Knowing that my son could really benefit from OT therapy, I contacted the Alta Regional Center who referred my son to Monica at Little Bird Courage Company for an evaluation. She came to our home this past Tuesday and was with us for over 2 hours. She is extremely knowledgable and worked very well with my son. He was tired and fussy and she gave him all of the time he needed. She also took the time to explain a lot of things about our son that we did not know, like why he did certain things and how we can help him modify negative behaviors. I really appreciate the time she took to explain my son's behaviors to us because in all of the evaluations he has had no one ever tried to help us gain a better understanding of my son's ASD and Monica did.

The therapists we've had have all been good, there have just been several changes with my son's assigned therapists which can be difficult for little ones. I think this has to do with the time of year we came in, with several people working just for the summer and leaving in July/August due to their training programs ending or school year based jobs picking up again. So totally understandable, but still more change than ideal for kiddos who really yearn for structure, routine, familiarity, etc.

They are both fabulous. I have seen a huge improvement in my sons speech as well as his confidence. They make speech therapy fun. Both therapists we have take their time and have adapted to my sons specific needs. They call me with a weekly reminder which as a busy mom of four I appreciate. They have always worked with our schedule when we have needed to adjust. I bring my toddler along with me and I appreciate the books, toys, coloring pages they have in the lobby while we wait. Also his favorite stickers. It is a nice office complex that we often walk around while we wait.

My 52 year old husband had a massive brain bleed September of 2025. I apologize that my review was…read moreslow to come as it was a very difficult time to revisit. However, I strongly believe that the people at this facility should be recognized and others needing help should know how exceptional their care is. My husband was left with minimal to no movement and was on a ventilator in their sub-acute care wing. I was hesitant to move him here as, truthfully, the facility is not much to look at, but it's the people that matter and make a difference. I visited him daily where I saw him receiving as good if not better care than UC Davis had provided. They are a truly skilled, caring team of people. A few stand outs were: his nurse, Aiza, who was talented, compassionate and truly brought joy to his last days; his CNA's Omar and Natasha who kept him clean and facilitated getting him in a chair so he could leave his room for a different view and even go outside; his RT, Debbie, who provided education and kept him breathing; and his case worker, Richmond who literally worked day and night to find a way for me to get him home for his final days before passing. This was so important to me to provide my husband a private, loving place to pass away alone with me by his side in a dignified way. I can't thank this team enough and I am eternally grateful for the care and compassion everyone at Roseville Point showed to me, and especially my husband during this very difficult time.
