Always busy and always good! I remember someone saying a restaurant that just does chicken tenders is not going to last. Boy, were they ever so wrong. Raising canes chicken is one of the best places to get chicken tenders. They're not like any chicken tenders that you ordered at a restaurant. Those are usually mass produced and sold at restaurant warehouses. These chicken tenders are unique and taste so good. There's a reason why there's often wait because people come for good food. If you haven't tried the sauce oh my goodness what are you waiting for? It is the best. I love how each restaurant decorates their dining area to reflect the community. I was in town for a visit, I hadn't ever eaten at a Raising Cane's. This is not a restaurant we have where I live so I was very curious. When I got to the restaurant the place was packed so I figured this was going to be good! The employees were courteous and helpful, answering any questions we had about the menu. The restaurant dining area was clean and orderly as an employee was cleaning and straightening up tables the entire time we were there. The food was great , possibly some of the best fried chicken I had eaten in some time. The menu is simple and clear as far as what they served. My only slight, and it is slight, complaint was their food was a bit on the pricey side, I'm giving them four stars but I assure you it is simply about the cost. read more

The Fairview Heights Raising Cane's is not managed nearly as well as their locations in Louisiana (where they started Cane's). On today's visit we ordered two 3-finger combos and one was missing the Texas toast and the other was missing slaw (we asked to sub slaw for the fries). On many occasions the dining room needs attention...this location is very busy and in my opinion they should have an employee in the dining room at all times cleaning tables, restocking beverage bar, etc. read more

Came over to Fairview Heights just to try Raising Cane's... oh I wasn't disappointed. We got take-out, and they were making food really fast for having a lot of people in the establishment + in the drive through. Aura of the restaurant was great, with very humorous, nice staff members (how about that winner winner chicken lunch?) Once we got our food, the girl asked immediately if we wanted ketchup, didn't even have to ask. They also put ice in your drink for you, saving you some time. Staff and atmosphere, 5/5. I got Southern sweet tea to drink, and it really didn't disappoint. Probably the best tea I've had. 5/5. Now, for the food. Chicken: Really tender, juicy, and flavorful. Despite the pieces being a little small, it was still very tasty. Cane's sauce. 5/5 Fries: I love fries, but not really a crinkle cut guy. However, VERY good for crinkle cut and paired well with the Cane's sauce. 5/5 Texas Toast: Best piece of bread I've ever put in my mouth. Very flavorful as well. We're just foreshadowing towards the heavenly Cane's sauce. 5/5 Coleslaw: I love coleslaw, I live for coleslaw. Very fresh tasting and creamy. Not a maniac, so no Cane's sauce for this one. 5/5 Cane's Sauce: I've been talking about it and foreshadowing towards it through the whole review. I hate to go off the charts, but 6/5. Overall, I give Cane's 5.1 stars out of 5. Best restaurant I've ever eaten at. If you have never been, and even if you have, even multiple times, I highly recommend going, again and again. Manager was friendly but employee over the speaker today was extremely rude! I deal with rude people all week at work and have to keep a smile on my face because that's my job so when I'm a customer that is spoken to rudely for no reason, it's not okay. Even worse is seeing employees look out the window laughing at you because they know you are upset about the rude treatment and then hearing them speak about you using your name is even worse (you give your name when ordering). Fairview Heights, IL location Manangement is Horrible and Ridiculous, I was there on Saturday, August 3rd at almost 1:00pm and I hear the Manager (Juanita) yelling at a employment (teenager) all in her face telling her to find something productive to do (and there was other employees doing absolutely nothing) why single her out? The teenager as Juanita to please stop yelling at her. When the young lady was finding something to do Juanita started yelling at her again to Clock Out Clock Out and saying Bye I couldn't believe what I was hearing, then I hear the Store Manager Chris yelling at the Young Lady (teenager). The Young lady crying upon leaving the store, Now I come to this location often and the teenager is always so friendly and polite. Management needs to be Fired, because that is not how you treat your employees, upon checking on the teenager she express she really loves the job and is planning to attend college next week and was expecting to continue to work for Canes while in College and when she comes home for her breaks. Terrible customer service. I only frequent this place for my son and husband because they love it. Personally, I'm not a fan of their food. Nonetheless, the staff at this location needs retrained on customer service. Anytime I've been here I have encountered a very rude person who takes my order. Take note, it is never the same person. At first, I thought, maybe someone is having a bad day, so I did not complain. Well, I have been here countless times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME the person who takes my order is rude. I wish I could give it zero stars. Ordered for curbside. I arrived and said "I'm here" at 7:11 pm. Approximately 10 minutes later I clicked "I'm here" again just to be safe. Gave me the same message and time as having arrived. 10 minutes later I started calling the number given. Called 4 times. Rang and rang. Nobody picked up. I finally walked in. The order was sitting in the carry out area with a time of 7:12 on it. It was 7:35. Several workers standing around not doing anything even though drive through was full. They were out of coke and ice but didn't call me to tell me this or ask what to replace the coke with. Customer service is in a sad state. In addition, the strips seem to be getting smaller and smaller. I was excited to have Cane's over here a year ago, but I won't be going back now. Buyer beware. read more

Ordered 95 Classic Chicken sandwiches 3 days in advanced. Showed up at scheduled "Pickup" time of 8:30pm. They had not even started to make any of the sandwiches when we showed up. After military discount she said my total was $60.22, BUT she said her receipt machine had not been working for quite sometime. So, I asked the second window to print me a receipt and the manager did! So, I get my food and as I cut the corner the cashier is standing at the curbside saying she owes me money. She has a bunch of bills in her hand but only hands me $15. (Paid her $70 in cash at window). As I looked at my receipt at home the cashier rang up military discount x 4!!
