I have always loved Burger King, but some locations have subpar service. Thankfully this is not one of them, and it was an excellent choice for a quick travel dinner. Stopped here off the interstate on my way to West Virginia and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Most fast food places have struggled even harder than usual to hire good employees with the economy in its current state, though the crew here is pleasant and seem to get along very well with one another, so I assume they have all been here for a while. The food is typical BK fare, though that's not a bad thing. This is still the best deal around for chicken nuggets, and flame-broiled hamburgers are nothing to scoff at either. I'm not going to waste your time describing fast food, just know that what Burger King does well, they do exceptionally well here. Plenty of indoor seating, and while I dined in, the drive thru appeared to be proceeding at a good clip as well. My only note about the location is that they're on your right if you came off the interstate, and the turn comes up pretty quickly so be ready for it! Definitely worth a stop! Staff was very rude. Employees were hitting vapes in front of customers. Staff was also cursing loudly. I could never imagine speaking to my customers in a rude manner. I try very hard to be reasonable, but everyone was just very rude. read more

After a five hour drive, we were tired and hangry but someone didn't want to stop along the way so it was nearly 10:00 when we pulled into the Hampton Inn and saw the BK next door. The Whopper was our salvation. The workers were hanging out in the parking lot so we thought they were closed but when we pulled up to the drive in, they went back inside and efficiently took our order. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT! Eat here. I ordered two Impossible burgers, and shortly after found a large piece of bacon in one. I promptly walked back and notified the staff. After telling them that there was bacon in my impossible burger, and it is haram "against my religion", they stood there and LAUGHED in my face! Throughly appalled I asked for a refund. To which she tried to haggle me on getting another burger. After 5 minutes she finally reluctantly gave me a partial refund. This restaurants customer service is disgusting. I ordered the BK fish combo meal via drive thru. I give 5 stars for quick drive thru service during lunch time. However, the food was absolute trash. My fish sandwich had a less than dime size amount of tartar sauce, the bun was almost crunchy and the fish square was so thin, dry and almost burnt to a crisp. I usually love their fries but I must've gotten the bottom of the bag. You know what I'm talking about. Not the plump fries but the flat ones with the little brown markings. There were only 2 employees when I went in tonight, so I understand there was a little wait. I'm patient and I understand that happens, so no problem there. The workers at this Burger King are always courteous and nice. The usual regular food Burger King has, but the service has always been great. It was very clean inside too. I didn't use the restroom this time, but they are regularly maintained and clean. Overall, a great experience here. read more

I couldn't see this location from the direction I was coming so I'm warning you to take the turn slowly! BK or Wendy's is my go-to road food, mostly because their chicken nuggets are cheap and I have a hungry dog to feed. They were open, there was no line, the worker was polite, and I got my order very quickly. My double cheeseburger was yummy. The 8-piece (EIGHT PIECES!) chicken nuggets were quickly devoured. I'll assume my dog Shadow loved them. It's actually a nice parking lot to eat your meal at, kind of high above the surrounding area. No issues here. read more

Extremely kind people that work here but the food wasn't great. When I walked in the place seemed abandoned. There was literally no one behind the counter. Then some people shuffled out after a few minutes. The mobile order thing doesn't really work so my food wasn't ready. The lady that worked with me was super sweet and lovely though. My mozzarella sticks were barely warm and my jalapeño poppers were almost empty. The cheese was like not their inside them? It wasn't the best experience overall. read more

This establishment just flat out doesnt care anymore. I just got home after ordering a plain double whopper with cheese. I checked the bag before leaving and saw my food marked on the wrapper and receipt the way it was supposed to be, opened it up. Its a single patty fully loaded whopper, thats barely even warm. My boyfriends order was correct, but was so dry it wasn't funny. Not too long ago, I went through and got a breakfast croissant only to come home and find it was still ice cold in the middle and luke warm at best around the outer edge. Their hours list the drivethrough is open until 11pm, but they will turn the lights off on you at 10:45pm. I ordered 20 nuggets. About 6 of them were bricks in nugget form. I understand that 10:45 is close to closing time, but my order won't have them working past 11. Maybe they should set their closing time to 10:30. Food takes forever, majority of the time the fries are raw and the chairs haven't been padded since 1988 so get ready for hearing loss when you pull out your chair. Overall it's pretty expensive when compared to somewhere great like Chick-fil-A or Roy Rogers, wouldn't recommend just keep driving to Cumberland and get CFA. read more

Do me and yourself a favor and go the extra mile into town and go to Sheetz, Pizza Hut, Fox's Pizza, Subway, El Canelo, The Hangar, etc. Anywhere, ANYWHERE but here. This is hands down the worst place I've ever eaten. I live in Frostburg and I'd rather drive the extra 7 miles to eat at the one in Lavale than the one 1 mile away. The lady running the cash register was extremely rude and out of line. After going to the restroom (in which only 1 of the 2 doors on the stalls worked) the paper towels weren't coming out and there was no hand dryer. I told the lady ringing up our order and she snapped that they are not out, it is just broken! She yelled at another customer because they didn't pick their order up fast enough (she called it twice) and told them to pay attention. The man behind us had 2 coupons and 2 orders and she told him he could only use one coupon. When he said something about having a second order she got angry with him and ended up ripping the coupon out of his hand and say "Fine!" This is not how anyone deserves to be treated, especially at a place they are paying money. The food was also cold and stale tasting. read more
