This is a super cute place right on the Main Street in Sewickley. The "bar side" of the restaurant has very cute whimsical decor and tables/chairs. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. They also had some very cute seasonal drinks. I had the cranberry thyme G&T and Korean boneless wings and both were very good. The boneless wings did have a little kick to them. During the holidays they also have a holiday themed pop-up bar behind the restaurant. The pop-up bar is totally separate from the restaurant. The pop-up bar area itself is pretty small, but they have a huge heated tent with lots of seating right next to it. read more

We stopped by Sewickley Quarter's holiday pop up bar, Sewickley Sleigh, and it was really cute inside! There's a good amount of space between the large heated tent, the little area with the fire out, and the bar in the back. The decorations were done well! Everyone we interacted with was super nice and the drinks we had were pretty good! We also really enjoyed their food offerings. Their fries were excellent and I was a big fan of their short rib pizza. read more

A friend of mine wanted to check this place out for their Tini Thursdays. They offer half sized, half priced martinis on Thursdays and live music (piano and bass cello). Reservations suggested through Yelp. The inside was very small but cozy and modern. Service was attentive and helpful. Menu is short and sweet. The drinks were amazing, my favorite was the Petite Jardin which was sweet and refreshing. The whipped ricotta was better than expected. Very delicious and very nice vibes. Visiting Pittsburgh and found this little gem by chance. Made a reservation for 5pm, which was right at opening via the Yelp app, which I highly recommend because they were quickly busy. The decor is cool. It really does have a New Orleans vibe. Holly was our server. She was down to earth, funny, knew the menu inside and out, and REALLY good at her job. She even gave us non-locals advice on must see places to visit. Food was great. Was going to take more pictures but we pounced too quickly and forgot until there were only crumbs. The appetizer portions were big enough for 3-4 people to share. We had two appetizers, two entrees and one drink from the bar. The total was around $80, which is very reasonable. I made a reservation for 6 people here and unfortunately had to cancel due to a family issue. I knew they required a credit card and might charge a late cancellation fee, and I expected something small or nominal. What I didn't realize is that the fee is $20 per person. We were charged $120 total. The actual amount isn't clearly shown during booking. You have to click a small, easy to miss link to see the charge, which I didn't notice at the time. If it had been more upfront, I probably would have chosen a different place. There were also plenty of open time slots available when I booked, so it didn't seem like they were turning away other guests to hold our table. In Pittsburgh, most restaurants simply release your table after 10 to 15 minutes if you don't show rather than charging a large cancellation fee, so this felt unexpected. Just something to be aware of before making a reservation. If your plans might change, their policy could be expensive. read more

We wanted to have dinner too but they wouldn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation even though there was only one taken table in the restaurant..... so that was disappointing. The food and drinks were good. I ordered the steak frites but the restaurant was out of skirt steak and our waitress asked if I would be ok with tenderloin, to which I said yes. It was unfortunate to learn when we received the check that there was a 13 dollar upcharge for the tenderloin, of which we were not informed nor was it listed on the menu. Customers should be informed of any up charges by the waiters or waitresses instead of finding it out for themselves through the bill. read more

We had our wedding this past weekend at Sewickley Quarter. Our experience could not have been better. Hannah is superb at managing the venue and assisting with the planning process. The venue is beautiful and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. Everything flowed perfectly, largely thanks to Hannah's involvement in the planning and execution of the event. The suites are luxurious and well kept. All of our guests had such a time and we received nothing but positive feedback. If you're thinking about having your event here - just do it! You won't be disappointed. This review is of the indoor bar, not the outdoor space or bar in the back. Unfortunately my experience was not good. I ordered a Manhattan (served up) at the bar and upon returning to our table found a gnat floating in it. No big deal, it happens. I fished it out and continued. When I happened to mention it in conversation with the table next to us they said they also found one in her drink (not the same cocktail). Hmm, that was a little more concerning, but I chalked it up to just coincidence. As I got down to the last third of my drink I found THREE MORE dead gnats in it! That is much more than an 'off night' or back luck. There is something way wrong with how they handle/store their garnishes or liquor. What's worse is when I closed my tab and mentioned this to the bartender she barely apologized and didn't even offer to comp my drink or make me another one. That is amateurish and very poor customer service. Who knows what kind of insect/pest issue they have, but they definitely have one - I won't be going back to find out! read more

Had a great date night at Sewickley Quarter. Called ahead for reservations and got seated in a quiet corner of the dining room. Started out with a pepperoni hot honey flatbread. It was gone in seconds! My wife had a Paloma and I had the maple bourbon old-fashioned. Both were solid. For dinner my wife had the Pittsburgh salad with crispy chicken and I had the black and blue salad. The roasted fillet on the black and blue salad was outstanding. Found this jewel of a place for me and my wife's 30th wedding anniversary . They helped coordinate the flowers I had sent locally, and had them in place for dinner. Holly, our server (a sweetheart) , lead us through ordering drinks, appetizers, and dinner. We loved our beautifully crafted and generously portioned drinks , Cinnamon Bourbon Fizz , and a Harvest Sangria. Plenty to sip on throughout our meal. Spicy whipped Ricotta, veggies & bread appetizer was thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered and shared a Teriyaki bowl and Filet Mignon Sandwich with dipping ajou . Absolutely loved them both.
