The Whopper Juniors and fries were unusually bad. The buns were dry and had way too much mayonnaise. The fries were so soaked with grease that we threw them away. I ate one and my husband didn't even want to try one. The service was quick. but the fast food restaurant was not clean and they were out of napkins and ketchup. They were unusually busy. I've been here a few times, never had a problem with the food or staff. Everyone is friendly and fast. Today I had double whopper with extra lettuce, chicken fries and two chocolate chip cookies. I rarely go to Burger King in general but this is the only thing near by open 24/7. I've been here 3 times over the last year and each time it never fails to disappoint. The staff is usually friendly but their organizational skills lack and I believe it's due completely to poor management the franchisee does not seem to care. Orders are usually wrong and being remade, waits are long, and they just seem to lack an iota of caring about making something decent. Where do I begin? This place needs to be closed down!!! The girls taking orders and filling food sacks look like they're fresh out of the county drug system. It took 25 minutes to only get our order wrong three times. They gave our order to other people and theirs to us! Twice!!! Then when we do get our order it's such a frustrating deal we just grab and go because we're now late. Down the road we find that our sack is someone else's trash! Worse Burger King ever. Stopped here because it's the only food around. Only one car in front of us waiting for food. Family was able to go in and go to the bathroom before the car even moved. When we finally got the food the breakfast sandwiches were cold. Not room temperature cold but bun still frozen cold. Coffee was only luke warm. we pull up to the drive through and they're closed during open hours for shift change and tell us it'll be 10-25 minutes until they're open. We wait thirty five. We go through the drive through again and still see them inside but no one answers so we go back in. We sit there for a bit until someone actually speaks to us and when they do all they say is "we're still closed." They were very rude, if your door is unlocked, there's no reason to be rude and unprofessional when we are clearly just customers trying to eat bro. This location should be ashamed of itself. I realize this is likely a franchise, but I really hope BK's corporate franchisor sees this review (and cares at all about it). I know...this location had a 2.5-star rating on Yelp going in, so that's pretty much a "Yikes! You really shouldn't even be thinking about eating there" in the first place. And of course, it's not a regular Burger King. Rather, it's one of those spots that's inside a Love's gas station/convenience store. However, I have visited other roadside fast food places in similar layouts (Yes, I know. That's how us Yelp Elites roll!), and they were fine. This one, not so much. The first warning sign, other than the aforementioned logistics, was the sight of an unhappy customer at the counter with two employees behind the register trying to help him. All I heard was something about wanting a shake instead of a drink and being charged for both. At this point, we're the only ones in line behind this one unhappy customer. By the time we finally get to order, there's six or seven other customers in line behind me. We place our order and then we go to try to find a table. Luckily, there's only a few to choose from that aren't covered in trash, so it doesn't take us long to find a spot. I go to get my drink, and both ice dispensers in the drink machines are empty. I then go to the counter and wait for my food. And wait, and wait, and wait. Remember that first unhappy customer? He's getting even more unhappy because he still doesn't have his shake. It finally comes, and he goes off on his not-so-merry way. I see a tray with what appears to be my Whopper and my wife's Whopper with 'Impossible' patty (which, BTW...looked less than Incredible once she got it). The two burgers are just kind of sitting there lonely because their onion ring friends haven't been allowed to come out and play yet. I stand there for 5-10 minutes before a guy looks up at the little order screen and asks another guy if he made onion rings. Nope, says the second guy. That's it. Nope. No other reaction. No thinking that, hey, perhaps I should go start a batch of rings. So first guy, who is only slightly more ambitious than second guy, goes to the back to dump some frozen rings in the fryer. Note, at this point, there's three people in the back all slowly working on assembling one burger. I have no idea what made this burger so darn special, but it was getting lots of attention....much more attention than me or my food, that's for sure. Eventually the onion rings are done, they're dumped, and two orders are filled. Burgers aren't that hot anymore because they've been waiting for close to 15 minutes. In the end, I guess they taste like Burger King food, but they're a sad representation. Nobody apologizes for the long wait, the lack of ice, the trashed tables, or anything else. In reality, I'm guessing nobody likes their job at this Burger King, and I can't say I would blame them. It's a depressing scene from start to finish. I couldn't tell if there was a manager onsite. There certainly wasn't anyone taking charge at any point in this horrible process. Assuming neither of us get food poisoning in the next 24 hours, maybe I change the rating to two stars. Nah, who am I kidding. This is one star all the way. I'm glad my daughter who dislikes Burger King wasn't with us because I'd never hear the end of it from her. Now I'm done throwing shade. Horrible service. The drive through cashier was rude and didn't know how to give correct change back. I had to get out my calculator to show her the correct change. After trying to argue with me, I finally got the correct change back. She spilled coke all over the sides of the cups and didn't wipe them off. Not to mention she looked and acted as if she was on a week long meth bender. The burgers were not cooked all the way through, and I did not receive all the items on my order. Food was not good at all, not sure what happened to Burger King, or if it is just this location.. also none of the sodas were mixed well, when I went to get my coke, half of the liquid that came out of the machine was white, which means they need to replace their syrup bags. I went back to the counter and asked the young man there if he had any diet drinks behind the counter since I can't have the sugared ones.
