I was all excited about Hardee's as I remembered having it in the past, but the maybe 3 times I went it was underwhelming. Burger was mediocre. I remember the bun was kind of hard; I guess it is Hardee's. But Hardee's needs to go soft with their buns. I also got breakfast before, it was decent but nothing to write home about. Frankly, I prefer Dunkin' for a breakfast sandwich. I remembered I tried to redeem a free coffee one time, and they couldn't make an iced coffee, but the hot coffee was ok. Customer service wasn't terribly friendly. I think the last I went to this (or any) location was maybe in 2022.

My parents & I enjoyed the chicken at the time when they visited the week of Thanksgiving. Their chicken was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. It's no Don Pollo, Sardi's, or others, but it does the good and was convenient at times. The last time I went to Lima's was in October 2024. It was Friday, 10/11/24. I had a Poker night at an acquaintance's place in Arundel Mills area, and this was on the way. I wanted to eat beforehand as I wasn't sure what the food situation was going to be. Ultimately, Lima's kind of pissed me off. I was asking about trying samples of a couple of the sides (as I didn't remember; it had been maybe 2 years since I went), and there was a language barrier, where I had to repeat, which was frustrating. I ate in the restaurant. Cashier was unfriendly, and I realized they charged me 10 cents for the Anne Arundel County's stupid bag tax, or maybe it was Lima's just wanting to charge the fee. It was complete laziness on their part to not ask me whether I was eating in the restaurant or taking it to go. I know it's only 10 cents, but it's the principle of it. I won't return here.

I'm not sure we will make the trip (down the road from our house on base) to go to this one. It is one of those stalls in a food court. The building has a little shoppette market, a Dunkin and the Arby's. Monday afternoon (Pres. Day) it was empty at Arby's and Dunkin. It still took about 20 minutes for that simple order. I don't know if they have so little traffic that they just wait and cook to order-but ironically while "hot" nothing seemed particularly fresh. Of course none of the food looks like it does on the commercials, but that's true for just about every restaurant in business. I guess we keep coming back anyway, so they have no reason to try to do better between expectation from the come hither to the actual delivery of what you are served.
