This place started around 1952. The order was given from a touch tone phone at the table to the front counter. We thought tnat some of the younger customers would not know how to use a dial telephone. Drive through service is also available, as it has been since the 1950's. Ordered a burger basket (burger and fries) $8., a chicken tender basket (five chicken tenders with fries) $11.50, onion rings, chocolate malted milkshake, chocolate ice cream dish, We got the food in about fifteen minutes brought to our table. Very reasonable. The 2 oz burger that I received was worst of all the items that I had. It was tasteless and reminded me of a smalll burger at Burger King. 1.5 stars. do not recommend it. We hope that the recipe for the burger would be improved. The crinkle cut French fries were average 3 to 3.5 stars and not plentiful. Could have used more. The onion rings were one of the two great items that we had. They were very good in every way. 4 plus stars. My mallted milk shake was good and the price was reasonable. This is when I called the restaurant back at 9:01 I was offered 15% off and told they would remake my food and send it back. Again this time it did come within the timeframe they promised but again it was only one order even though my first order wasn't made correctly. At that point I had waiting 3 hours and paid $37 for food that was incorrect and incomplete my whole experience was very disappointing and has personally put me off of the restaurant, I typically had ordered from here at least once a month but don't know if I will be ordering again because of the way my situation was handled.
