If Phoenix is unchecked sprawling suburbia, then Houston is Whataburbia. You get the idea. And I've been known to give Wendy's a one star rating and at best it might get a 2 or a 3 because I just don't like the food very much. But when you date the kind of girls I date, you end up in places like Wendy's too often. The food isn't good and you know that. But the special, personal, wonderful service we received from the girls here over the weekend was the loveliest and friendliest (and flirtiest) fast food service I've had in a long time. Your order disappears with a "oops something went wrong" and you can't get back to it, only view it in the history page. Staff here don't care about helping with a mobile order at all. "I've never used the Wendy's app" is the only response I've gotten. To be fair they probably aren't trained and it probably shouldn't be their problem. The only option is to call 888-624-8140, wait on hold for 15min and talk to a customer service person. I've had multiple instances and the overall experience feels like a bait and switch scam. To be fair, this is an app/mobile order issue not exactly a location specific issue, but this location happens to be the front facing customer experience. First of all, it's a bunch of remedial, young mexicans running the place with zero cognitive skills. Nobody else. The sloppy dude at the counter talked me into getting a cookie and I clearly told him, and pointed to SUGAR. I get home and it's the cookie I hate the most: PEANUT BUTTER! How you get pb from SUGAR is beyond me; the fries were stale and cold and I told him I wanted new fries. I bite into the burger at home and IT'S RAW! BOTH PATTIES. Shit looked grey. I obviously talked crazy to her cause how she became the manager, let alone employed there and she doesn't know bacon comes with certain burger is a joke in itself. I ask for corporate number and she tries to say something and scrabbled off some slow adult explanation I couldn't understand & she eventually hung up in my face. DO NOT GO HERE. I'm not big on fast food but have always considered Wendy's when I feel the urge. December is especially the time to go as they sell these $2 Frosty key ring tags. You buy it once and can flash it at ANY location, daily, for the next year and get a FREE Frosty Jr.! They really don't keep track so you could attempt to use to more than once with different employees at the store you're at or even use it at multiple locations. I'm not one who likes to low rate establishments after one visit, but this is totally unacceptable. Nothing but pure laziness exists here; no customers in the dining room and not one person cleaning up at all! Nearly every single table needed to be wiped down - most wet and sticky; one table had dirty trays on them and were never ever cleared the entire time we were there. The bathroom reeked of something unexplainable and the floor had puddles of standing water all over. My burger, thankfully, was good and had the extra veggies I requested. It hit the spot for my Wendy's burger craving; however the stupid Mango Peach FruitTea Chiller tasted like watered down flavored water - ya know when you don't mix enough Tang mix into your water? That's exactly what went on here. All things aside, the unkempt filthiness of any dining establishment's dining area is always unacceptable when you are NOT being bombarded by customers. Went thru the drive thru and order a Junior BACON Cheeseburger combo at approximately 11:22pm. The drive through was so slow it took almost 20 minute to service the 2 cars in front of me. Eventually I got to the window to pay and pick up my order. Drove away and bit into my burger and not a single strip of bacon on the Junior BACON cheeseburger. I had to cross freeway drive a few blocks before being to make turns on one way street. When I got to the window at about 12:02. Honked my horn to get workers attention then knock on window. A lady came to window and I told her what happened. She walked away and a few minutes later a guy came to the window and said they were closed and everything was shut down. I took these photos at 12:05am from the drive thru window of a sign stating they close at 1am. This was a Saturday night. Called the number listed on receipt the next day and they went to voicemail but you can't leave a message. Sent Wendy's a DM on Twitter Sunday afternoon 9/16/18 at 3:08pm . Sent another DM to Wendy's on 10/12/18 at 7:08am. Received a DM on 10/14/18 at 8:50am asking for contact information. Sent my contact information 10/14/18 at 3:10pm. On 11/16/18 at 1:44am I Sent Another DM to Wendy's because other than them requesting my contact information a month ago I had not heard from them. Received an email on 11/19/18 at 3:08pm to contact General Manager at my earliest convenience. Email also stated they emailed me a month ago. I search all email folder for Wendy and the email address this email was sent from and found nothing. I did find Quora questions about Wendy's from the summer but nothing for the time period in question. I Called at 3:55pm and the manager answered stating he thought I was one of his employees and he is going into a meeting and will call me back in about 15 minutes. Finally two month later I spoke with someone regarding this encounter. My watch and iPhone cannot convert Wendy's time. I went to this Wendy's location around 1 pm. The parking lot was a mess with 2 drive-thru lanes that also blocked the entrance from Sandman St. Overall the layout of the parking was terrible. The interior looked clean and presentable, with the smell of bleach. What bothered me the most was that as I got to the register, the older lady making burgers and scooping the fries was coughing every couple of seconds. This was a deep cough symptomatic of the flu. Ok I'm not a M.D. but I've had my fair share of the flu and I know how the cough sounds. She did cover her mouth, but with that SAME hand she was handling the burgers and holding the cartons for the fries. She went by the area with the frosty machine and was coughing without covering her mouth so I'm sure the saliva went on the cups and other surfaces in that area. The cashier asked if she could take my order and I told her no thanks and left the restaurant. It was extremely disgusting and I feel sorry for those who ordered from the drive-thru and ate that germ/virus-contaminated food without seeing what was happening inside.
