First, the fries were done to perfection. So many times, too many times, half of curly fries are overcooked and small bits. These were warm, fluffy, and well seasoned. I didn't have to sort through overcooked pieces to find the good ones. But the reason I chose here was the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was exactly what I wanted. Came on a Sunday night. Only one other couple inside. They do have a small sitting area with about 4 tables. Service was pretty quick and the cashier was polite. It took about 12 minutes and we watched them cook it up fresh NO FOUNTAIN DRINKS just bottle drinks. So with no refills you are slightly overpaying. We ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich, a hamburger, and onion rings to go. This is a solid little burger joint. Stopped for lunch,ordered the Blue Cheese Burger,Cheeseburger and large fries. Tomato(thick cut)/lettuce and onion was fresh! And they didn't skimp on the BC crumbs. Roll was fresh and soft. I also like how you can see the food being prepared. FF were cooked well and had a little seasoning to them (but not overpowering) service was fast and the girl at the register was upbeat (jamming to the music) and pleasant. I finally made it to the Burger Max. While driving through the neighborhood, I noticed a new burger spot that I've been wanting to try for a couple of months now. I ordered a regular cheeseburger, fries, and I decided to try the lemon pepper wings. The burger was a nice size, and the meat was seasoned well. The hamburger buns didn't add anything to the flavor, which was disappointing. The fries were delicious. The wings were okay but I probably won't order them again. I didn't dine in, but the area was clean and they were watching "Popeye the Sailor Man!" The customer service rep was nice, and courteous. Next time I will dine in to get the full treatment.
