Burger King isn't a place I would usually stop at but at 6:05 AM, there weren't many places open. My friend and I pulled into the drive through as they opened and you could quickly tell the woman working wasn't a morning person. There seemed to be a bit of attitude when we ordered but she still took the order correctly and we did get what we wanted. We ordered a ham & cheese croissant to share and then two orders of their hash browns/ tots. The tots were good and had just the right level of crispness. The croissant was a bit soggy/ too soft and tasted like you would expect from a fast food place. I would reorder the tots but would stay away from the sandwich. read more

I don't usually rate any fast food chain higher than 3 stars but last night (11/9/11) I decided to stop through the drive thru because I always crave their mushroom swiss burgers. I was expecting to hear something like "may I take your order" in a tone like "what do you want now?" but I was thrown off guard by a more professional voice that one could not imagine in a fast food place especially B K. I drove up to the window to notice two gentlemen probably mid eastern and the other maybe hispanic break off from conversation as one took my money and the other went to fix my order. The wait I would say was close to an approximate 7 minutes which I did NOT mind at all since that means they must be making my food fresh. I received my food, snapped an outside picture since there was not a previous one for this place and started on my meal on the way home. FRESH, hot mushroom swish burger, snappy fries, cool Dr. Pepper (I always ask for no ice for obvious reasons that nobody likes paying for a cup of ice marinated with a little bit of soda). Waiting 7 minutes might NOT be the idea of fast food but for me if I have to wait that long for fresh hot of the grill and fryer food, I'LL TAKE IT! Breakfast is a fairly high-margin business. This BK charges 20% more than the second most expensive one I've been to. I guess at this location they like to soak you a little extra. On my last visit--and I mean "last" in every sense of the word--they were "out" of sausage at breakfast. What, was there a revolt down on the Animal Farm? I came here recently for a fast pick me up burger. I expected the customer service to be a tad bit better since it is in a nicer neighborhood. The pregnant lady who attended us however showed us that even during COVID season, people are still as unpleasant as always. I was trying to order an extra marinara sauce for my cheese sticks. If I could give no stars, I would. I visit this location twice. The first time, I ordered the Impossoble whopper, went back to work, took one bite and realized that it was actual meat. I couldn't take it back, because I was already at work. Yesterday I went to the same location, not thinking about my previous experience and I ordered the impossible whopper again, the same thing happened. I took it back and was told that they mixed up the trays that the patties were in and that they were sorry. This type of thing should not happen. This Burger King location is terrible. Went through the drive-through today and there was one car in front of me. Saw the car wait at the intercom for a few minutes before anyone from BK asked for his order. Then it took awhile longer for him to receive his order. I got the same treatment, which resulted in a total waiting time of ten minutes long. I ordered a large milk-shake. Now, I'm not sure if the Burger King menu just blows....but instead of a milk-shake, I just got 32 ounces of soft-serve ice cream, without any toppings or whip cream at all. It was absolutely terrible and gross. I did a bit of research, and I have come to find that what I received wasn't necessarily a BK milk-shake. The cashier, who just happened to be the manager, was upbeat, smiling, and exciting, that early in the morning. She was supper friendly, and very attentive to my needs, which made me feel important. After that I pulled up to the window as instructed and then apparently someone who looked like a manager misplaced my order so one of her employees had to point it out. Then they proceeded to put in the order that I had sent them well over 10 to 15 minutes prior and had to check with me on several items. I wouldn't be surprised if they put mayo on my burger even though the order clearly stated no mayo. All in all it took over 15 minutes to get a order that shouldn't have taken more than 10. They weren't very busy from what I could tell their parking lot wasn't full in the drive-through lane was not packed. They just don't seem to have very good organization and from some of the other reviews I've read this is not surprising. read more

The second visit saved this place from a one star bordering on a NO star. I went to this particular BK about a week ago before and the place was empty save for employee children playing and running around behind the counter. Terrible enough but what got my goat was being ignored while the girl child working there ignored me and continued to talk to the children of varying sizes and ages and they came back into the seating area. Not acceptable and I walked straight out. I decided to give them another chance and had what one might consider a normal experience for a chain like this, in other words, they didn't screw anything up and handed over my food adequately. Good help may be hard to find, but you can do better than hiring people who will allow friends and family back behind the counter with them. Thinking back over that, I am tempted to give them that one star again. I had not read any Yelp reviews of the place prior to my going there, so I got confirmation that they need to get their act together at this location once I did. Do better, Burger King. One night me and my boyfriend decided to stop by here and get something to eat since we both get off work late. Well we pull up the the intercom to order, and the lady is utterly annoyed that we are there. She keeps huffing and puffing everytime my boyfriend orders something. So irritated, all my oyfriend says is "I apologize mam, cancel my order since you seem to be very irritated with our order" we start to drive off and we hear her screaming "what? Just order!" As we are driving by the rive by window she screams "just order!" My boyfriend says "no thank you." We are about to leave when she yells out that my boyfriend is an idiot. He backs up to ask for a manager and a name. She ignores us, waves bye at us sarcastically, laughs at us because we are askong for a corporate number/GM name but she refuses and laughs instead. She comes up to the door, locks it and says "Y all can wait out there all night I could give a f***!" We are in such shock how rude this woman was for no reason. We did not raise our voice, we stayrd respectful since we know how it is to work in customer service. My boyfriend got a glance at the heathens name, and we came back a few days later to speak to the GM. The GM was very nice and felt completely embaressed about how her employee acted. WARNING - I went there yesterday as I needed something quick. I was just shopping across the street at Kroger, realized, oh no I forgot to eat! Oops. Ordered two cheeseburgers around 2:30pm. I became violently ill around 10:00pm. It started with stomach cramps. It was like someone was stabbing me. Every few minutes the stabbing pain would get so bad, I'd scream and heel over in pain. Followed and during this hell, I had projectile vomiting. This started around 11:30pm and lasted about 3 hours on and off. I had never been so sick in my life. Ever! I saw the doctor the next day (today) he diagnosed me with food poisoning. The vomit was violent and scary the stomach pain felt like labor combined with constipation and literally being stabbed. Lasted about 6-7 hours. I was too ill to take myself to the er. Hot/cold flashes occurred as well. If I could give it zero stars I would. I'm still unable to eat, dehydrated and have a terrible migraine. DONT eat there or any Burger King. Please! Like ever. This is a warning! read more

I wish you could give negative stars, because this place SUCKS! I'm new to the Heights, and a month ago, I went to this location for the first time and did drive through to order lunch for two of us. I get home, and part of the order is missing. Great! Now one of us isn't eating unless I get back in the truck and make another trip, meaning by the time I get back, the food I did get from BK will be cold. Today, a month later, I go back, despite my gut feeling to stay away. I order lunch for just myself this time and get home hoping to sit down in front of a football game and relax on my only day off. Again, for the second time in two trips, I got the wrong food. Worse, the food I got was chicken strips and a chicken sandwich, two things I hate that I'd never order for myself. Wrong order in the trash, I now have to go through the inconvenience of another trip out to get lunch someplace else. The incompetence and carelessness at this location is inexcusable.
