We were rethinking our decision to grab dinner here once we realized it was inside the Holiday Inn. We were looking for a quick dinner before heading to our football tournament. It was 4pm and the restaurant was empty except for one other customer. When seated the server let us know they were short a cook. We explained our time crunch to the server. She and bartender (I think) assured us that they would do their best to get us out in a hurry so we went for it! They didn't disappoint. It was happy hour so appetizer were 1/2 price and they had the usual deals on draft beers & well drinks. My husband and I ate here a couple times as we were staying in the Holiday Inn hotel and this restaurant is inside off the lobby. I'll start off by saying the flavors weren't bad. The Firecracker Shrimp were good with just a bit of heat. My husband said the burger was good though very greasy. The main issue is that nothing looks as advertised and food items didn't exist. The burger didn't with the pickle as advertised. The brownie was supposed to be this cute jar, but came on a plate. That alone isn't too bad until you find out they don't do jars anymore. And the only desert they have is the brownie. So why have them on the menu?!?! Service was okay. Nothing to rave over. I wouldn't chose to eat here if I was staying someplace else. read more

Heidi was my server and she was lovely and had a very warm and caring demeanor. I was the only person here and she kept herself busy by cleaning and making sure everything was as it should be. I had breakfast here while my husband was asleep upstairs in the hotel room so Since the place was empty, I was permitted to stay a while. I ordered an omelette with a side of potatoes. the omelet and potatoes had fresh peppers and onions and were cooked perfectly with still a little body left to them. Great place for a juicy, delicious burger and a cocktail. I like the build your burger option, giving you free range to have it your way. I had a beef burger with swiss, grilled onions and mustard - sweet & simple. Their signature blend of Angus beef is a combination of chuck, brisket and short rib. Wow. An Appletini and perfectly cooked fries made this a favorite go-to I'll remember for our trips into Denver. However, one little tip... if you like your burger with a "little" pink, order it medium well. My medium was still trying to moo - oops... not for me! You'll also find Burger Theory inside a Holiday Inn, but don't let this turn you away. Completely surprised at how good the food was here. It's inside of a Holiday Inn and so expectations were not super high (most restaurants within hotels aren't great) - but this one is AMAZING. My husband and I both got burgers (their special sauce is YUMMY), fries and shared a cup of chili (super hot and really tasty). I love a good burger and I had such a craving for it (my diet must be missing something). I had driven by Burger Theory many times and with a friend in town, finally had opportunity to take a chance. We both did a BYOB (build your own burger) and while the offerings were tempting to just pile everything on, each item is $1 additional so I had to hold my horses before I ended up with a $20 burger. And the verdict? Lets just say not every one of my senses were satisfied. It looked and smelled great but I had to send it back because the medium well was more like medium rare. The coleslaw was dry and the cabbage pieces slightly rusty. My friend said the fries were a bit hard too (maybe stale from sitting out too long?). No gold stars for the food. Not to often I give a place 2 stars, not even sure when the last time was. Ordered wings and chicken and it took about 30-40 minuets just to get my food that was average at best. I gave the 2 stars for the solo waitress that was trying her best to run bar and whole restaurant by herself. She had absolutely no help and did her best. Two stars may be a gift. I drove by the "Burger Theory" sign for months as I watched the Holiday Inn being built. I love burgers and couldn't wait. I should have. My son and I finally made it on a Thursday for the "Best Happy Hour" ...also on the front sign. You walk in and walk past the lounge/sitting area of the hotel. I looked for a restaurant and found a brightly lit cafeteria. We sat and felt immediately underwhelmed. The Happy Hour was a few starters and a couple beers. The nacho fries were just okay...soggy and not spicy at all. Oh, I'm at a Holiday Inn. My HH craft beer was some average beer from Montana. They advertise local beers, but not "on Happy Hour." We tried burgers. My son liked his, but I noticed he only ate part of it. He did take it home and ate it...teenagers will eat anything. Mine was, well, I can't remember. And it was only last week. They have a "buy 4, get 1 free" card. Anyone want my loyalty card? read more

The burgers were good, but a bit over-priced. The fries were hard. Not crispy, not burnt, but hard. My main problem was my Coke was flat, and the waitress gave me attitude when I told her about it. Really good burgers for a reasonable price with the quality that is served. My girlfriend and I came here on a Wednesday afternoon. It was really slow, we where the only customers. I ordered the double pablano burger and my girlfriend ordered a bacon stuffed cheddar cheese burger. The burgers where amazing fries where also good. Lots of quality ingredients being used. This is a hidden gem but I am not sure for how long. It is located inside the holiday inn. We will be back soon. read more

Both were ordered medium rare and when I got home they were cooked well done. The fries and rings were disappointing. Obviously the other two reviewers had a different experience. In theory, a restaurant in a holiday inn you would think is just another basic restaurant with basic food and average everything. That is not the case! Chef Ty blew our minds with his cooking and fresh take on the classics. If you love ranch and honey mustard, chef will redefine the definition of that flavor and leave you wanting more. The food took well over an hour for it to arrive at my house less than 10 minutes away from the actual location. I really wanted to like this place. The food was cold upon arrival, missing ingredients as well as transported on its side so all of the food was smashed down on the left side of the box it was delivered in. The fries were soggy & the burger was missing ingredients. Had about two bites before it ultimately ended up in the trash. The wings were barely coated with any resemblance to buffalo sauce. This place is not the best place to go. We walked in and the hotel bell hop was the host. There was no one in the place and the table was dirty. No one ever came to help us or even give us menus. Today was my first time at Burger Theory and I had high expectations. I went in and was pleasantly greeted immediately by the bartender/hostess. I sat down at the bar and ordered a Single cheese burger deluxe add bacon with a Fry. When I got back to work, I realized there was no bacon on the order. When I called back and told the person who answered the phone, she apologized and asked me did I want to come back for the bacon??? Then I said that I wouldn't be able to, she just said add sorry again and offered absolutely nothing as a consolation which I thought was very distasteful, especially considering that I paid extra for the bacon. I have never in my life called a restaurant that messed up an order where I was not only offered a replacement but also offered something for the inconvenience. People make mistakes all the time, that is not the issue....but the lack of etiquette. I will not be returning read more
