Another great restaurant in the Jersey Mike's Sub's franchise I was greeted warmly upon arrival, and ordered the original Jersey Mike's Italian, regular size, Mike's way, and added the spicy relish and jalapeño peppers I couldn't help, but also order the delicious cream soda from the fountain The sandwich was made with love, and I really enjoyed the visit. The meats were piled high, and the toppings were generous. This is the way grinders are supposed to be. The restaurant is very clean Also redeemed points for the grinder, so I only had to pay for the soda and tip. This was a great deal. read more

In a breach with tradition I opted to try the Chipotle Cheese Steak sandwich instead of my standard Club Sub. I was not disappointed! Went there to check on having subs made for a local sports teams pre-game meal that my office chose to sponsor, they got everything down perfectly and a couple days before we were to pick them up that game got canceled but Jersey Mikes understood that things happen and we got to pick another game a couple weeks later. This is obviously a newly built location which is very nice and clean. Ordering was quick and the meat was sliced fresh as you order it. I ended up ordering the Mike's Chicken Philly sandwich, with cheese, peppers, onions, mayo and lettuce. There seemed to be some type of sauce on it but that may have been the melted cheese mixed with the chicken grease. The mayo was a bit heavy but not bad overall. Store was clean and fresh veggies looked good. The order taker was in a hurry and the order was not taken correctly. The cold sub was made well with the maker asking questions. The cooked sub was made incorrectly and it was the wrong sub. Not only did they not ask about any veggies, but also included a food allergen requested not to include. Right across the road from our hotel, this Jersey Mike's is a new addition to the mild sprawl east of Staunton, VA. Not their fault if the local zoning allows for such development. Still, the space appears clean, the employees friendly and efficient, and the subs more than adequate to satisfy your hunger. We shared one of their chicken cheesesteaks, loaded with onions, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato and extra hot/sweet peppers. The standard sammy was enough for the two of us, although the big dude ahead of me ordered two large beasts for his next meal. He seemed quite happy with his haul and when I asked him if he liked Mike's, he smiled and said he had never been disappointed. I believed him. We liked our meal consumed back at the hotel. It was tasty and filling. Everything was fresh and the torpedo roll was pretty newly baked. Very fast and efficient service. Ready within 5 minutes of ordering. Ambience obviously was the same as any quick service restaurant. Sandwiches were DELICIOUS. We tried the bacon ranch chicken cheese steak and the Italian combo. Would get both again without any reservations. read more

terrible service and i have seen them drop meat on the floor on multiple occasions and then continue to serve it straight off the floor.

The employee who was making my sandwich was unpleasant. She was wiping down the counters and didn't change her gloves before touching my sub. I pointed out she hadn't changed her gloves. At that point she changed her gloves but did not offer to replace the sub. From that point she mumbled questions. I purchased the meal but I regretted immediately.
