us and said, I know someone else wanna come get the order. As if she wasn't standing at the register. Then, she rang up the wrong sandwich without asking for help. They made the sandwich and we explained we asked for the original chicken sandwich. She rolled her eyes and said, "do you want this? Or you want me to fix it?" Obviously we wanted the food we had ordered. She fixed it. Nobody had gloves on. It was disgusting, every table in the building dirty. Her waving her hair in circles really blew my mind as a former food service worker. 0/10 recommend and I will never go back to this location. read more

This may be the cleanest fast food restaurant in Fairview Heights. My kids and I love going to visit this local Burger King because of its cleanliness. I was hungry for a grilled burger with real lettuce, onion, and tomatoes. Ordinarily, BK would satisfy that craving. It wasn't until I was already in line and at the order board that I realized I had been here before and vowed not to return. Look, if you are going to pay $25 for two people at a fast food joint, there are certain expectations. First, you expect to be greeted cheerfully at the order box- well, just a greeting would be great. You expect to get your food fast ( fast food, right?) Not sit behind the only other car in line for 15 minutes. Then I thought, well, they're not busy, they're making it fresh! Fries take a minute, right? Wrong. There have been a few times that I had difficulty with this specific restaurant. One time I was at the drive thru and ordered my food, pulled up to pay, gave them my card, and they told me to pull up in a parking spot so that they could hand it to me when it was ready. No problem. I've waited my entire lunch break (less than 45 minutes) and still did not get my food. I went inside and asked for a refund. Instead of refunding it on my card, they gave me cash instead. This time, I went there after work to order food and it took 15-25 minutes for each car to move up to get their food. I worked at Burger King when I was younger. If my past manager saw that, he would write us up immediately. There was no sense of urgency in getting our food. I understand if you have a bad night, but this happens every time I come here! I think corporate needs to come to this restaurant and make the proper improvements. No customer should have to wait 25 minutes each time to get their food. I gave it two stars because although they take too long all the time, they at least got my order right all the time. Service was awful. Pulled through the drive-thru and asked to wait. Sat for approx 7 minutes. Finally pulled to the window. The server then began to berate us, saying "i asked you to wait because i was having a problem with a customer!" Then she said "and you can't order at this window" and that we would have to pull around again. I'm not surprised there was a problem with a customer! I would give no stars if possible. We used the ap to order waited 15 min and went through the drive through. When we got to the window they gave us our drinks and had us pull around to the front door. There was no one in front of us in line and no one behind us. While we waited three other cars were pulled around. 30 minutes later still no food. I was about to call them and make sure they were okay when someone came out and gave a car that parked after us their food. Then they came to ours and said I think this is your order. Luckily it was. My husband and I were in the car and had an order for our daughter which included a sprite. We didn't check the sprite while we were waiting 30 min for them and I wish we had because it was all carbonation and no syrup. We didn't find out until we got home. Our fries and onion rings were cold when she gave us the bag but by this time we judged wanted to go home. My jr whopper was a mess even though I asked for light Mayo it was oozing Mayo out the side of the bun. I asked for extra pickle and the 3 pickles were stacked in the middle of the burger. I pulled up at 1930 and the first thing I see is 4 staff members standing at the front counter talking. We proceed to get out of the car and go inside. The door is locked and the dining room chairs are flipped on the table. The dining room hours are posted on the door and it indicates they should still be open. We get back in the car and pull up to the drive thru speaker and the staff state they close at 2300. I did not like the young staff, who clearly don't care about the business and have extremely poor work ethics, so we took our business elsewhere. If that type of work environment is kept up, I can guarantee the BK in Fairview Heights won't stay open. Message to the owners: save your business or close it. read more
