Absolutely awful experience! Will NEVER be going back to this establishment.
Customer service was beyond horrid and I hope the manager gets fired, because he was standing the whole time watching mistakes be made and then decided to make derogatory comments towards me.
Let's start from the beginning.....I had a coupon for $3 for chicken nuggets and fries. I didn't understand how my receipt was rung, so asked to clarify. The girl at the window first said she didn't know, looked at it and said it was right. I didn't ask if it was right, I asked for someone to explain it. She then told the manager, Matthew (ID# 550274) who then agreed it was right. I then again asked for an explanation, to which Matthew responded he could get a calculator for me and show me how it was right. I then asked for the coupon back to see if I could understand the situation better myself. Once I realized the language on the coupon myself, I said okay.
I then asked for a small coffee during my order, to which I was told I could only have a large coffee because they can't brew a small coffee. I then asked if the coffee could be put in a small cup, because it was not mine and the person who ordered it from me, requested a small. This was a big ordeal and I got comments made about how ungrateful I was for the large cup.
An associate put the coffee in a smaller cup, but when she went to give it to me, she spilled half of it....Matthew (who I later found out was the manager) just stood there and did nothing. I asked for another cup, which was full and Matthew just rolled his eyes, along with the rest of the staff who were standing there. Then, the girl who did this, got even more mad at me and the manager agreed with her, asking why I couldn't take the half full one. I told them, I felt that it was such a shame for a customer to be such a pain for them, (when these were basic requests.) It took them several more minutes to come back with a new cup, as the staff continued to insult me through the window. Someone said I was probably from Sewickley, considered an affluent area, so I would be used to getting my way. It shouldn't matter where I reside, but in reality, I am not from there and from a more modest part of the area, in the next county.
Matthew handed me the coffee and when I asked to speak with the manager, he said he was the manager. I told him this was an awful experience and he then told me to "have a better day, because it was obvious I was having a lousy one." I told him I wasn't having a bad day, but wanted my order to be right.....he kept saying I was (having a bad day) and continued to harass me, as he mentioned he didn't work in that crummy establishment to be yelled at by customers. He then told me to leave and not come back, especially as there were other people behind me in line (I was in the drive thru.) I told him that I would leave when I felt like the situation was resolved, as I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and have never seen such disrespect. A simple, I'm sorry for your order, how can I correct it would have gone a long way. However, he continued to disregard my patronage to the restaurant and continued to degrade me, including telling me to f*** myself at the end as I left.
As I drove away, I decided I would dump the coffee when I arrived home and get the person who ordered it, another cup somewhere else. I was afraid the staff tampered with the coffee order, due to there lack of customer service skills in general and the fact they took forever to get it to me.
I would have given 0 stars, but that wasn't an option. I hope the owner retrains the staff at the very least, because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. read more
