Ya know, based on the reviews, I was hesitant to come in here. I typically eschew fast food of this nature and I can't even recall the last time I stepped foot in a BK. This one was super clean and the staff were nice and accommodating. As a vegetarian, my Impossible burger took a little longer to make, but it came out fresh and tasty. Like I said, the place is clean, BUT the floor be slippery as hell. Beware! Overall, it was a good experience to fill a once in a blue moon fast food burger craving. read more

I really never stop at Burger King and I've never left a review but I had to stop today because (I regret not remembering her name) the lady at the register working on 8/5 just before 1pm was one of the nicest people I've ever met. A bearded gentleman working in the back also was so kind to my kids. They went above and beyond to help us out and give my kids a fun experience. She just brightened our day on our very long road trip! So thank you! read more

I liked the fast, somewhat friendly service, and the fairly new and clean dining area with TVs. My order was correct, and the taste was consistent with other locations. Add the clean restrooms, and I'm thinking A-OK overall. read more

Horrible service.. stand there.. no one else in line.. manager looks around corner.. sees me does say anything.. man at window doing drive threw looks at me.. turns back.. doesn't say anything.. I say bound somebody help be? Manager says just a minute.. I stand their another 7 minutes.. say it's an ice coffee all you had to do was pour already made coffee over ice and I leave. I've lived in Platte City for about a year now and have only been to this place 4 times. I only had a good experience one time. 1. Back in June I had purchased those disgusting cereal milkshakes. I know it's not their fault it's gross. But I had to explain to how to not overfill the cups. Just because it has a dome lid does not mean you fill the liquid above the edge of the cup. 2. It was supper time and McDonald's was closed for renovations. It should've been a big warning that BK was practically empty when McDonald's is usually packed at this time. The burgers we got were cold and the fries were definitely sitting for awhile. 3. 2/26 we got this big sheet of coupons with our weekly circulars. So I used 1 on 2/28/18 to get my son and I breakfast. The lady at the drive thru was very nice and the food rocked. So maybe BK means breakfast King. 4. 3/2/18 since I had a great experience using the coupon for breakfast I decided to use one for dinner. The young kid at the drive thru, when taking orders make sure your talking loud enough so people can actually hear you. Then also I get that your trying to cheat the clock by telling people to move forward and park. But don't get an attitude with me when I say no. I've been forgotten too many times or had my orders wrong and had to come inside because the person couldn't be bothered to wait for me to check my food. The girl that had The mic talked so fastI couldn't understand her after three trys I asked for someone else they were very understandable. so I get to the window for my order and the little chipmunk was there. had a mask on so lip reading was out and was even more difficult to understand. I asked that they didn't put excessive condiments. mustard/ ketchup/ Mayo. I didn't know mayo was a bad word but I guess it was. The burger didn't have much ketchup any mayo but they did make up for it in salt and Mustard. Did I mention salt? Misleading! !Hot Dog Combo pics show 2 dogs and you only get one and slow service as a tip. The burger, fries and onion rings were promptly bagged on this to go order and sat on the bar cooling off while waiting for the single franl to be prepared. Try QT for a substantial savings. And then, when I opened the carefully wrapped package I found a scrawny hot dog that was perfectly cold. I do not recommend the Hot Dog Combo that looks quite appealing on the menu board and turns out to be far from quality and value. read more

Only because I can't leave a "0". Let's start by the difficulty there is in listening to my Oder. A #4 and a #11 both my medium diet cokes. That's it!!!!!! How damn hard is that to understand and let's now discuss what was not in my bag. Got a #4 but no #11. After repeating my order twice and the employee repeating it to me, they still screwed up the order. You want to be paid more at fast food? How about realizing you need to earn that and screwing up a breakfast order on a regular basis signifies it's not earned. What if a doctor wrote up 2 of 3 Rx's wrong? How about a priest getting the bride or grooms names wrong on the marriage license 2 of 3 weddings? Freaking ridiculous. read more

Horrible service. I won't ever go back! I sat there and watched as the kids played their phones. When I questioned the erroneous charges on my receipt, which I had to specifically ask for I was told that their policy is to up-charge. The manager on duty was poorly prepared for anyone to question an erroneous charge. From what I could tell in my brief encounter, poor training coupled with poor attitudes is what will keep this store from ever getting good reviews. read more

The restaurant was clean. Service was fast and friendly. There was good parking & access. The food was luke warm, borderline cold. I bought a chili cheese hot dog meal with onion rings & a pop. The food came up in about 2-3 minutes max. It had to be sitting around. There is no way anybody could have cooked onion rings or grilled a hot dog that fast. I won't go back. I hadn't eaten at Burger King in years, but wanted to try the hot dog. I remember why I never eat there. It was 3:15 p.m. and there were only 3 other customers in there. Burger King is offering $0.01 Whoppers if you order food using their app from McDonalds. I tried to take advantage of this offer, which was a bust. According to the app Burger King in Platte City, MO does not offer mobile app ordering. Their loss. I was so discouraged with the entire situation I ordered my food from McDonalds instead and deleted their app. FYI, according to their app the closest Burger King where I could have done this is 16 miles away in Leavenworth, KS. read more
