I usually get the kids meal for a good value - under $8 for a cheeseburger that has grilled onions upon request - lettuce and cheese with crinkled fries a drink and a frozen custard with 1 topping. The custard machine was having issues this night and delayed serving in the timely manner of the custards. A few staff were gathering around and the lead was telling them to spread out and designate stations. The meal was not bad and the frozen custard is always a delicious treat. I usually get the cheesecake bits. The cheeseburger seemed to have a thicker patty than usual with the grilled onions, shredded lettuce and cheese. It kind of lacked mayonnaise and ketchup that I had to dunk in the burger to the ketchup as I bit into it to add some type of moistness to the burger. The fries were fresh and hot and salted evenly. The diet root beer I like getting because its pretty dang good. It has a good root beer flavor compared to a&w. I love their frozen custards. It has this creamy nice texture to it and its not too sweet. I usually do my own toppings for the custard sundaes. I usually get the butter cake or cheesecake pcs.

1/5 STARS -- PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING…read more I've been to MANY Mexican/Spanish restaurants in my life, and unfortunately, this place deserves 1 star from me. This review is based on my experience on August 9, 2026, so this is one of the most recent reviews you can find. The food was okay. I would honestly give it about a 3/10. Some things had little to no flavor, and some of the food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The fried plantains were especially soggy. Overall, the food was missing seasoning and freshness. But the BIGGEST problem was the communication and the employee serving us. My family of 5 went because we wanted a nice Spanish/Mexican place to eat. We saw all the positive reviews, so we decided to try it. The problem started when we were ordering. WE WERE NEVER TOLD THAT WE COULD ONLY CHOOSE ONE SINGULAR TYPE OF MEAT, ONE SINGULAR TYPE OF RICE, AND ONE SINGULAR TYPE OF SALAD. Nobody explained that choosing a little bit of another meat would automatically be considered an entire extra serving. We chose ribs and chicken, and we also wanted to try another meat. And when I say TRY, I mean TRY. We did NOT want a full serving. We didn't even want an actual piece of the meat. WE ONLY WANTED TO TASTE THE JUICE FROM THE MEAT. That's it. And we were still charged the FULL $4 PRICE for "extra meat." If I'm paying the FULL PRICE for the meat, then just give me the chicken! The frustrating part is that nobody told us beforehand that even wanting a small taste of another meat would cost an additional $4. If the employee had simply said, "You can only choose one type of meat, and anything else is an additional $4," we would have understood and made our decision. Instead, we were told nothing and were charged afterward. When we tried to explain ourselves, the employee was not very understanding. She came across as rude and dismissive, and instead of simply explaining the policy to us, it felt like we were being blamed for not understanding something that was never communicated to us in the first place. A little communication and kindness would have gone a LONG way. We also ordered lemonade, which my family ALWAYS gets. One lemonade was $6, which is honestly ridiculous to me. Our total for 5 people was around $110. On top of that, there was an automatic 15% gratuity/service charge. I understand restaurants have policies, but PLEASE communicate these charges and rules clearly BEFORE customers order. This isn't just about the $4. It's about the fact that we were never told the rules, we were charged for something we didn't understand was considered "extra," and then we were treated poorly when we tried to ask about it. Unfortunately, this restaurant has lost my family as customers. We will not be coming back. The food was okay, but for the price, the service, and especially the lack of communication, it was NOT worth it. This location does have breakfast all day, which some of the others do not. My only issue with this is when we have ordered for lunch, around 2pm, the biscuits have been old and hard making the sandwich inedible. I'm not a much of a plain biscuit eater but in my opinion they tend to taste old and dry in general when I try them with my chicken tenders. The chicken tenders have always been solid; hot, fresh and tasty. I absolutely love their BBQ so chicken tenders are pretty much all I get. Their fries are also hit or miss. Sometime they are over cooked and dry (almost stale?), cold or under seasoned but others they are hot, well seasoned and fresh. Service is okay, usually quick and efficient, but the staff isn't trying too hard on the guest service side. It doesn't wow you but you also don't leave unhappy. The interior has been clean in my experience and had more than enough seating. Trash cans were not overflowing like some fast food lobbies and the trash area has been clean.
