The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. I wouldn't go back personally. The fried food tasted like fish. The sausage on the Jurassic burger were literally lil smokies that had bbq sauce on them. I was expecting a big fat sliced juicy sausage. The best part of the meal were the fries. Taste like they use peanut oil to fry them.

This counter service restaurant is full of nostalgic memorabilia. We were greeted warmly upon entering. The food was served quickly. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. I got the Chicken Philly and my husband enjoyed his Cowboy Burger. This place is a Denton go-to for quick eats. Highly recommend checking it out.

Visited for lunch as this place was on my burger visit list and I was in Denton. Overall not bad, 3.5 probably but I am on a quest to visit all the top burger places in DFW and this place did crack my top 10 list. I like the unique atmosphere and they have lots of unique burgers to choose from. Please note my 3 rating is based on many top burgers joints in DFW, not comparing to chains etc.

It's been a while since I was this stuffed and satisfied! Burger Time Machine is a GREAT burger at a good price for 1/2 lbs. I didn't want to eat the whole burger in one sitting but I couldn't stop. The meat is well seasoned with a good char and the toppings were complementary, and didn't overpower the flavor of the meat. The bun is nice in size and although mine did have a barbecue sauce on it, it was not a sloppy mess. Really delicious, well proportioned burger and the fries came out, piping hot, fluffy, and they too were filling. I had the 1/2 burger, fries and coke for $15. The atmosphere itself is very relaxed with games like like Pac-Man and Galacia, there is even a small area for children to play, although there were no small children present when I was there. The staff is very friendly and efficient. My order was taken immediately and my food delivered promptly, I didn't see anyone standing around, everybody was hustling and providing customer service. The radio plays old hits like Ice Ice Baby, there are times you hear radio commercials, but there's nothing wrong with that. Overall clean from what I can see with simple self service coke products, a roll of paper towels and I like that they have a container of ketchup vs the nasty all hands on deck red squeeze bottle. I can't think of anything that they could do better so I guess it's a five-star rating for a very casual, stuff your belly burger and fries. Recommend!

I hope Burger Time Machine never loses its charm. It's such a nostalgic feel when you walk in and see many classic movies referenced throughout. We ordered our food to-go and everything was well packaged. It was nice seeing all of the different things inside while we waited. The Texan Frito Pie was the cashier's favorite, so I thought to give it a try. The burger is a messy beast, but it's pretty good. It could use some salt or more flavor to the chili, but I'd get it again. I took a bite of the teriyaki, and it was pretty great! A well blend of flavor in that one. I love the house made fries. They were crisp and seasoned. I found out after we ordered that they have onion rings and curly fries I want to try next.

5 star food for the Great burgers but subtracted a star since it's kinda pricey. Do yourself a favor and order the onion rings!

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

The food looked great when it came out -- generous portions and nice presentation -- but the flavor didn't quite live up to the visuals. The burger patties were cooked through but a little dry, and the seasoning was pretty mild. The mushroom and onion topping added some flavor, but the bun felt a bit soggy halfway through. The cheeseburger was fine, but nothing that really stood out. The chili dog had plenty of chili and cheese on top, but the chili itself was a bit bland and heavy. The fries were thick and crunchy at first, but cooled off quickly and lost their crisp. They tasted more like frozen fries than fresh-cut. Service was polite and friendly, though the wait for food felt a little long considering it wasn't busy when we came in. The place has a laid-back, old-school diner vibe, which is nice in theory, but the inside could use a little refresh. It's not bad if you're nearby and craving a burger, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Our server Daisy was AWESOME! she was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Especially in giving good recommendations when we were between items. We got the pretzel bites to start, which were really good! The salad with blackened salmon on top and I forget what they were called but similar to a "dynamite shrimp" type dish were both really good too! Drinks were also great (my husband got a few different beers all of which he said were nice! He drinks mostly IPA drinks and is super picky so for him to find good beer is saying alot! I had a few different cocktails all of which were super refreshing on the hot day it was) we would recommend anything to eat or drink from there for sure! Maybe a Mediterranean style cuisine with shaved goat drizzled in tzatziki sauce with a Texan flair. I was wrong... but try gourmet burgers on for size. Burgers! Might I add- juicy, freshly made patties, and mighty tasty burgers! Man o man I loved the ambiance in a Friday evening. Came here with my son, who lives just across the parking lot at some urban apartments, and he was giving me his resounding endorsement so off we went. So glad I did! We both ordered the Bodacious Burger, layered in American cheese, bacon, heaping mounds of crispy onion, some grilled jalapeños, pickles, but I chose no BBQ sauce. Damn these burgers are thick thick thick and you can taste the homemade freshness with every bite. No frozen patties premade here. We ordered a single of hand punched fries dusted in parsley, salt, and Pepper. But, our waitress said it was enough for two, and she was spot on! Golden crispy fries were delish! I ordered their Old Buffagoat made with Buffalo Trace while my boy had a Vanilla Porter. All in all, great location, extremely friendly and immediate service, and more importantly, and no kidding- goatalicious with every bite!! As always, enjoy and Happy Eating!!
